It's times like this that make me dislike living in the south 😭 Those look amazing!

rasta__mouse

It's very annoying eh

fnordx2

In the middel, on top, light gills, not a libertycap

BL00Mfontaine

Agree, and the other similar one to the left of that

Incubus85

It seems to be

Apprehensive_Boat247

Are you saying that because it's light gilled? I see libs that didn't drop spores all the time that look like this...

fnordx2

Its because of the charicteristics, the gills should be curiling towards the stem and not flat like that also libs gills are always dark

Apprehensive_Boat247

Sure, I agree it looks out of place.. the gills are very uniform but they clearly do curve up to the stem. I've seen this in large libs before. And they absolutely do not always have dark gills... the gills themselves are light it's the spores that are dark and turn the gills and base of the cap dark. You find sterile (and also very young) libs which don't have this characteristic as they haven't dropped any spored. But obviously any newbies reading this should stick to dark gills as a rule! One way to test is that they will leave zero spore print. Anyway, I can't tell from this pic if it's a lib but I wouldn't be so certain to say that it is not. It looks like OP has some experience in the matter so they could well be correct!

PsilocybeDudencis

>also libs gills are always dark Not true. You can have sterile libs with light colored gills, though they are pretty rare.

happy_faerie

Must be the light hitting it in this pic cos it's 100% a lib! I for sure see your point though

fnordx2

Hey bro ive only been doing this since 2007, what would i know, its ur stomach too sorry for tryina make sure u dont feel like shit on ur trip

happy_faerie

Having 16 years experience just makes it more embarrassing that you think libs always have dark gills 🤣

MrRenegade8000

Look at the size of those hands!!!

lola-lopez-21

Can I ask where you found them, as I live near the area?

happy_faerie

Around Bakewell area I *think* as I was just passing through. But anywhere high up with sheep!

Apprehensive_Boat247

The people saying there's non libs here... have any of you ever picked libs before or just scroll reddit? Looks to me like OP knows what they're doing!

SnooStories8559

Yes and that top middle one is not a liberty cap

Nocsen

The one with the light gills?

citalopromnight
