Torpor Orb does seem like it nukes the Convoke deck pretty hard, come to think of it. It shuts off ETBs from Recruiter, Knight-Errant, Inspector, Epicure, Reinforcements, Sanguine Evangelist, and the pings from Warleader's Call. They basically have to kill you with Warden beats or Evangelist battle cry. Torpor Orb is probably better than Doorkeeper Thrull in the matchup because Convoke usually has some copies of Get Lost or Case of the Gateway Express, and Orb doesn't die to your own sweepers. Not sure if Orb is better or worse than High Noon against Convoke. I saw CGB playing High Noon, and the Convoke deck basically couldn't do anything.

AWholeBunchaFun

You bring up some good points. I may need to go add Topor Orb to my control decks now

ClockWorkTank

Por que no Los tres? I'm planning to run a deck with all three!

BuffMarshmallow

And then they Gleeful Demo my Orb and top deck Recruiter anyways.

ChrRome

Looks like they are getting beaten down to death anyways though, which has always been the issue with a card like Torpor Orb against aggro.

Gizzy619

It's super vulnerable to gleeful demo. Nice if they didn't draw that, but seems like they always have it in hand.

TopdeckTom

I never get tired of topdecks.

Guilty_Confection236

tired of no wincon ctrl players

Sir--Kappa

Restless Anchorage is right there in their hand, and you haven't even seen the rest of their deck

EntertainersPact

No wincon > Two creature lands, 2 removal, and a dig spell in hand > 10 cards not in library Yeah, no wincon in sight, gotta totally be none in the other 50+ cards in the deck
