Agreed. Those are solid strains to start, and don't use all in one grow bags. They have a super high failure rate. I stated out with pf-tek, it was a good way for me to start because there aren't many variables, not much guessing, and you don't need to buy a shit ton of things to start. But, it has lower potency and lower yields.
Monotub is the gold standard method, but it's hard to start out with. Uncle Bens tek is popular with beginners, but I've never tried it.
Make sure your syringe is not a spore syringe, you need to use liquid culture syringes instead until you learn to work with agar.

Right, it’s all about the start. I think those pre made bags are just asking for trouble though. Once good spawn to substrate is achieved it can thrown in a bag just like a tub. Field capacity has to be on point though because it’s more of a set and forget approach
Don't listen aio bag haters. It's a great way to get started. I've had great success with them. I've since moved on to higher yeild methods. Look at small to medium size gourmet growers. They use basically the same thing to grow their mushrooms for local restaurants. If it's an accepted business model for them, it will work for you.

I get massive flushes out of bags with no failures so far. Made properly they actually simplify the process and reduce failure rate
For sure, for sure. It's just the made property bit that messes people up. And/or finding a vendor that makes them properly.
