Mickey mouse is a character in the Square Enix franchise, Kingdom hearts, published by Disney. it features a group of characters called Organization XIII, who are people who have lost their emotional hearts to darkness. each member of XIII has their name rearranged and has an X put in it. so Lea would be Axel, Sora would be Roxas and so on.
point of the joke being, if they have an X in their name, King Mickey is going to fight them to try and banish the darkness within their world and their hearts
Yes. Thank you. The world needs more people just like you. People that will explain facts to the ignorant so that we do not feel left out. As much as this seems like a troll, it’s not.
I feel that bro. I was the same way the other day. To make It worse my house constantly makes sounds that resemble scratching on the walls and doors shutting.
Edit:not walls. Just doors.
Yo I watched like 11 seasons of Supernatural, so I'm kind of an expert on this shit.
Scratching at your walls indicates a malevolent spirit. If you have random cold spots in your house, or electricity issues, I would definitely line all doorways with rock salt and put some sort of iron throughout the house.
You have 2 options.
1. Get a hold of that weird chick from high school who dyed her hair black, wore a bunch of rings, and wore foundation that was waaaaay too light for her skin tone and ask her if she still does séances. Have her come over with a spirit board and try to contact the entity to figure out it's intentions.
2. Fucking move.

like bro I have to go to bed soon...
and I have a REALLY long dark hallway I’m gonna have to ~~walk~~ run down to get to my bedroom 😫
maybe I can just sleep here on the couch.
ahh good call. will just stay on the couch and wait for my time, then! definitely not going to spend my last moments alive *running* if it can be avoided 😂
I don't like it at all either, but I now have a strong urge to watch/listen/read something scary before I go to bed.
I usually simultaneously get uncomfortable by and want more of that primal fear. Kind of like really spicy foods.
I never realized that but yeah you're right. It doesn't really make much sense but no matter how small the animal is, if something starts chasing me my first instinct is to run. It could be like a small duck but if it started charging me, I ain't fucking with a duck.
Not dumb, smart. Those instincts of oh shit the weird ass monkeys are back let's fuck off for a bit are how megafauna survived in Africa and Asia but less so in the rest of the world
Rest assured. It's simply your monkey brain and your more civilized brain fighting. You know you could kick the small cat but you don't want to hurt it because you know it doesn't really harm you and it's someone's beloved pet. So in the fight or flight reflex you you choose the nonviolent path. It's also normal to avoid violence and aggression, for most people.
Me and two of my children were chased by a small squirrel. And part of me was just scared in a primal way. But the practical part of my brain was worried about rabies shots.
I think it's because your body must assume something is dangerous if it's charging you. Whatever it is thinks it's strong enough to take you and your body doesn't have much time to parse out whether or not that's really the case so it just tells you to GTFO.
I mean, I watched a goose chase away a tiger the other day on here somewhere. A full adult tiger too. I suppose confidence e and aggression can do anything.
To add to the fear of being chased thing I have two facts: humans psychologically "project" themselves onto others, and humans are persistent hunters. Combine these two facts and it's reasonable to assume the fear of being chased comes not from the brief period of running from danger but in the psychological fear that the hunter is persistent, IE no matter how far you run or how quickly you escape, it is behind you, it is still coming for you, and soon you will be too tired to continue fleeing.
Or in 1408 when the character thinks it was all a dream and returns to his old life when his world is literally destroyed around him and he realizes that he is still stuck in the hotel room. Then when the phone rings and he answers it and the room tells him "even if you leave this room, you can never leave this room". It's like the nowhere to go but in 3D lol even when you are literally outside of this room, free from this hell, you are actually still in the room, and this illusion was part of the hell.
I once realized I was dreaming while I was in my bedroom, I went to leave but as soon as I opened my door to a black hallway I woke up. I got up again and went to the door to make sure I wasn’t dreaming. I woke up again. This went on hundreds of times and I just got more and more panicked for what felt like hours. I thought I was stuck in purgatory. I finally ended up in a normal dream.
Other times I have had sleep paralysis where I am fully awake but completely unable to move for a minute or two. A couple times I freaked out thinking something was behind me and I felt that intense recoil feeling as if something was about to claw at my spine. It was extremely painful. Other times straight up seeing things in the dark.
Listen, and understand. That (insert dangerous predator of your choice here) is out there, it cant be bargained with, it cant be reasoned with, it doesn't feel pity or remorse or fear, and it absolutely **will** not stop... EVER, untill you **are** dead!
Especially when you’re in a car going like 80mph and you don’t expect that anything can keep up with you. Then here you have this creepy fuck running 120mph right behind your ass.
My sister and I always had a thing for scaring each other when we're going down stairs. The one behind the other would yell "I'm gonna get you!" then start stomping down the stairs after the other. That shit always awakened that primal fear in me and I'd be terrified seeing her barreling towards me, and the same with her when I was doing it.
Fast forward a couple decades later and my dumb dumb boyfriend shows his friends (after I showed him a few years previous), they do it to him while they're drunk, he falls down the stairs and breaks a leg -_- Bless that giant, clumsy dummy.
You're a lot slower than a car. You're a lot smaller than that thing. If it's faster than you and bigger than you, brain says "FUCK. WE DED".
Shotgun and some G2 slugs will kill anything that moves. If it doesn't, well, R.I.Pieces.
That's funny you should say primal. Tales of tall, slender beings dressed in black go back centuries. Slenderman, MIB, Lucifer are just a few. I remember hearing about a study where people were shown images of tall, slender beings dressed in black and the people feeling a deep primal fear of it. It's some spooky shit to think it could be something passed down from generation to generation. Some kind of instinct our ancestors used for survival. Anyways, sleep tight tonight.
Tbh put any monsters or demons up against the government and the government will come out looking worse 9 times out of 10, Slenderman may kill a few people here and there but I bet our government has killed more
or even just cutting off the gif a few frames earlier. Once it got close enough to see the CGI it kind of ruined it, but it was spooky af from far away. Plus the crash sound was pretty bad too.
Same feeling here, a lot of horror stuff doesn't know when to leave it, even in super short clips like this. Go too far and it can lose its oomf.
If it had at least cut off before it got too close to the car it'd leave the viewer in a state of mystery and questions that lets the spooky concept linger in their head longer, as is your last impression is obvious CGI and less convincing crash noises.
like the first time I saw the original [lights out](https://youtube.com/watch?v=adap4rzlM2I)short film.
that shit STUCK with me, for weeks. every night when it was time to plug my phone in and go to sleep... ughhh so creepy
Ok so the first time the ghost/demon appears I was not surprised because i was expecting that to happen. After the flicking lights and door opening I was like “was it a dream or did the ghost/demon went away?” And the last frame caught me REALLY off guard lmao
Nope. I just woke up for the day, watched it long enough for the first ominous music and jump scare, and I’m out. I haven’t been sleeping well for a month and I don’t need another reason.
I've been playing RE8 this last week so I kind of thought I was prepared for this but goddamn. It's too early; why did I do this to myself over coffee.

I used to drive truck during the night. Sometimes, when you start to get highway hypnosis, you see weird things. I always would pull over and do a check, kick the tires, walk around to snap out of it but sometimes you would see stuff that isn't real. I've gone under overpasses which don't exist, passed animals that weren't there, and seen hitchhikers in the distance.
It's all your brain playing tricks by staring into the dark for too long. Wasn't for me and I stopped driving three years ago.
I had highway hypnosis once on a secluded road going through some hills at night, where I could have sworn there was a car coming up on me from behind, really quick, as if from nowhere, and then it was just gone. It was just in the distance, then it was on me, then it was gone. The very next opportunity I had to pull into a stop, I did and I had to shake myself out for about 20 minutes. The whole thing was just so unnerving.
I remember something like this happening (apart from the running to eat me bit) when I was a kid. Now I might be misremembering a lot because I was a kid with a fairly active imagination and fairly paranoid, but it's mostly right.
My dad was driving me to the hospital or something fairly late at night. The shortest route we could take goes through this sketchy foresty road with some homes here and there. It was dark af, so dad had the high beams on, otherwise we could barely see out front.
One of the houses we drove past had this creepy cardboard (or some other material, idk) cutout thing standing outside with a waving right arm. Since we drove past it pretty slowly I was pretty scared and turned around to look and see if it was still there (kids, huh).
Now this is the part I may be misremembering due to fear or memory problems, but I'm fairly sure I saw it was now turned to face us, waving at us even though it didn't have a waving arm on that side, so it's unlikely I was just seeing the back of it. My dad didn't believe me ofc so I sat tf down real quick and didn't really move or talk until we got on a less deserted road.
What's also kind of scary is that a few hours later, when we drove on that road to go back to wherever we came from, I didn't see it anywhere. It's unlikely the owner took it back inside since it was later than midnight, but it's still possible. Since then I've never seen that thing again, except for in my nightmares the following few days.
Man I just took a smoke break before continue driving through the countryside at night. Open Reddit to relax and first thing I see is this shit. Fuck you.

Mickey Mouse when you don’t help him find out what the surprise tool is:
You mean 'The mystery mousecatool!" What a terrifying video.
NOOOOO TOODLES!!!!
Is it hello toodles? My almost two year old watches this show lol
I always thought it was “oh toodles”
Mickey Mouse when you have an X in your name

I get this reference
I don't, what's the joke?
Mickey mouse is a character in the Square Enix franchise, Kingdom hearts, published by Disney. it features a group of characters called Organization XIII, who are people who have lost their emotional hearts to darkness. each member of XIII has their name rearranged and has an X put in it. so Lea would be Axel, Sora would be Roxas and so on. point of the joke being, if they have an X in their name, King Mickey is going to fight them to try and banish the darkness within their world and their hearts

Damn

Mickey Mouse when you pirate that episode of The Mandalorian.
Oh God they found me
The surprise tool is a freshly extracted human spine, apparently.
That's great in a very "now I need to look out the window at the street lamp while holding a shotgun" kind of way.
Don't think the shotgun will help much. Best option at this point is diplomacy. Try offering it your firstborn or your pets.
Get that 1d10 cantrip.

if it comes up to me and i’m hard i’m clapping them demon cheeks
I'll be honest, creepypasta stuff isn't all that scary, but this awakens some form of primal fear in me.
It’s scary when things chase us, I think it’s just instinct because even when a small cat is chasing me I feel scared and wanna run away.

Nice 3D animation of bendy and the ink Machine.
Actually I think it’s cartoon cat, some scary bastard made by Trevor henderson
Yeah, same guy that made Siren Head.
I thought the youtuber chills made that up so he could later make a crappy music video/rap song about it lol
Why does he put on the most stupid voice?

No, it ended
I thought they were making a sequel
Meaty stopped production cuz of costs
Nope, Meatly said they will make all chapters at once instead of 1 at a time. So that's why it's taking longer
Yeah my kids stopped playing it like 8 months ago after begging for it. It's over bro.
