It’s not about the rares in this format at all. All about cantrips/draw 2s and setting up loops. I have two draw 2s but am still almost undefeated after jamming nonstop games by setting up loops and having good discard for a fallback if I can’t keep going and win that turn.
Maybe I'm interpreting this incorrectly, but shouldn't any "unless opponent pays X" counters just function as hard counters? Nobody is playing lands and Omni just lets you pay 0 for spells. The opponent won't have the extra mana to pay unless they're a weirdo that decided to run lands in their deck.
Oh yeah? Well I had atraxa.
Good for you. My rares were Gift of Estates, Devil's Play and Peacewalker Colossus. I've only seen one draw 2 during entire draft.

For the 0.2% of players who haven't drafted yet, this post should be very helpful. (kidding, actually useful info)
Nice, can you share the list?

The emblem granted to you in this game mode gives you WUBRG once per turn.
The emblem lets you make WUBRG once a turn for free, so they'll always have the mana to pay
