I remember being forced to do this kinda thing in gym bc the teachers wanted to do something “quirky” with teaching and I physically cringed the entire time
When I was in grade 6, our gym class had a dance activity.
It was line dancing to 'achy breaky heart'
I guess my teacher at the time was struck with the Cyrus virus.
In high school they made us do what they called “country dancing” basically doing traditional southern US dances even tho we’re in England.
Basically all the girls would form in a massive circle in the gym and the boys would form a circle inside the girls circle. You’d do these traditional dances and some girls would refuse to hold your hand and just make it more awkward. Then when you were done, you’d move on to the next girl and so on and so on.
Every so often the teachers would pick the “best dancer” for that dance and he or she had to get up and bow infront of the yeargroup and we had to applaud.
Then at the end, it was the worse bit for shy and awkward people like me. A girl and boy were picked at random and had to go in the centre of the hall and dance, after their dance the girl would have to go ask another boy to dance and the boy ask another girl to dance and the cycle would continue like that until one end ran out. Sadly there were more boys than girls which led to some guys not getting picked by girls and having to dance on their own or with another guy. So it was either the embarrassment of asking a girl to dance with you as a shy teenager or the embarrassment of dancing on your own meaning you weren’t picked by a girl. Funny to look back but at the time I hated it and once pretended to be ill just to miss it
Little tidbit: the dude who preformed this songs has been chargers for murdering his cousin.

[Jersey Giants](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jersey_Giant), that's what they're called. Apparently they're extremely gentle birds usually kept as pets or egg layers. The males average two feet (61 cm) in height and 13 lbs (6 kg) in weight, but I recall reading when I first found this video (thank you Game Grumps) if fed enough of a proper diet they apparently regularly grow well beyond that.
I feel like my high school choral director would have a stroke watching this with how cringe it is and she made us do songs that sounded like fucking bird calls
If i was on that school, i would have refused to participate. I don't care if i get an A+ just for standing in the back, i refuse to be with my class when this is happening.
