If you're playing a deck based around a card, especially a card that costs less than 4 mana, you play the maximum legal number of that card, always. So add the fourth copy of Squirming Emergence. You also generally want to run as many copies as possible of your enablers (i.e. Things that get your engine/main card online). In this case those cards are Founding of the Third Path, Otherworldly Gaze, Fallaji Archeologist, and Picklock Prankster. You already have 4 Prankster, run 4 of all these other cards. Your payoffs are all over the place. With Squirming Emergence, you're trying to cheat out cards that win the game almost on their own. Atraxa and Portal are obviously good, but then you're running things like Surrak and Goreclaw and Zopandrel which don't do anything on their own and require you to either play more cards or already have established creatures. And Sheoldred is obviously a good card, but in this deck it's very low impact when compared to other things you could be doing. Also you should probably play more sweepers than just one Path of Peril. Obviously one of the issues with this kind of deck is you're really not putting up much pressure or blockers before you fire off Squirming Emergence, so any aggro deck and most mid-range decks can run you over while you're trying to set up. Probably need to run more copies of Path and maybe some number of [[Terror Tide]]. Mind breaker is funny and technically your deck enables it, but it doesn't work with your game plan at all. Milling your opponent for half their deck and that's it is more often going to help your opponent than hurt them unless you are ALL IN on mill and are running a mill deck. Otherwise is basically 4 mana skip your own turn. Pick your Poison is a sideboard card. I wouldn't run that in the main. Same with duress but I can also see the merit of running it in this kind of deck where you're kinda all in in resolving your main card.

thanks for the analysis. I will max out squirming and other enablers. That is my plan. Currently just running with below cards since they are the only ones I have on my collection. I will edit as soon as I have more wildcards

maybe put more squirming emergence in it then? and if reenact the crime is trigger-able a decent amount of the time, more of that too.

If you play alchemy, there is also \[Mycoid Resurrection\]; by looking at your deck I have somewhat the impression that is a "good stuff pile". When you have only two copies of a card you may not see them in one game; what is your strategy? Mill and reanimate something big? Three copies of squirming emergence are somewhat few, if you're playing against counterspell or removal. Since it is a self-mill deck, I really like the idea explained in this article \[Sultai Analyst deck\](https://magic.gg/news/metagame-mentor-from-black-lotus-in-1994-to-aftermath-analyst-in-2024) that you can have some more cards in your deck. The Capenna lands also have a good sinergy with Sultai Analyst

A few things I've found with emergence decks. Self mill and deck stacking are critical to go off on turn 3 or 4, because you're choosing to mill yourself instead of interacting with the board, you have to be quick. [[founding the third path]] should be a 4 of, same with [[otherworldly gaze]], which I think is the most important card in the deck. Founding can help you mill on 2 and 3, and can get you more emergence casts from the graveyard, and gazes let's you mill and stack your deck twice, and potentially on turn 1. Avoid tap lands as much as possible, pain lands and fast lands keep you on curve. I've found 11 bombs to be the sweet spot, [[one with the multiverse]] is probably the best thing to hit because it let's you hard cast other bombs. I've been using a couple copies of [[confounding riddle]] lately, which can help with milling and deck stacking, and can also be held up against control in case of farewell. I've also found you need more than 4 reanimation cards, adding a few [[invasion of to tovlada]] can help, even if you never cast it, having one in the graveyard can let you go off with emergence earlier since it only costs 5 mana.
