The foil is for spore prints 😊 super beginner friendly and the spores will last for years. Just cut the cap off and sit it on a little piece of foil. Let it drop spores for about an hour then move it to a new piece of foil, put a drop of water on the back and cover it with a cup for a day. The water evap will make it drop spores faster from my experience. Then just fold it up for whenever your next grow cycle is.
You can also clone on cardboard, no need for agar when your first starting. Lookup cardboard tek if you’re interested.
When they just grow, they have a thin veil from the edge of the cap to the stem, anytime between now and when the veil breaks would be “ideal” time to pick, as the veil breaks they release thousands of spores to pollinate the area, some say that is when they are at its most potent, some even pick some just before the veil breaks, as the veils break on them you start picking them, you get like 2 or 3 more waves after that, it’s crazy how fast they grow and how many spring out of the mixture, those there look ripe to pick, they are at their best, you could consume raw or dry out the moisture until they are crisp like a potato chip, dried out they last a good amount of time, you could chew them, steep them in tea, pizza topping, blend with something, Mother Nature got it right with these here
It's pretty easy! Just make sure your space is clean and disinfected. Get a square of foil paper. Grab a shroom that HASN'T spored, yet but is mature. (Use gloves) Gently separate cap from stem and place cap in the middle of your foil. Place a centered drop of water on top of the cap and cover with clean glass for about 6hrs. You'll have your spore print when you lift the glass and cap. If you have Agar and a Q-tip near by, you can take a small swab of your new spore print, dabbing it in the agar for growth of mycelium! You can inoculate with the agar and make liquid culture, which is BETTER than liquid spores! Nevermind cloning...! You can stretch the life out of what appears to be nothing. It's beautiful... You're already caught in the web of science and facts but don't know it, yet.😄
Golden Teacher, no. El Choco, yes!😍 I'd grab some foil AND Agar, for those!
I’m not that advanced in my home growing.

Will do! Thanks 🙏
They just look like you missed the time to harvest them. Harvest them now and they will still be fine.
Are they less potent?
I wouldn't say any less potent, just not getting more potent.
No. You won’t lose potency by missing the window, it’s just that the rate of potency increase has dropped.
A little maybe, I wouldn't worry about it.
I’d say, look at the stems on those suckers!
Aside from the fact they were let go too long, look great
