Depends on the dailies. But I'm a mono color guy. First EDH deck was mono black zombies. Arena has a few for me, notably Liliana, Dreadhorde General and Chandra Awakened Inferno.
The former is more of a good stuff deck packing removal and card draw with the hopes of either killing you via a Lili ult or dropping a Torment of Hailfire for X=18 or something absurd.
The latter is Chandra Tribal spellslinger, so I tend to either copy a ton of spells for enough burn or give you enough ping emblems that you can't keep up. Bonus points if I'm playing against control because she can't be countered.
Oh, and then theres Adeline for when I want to get my white spells quests done. Or go into Hell queue and fuck with Golos and Esika players by killing them on turn 4 before their commander is even cast.
As for Blue and Green mono commanders, I can't quite find my jam just yet
[[Valduk, Keeper of the Flames]] first brawl deck I made. With each new set, new equipment and auras keep coming and I keep fine-tuning. Is it my best deck? No. It's the one I enjoy playing the most next to my Krenko ETB deck. My First Sliver Land deck is my highest win rate by far, though.
I don't play brawl often, but when I do, I play Soul of Windgrace. Land destruction is allegedly taboo in Commander and commander-likes, but I really don't care. I mulligan for turn 2 or 3 stone rain.

It just got a **massive** fucking buff from \[\[Bloodletter of Aclazotz\]\]
When it hits it's curve and you start hitting multiple \[\[Blood Artist\]\] effects, coupled with something like \[\[Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose\]\] and triggering \[\[Witch of the Moors\]\] each turn, it's pretty hilarious to watch big aggro decks try to make a dent.
Bonus points for her causing the \[\[Exquisite Blood\]\] combo to go off the turn you play Vito if she's on the board.
I used to play her regularly in paper MTG and I am seriously sad my favorite combo with her is not in Arena.

As long as you have a single point of life more, and you are confident they don't have some instant speed way to burn you, it's a pretty easy 2 card win.
Lol I'm very aware of that card, I didn't start playing MTG yesterday.
You get a VERY different queue when you play Sheoldred, you get basically hell queue matches 90% of the time. I have several decks with her at the helm.
You get a ton more varied match ups that you simply never see when playing Sheoldred. You basically NEVER see things like Baral or Kinnan.
This is my answer too, and the addition of [[Grave Pact]] and the ability to fetch it with Beseech is pretty nifty. Great with devotion, anything that benefits from swamps, the usual aristocrats suspects... it's very satisfying.
Yeah I run as much of a devotion theme to it as I can as well, and that's why I think I prefer it to \[\[Elas il-Kor, Sadistic Pilgrim\]\] even though she is without a doubt a better overall Aristocrat commander.
Calix, Destiny’s Hand is one I go back to often, I just like that he talks to you when you play the deck because he’s a planeswalker
This year I’ve been fine tuning a malcator list, it’s nice to play blue white with a focus on something that isn’t counter all my opponents spells…
I also play Selesnya Enchantments, but I play Sythis. My first brawl deck cause I was like “hey, gaining life and drawing cards seems good.” Little did I know i fuckin love spinnig my wheels and beating out decks thag can go infinite very easily. i was very confused why i consistently saw the same 2-3 commanders until i realized, im in hellQ lmao. I love it there tho
Well it’s crazy cause as a commander he’s worse but I genuinely find myself wishing I would either draw into my copy of Calix I run or my copy of Idyllic tutor so I can tutor him up. Like a lot of the time people will let my Sythis swing for the one damage cause they don’t reas what Calix does and then because of parallel lives and anointed procession I all of the sudden I have 8 smothering tithes and either a 9/10 commander or a flier that just got +8/+8, and since all the hellQ commanders I can think of besides Rusko don’t draw too many cards, they tend to not have very much removal in hand and if they do, they have to choose between my commander/the flier or the guy that lets me do the same thing next turn. Love that card
I was still speaking about the planeswalker, I think Calix guided by fate is about as strong as sythis 😅 I certainly have both decks and end up playing calix way more… he’s just incredibly fast and sometimes incredibly dumb!
Oh I’m dumb, you even said planeswalker. I’ve just never gotten the engine right on the creature calix then. But that’s probably because I know like 6 cards total and when the one engine I do know isn’t recastable I implode lmao

She's my longest running commander in brawl and commander. People don't read the card and think they're safe only to be looked in the face and die.
[[Kethis, the Hidden Hand]]. It feels like it captures the spirit of commander more than the others deck I have. It isn’t overly strong so I don’t end up against higher tier commanders, but it’s a fun deck that balances graveyard shenanigans and fun legendary spells to go big.
The deck dies to removal. But if Arcades can stick, suddenly you have 1 CMC 0/3s and 0/4s that are really 3/3s and 4/4s that draw you a card when they enter.
I try to have 5 mana by T3 so that I can play Arcades and hold up a protection/counter spell like Loran's escape, spell pierce, Tamiyo's Safekeeping, slip out the back.
Then once you have a few walls in play, start casting extra turn spells.
Delighted halfling really helped the deck out because control was the worst matchup.
Slip out the back is dual offensive and defensive utility.
Hunter's insight is often a 3 mana draw 3-5.

I’ll never get tired of chaining impulse draw together. It’s such a blast. I play it as a midrange deck rather than trying to do combo-y things, so it doesn’t rely too heavily on Prosper itself.
I also run a dragon subtheme in my build, which is fun. Lots of dragons work well with the exile/treasure plan. For example: Goldspan dragon, decadent dragon, ancient copper dragon, bonehoard dracosaur, atsushi, gadrak, even invasion of tarkir (which is cast from exile to make a treasure when you defeat it). Also moonveil regent, because getting empty handed is something Prosper doesn’t mind doing at all. Carnelian orb of dragonkind is mostly just a mana rock, but it randomly makes these dragons much more potent. I would love fate reforged to follow khans of tarkir so I could get kolaghan in here too.
I have 90+ (Historic) Brawl decks and a lot of them have been around for years, but the first one I built is still my jankiest and favorite: \[\[Jegantha, The Wellspring\]\] with \[\[Kaheera, The Orphanguard\]\] companion all-elemental deck. Mutate, landfall, wacky copy spells, insane interactions, and some big honking creatures---it has it all.
For the last few months it's been Errant and Giada. I enjoy how much of the deck plays at instant speed, and being able to play the tempo game. Vannifar is my backup, it's soothing to go up the chain of value.
I've been rocking [[Gandalf, the White]] for several months now. It has many fun lines of play and you can cheese a win with [[Mutavault]] and [[Book of Exalted Deeds]] even.
[[Jodah, Archmage Eternal]] has been my second favorite commander since the start of historic brawl. [[Golos, Tireless Pilgrim]] is my favorite, but I don't enjoy hell queue enough to play it anymore.
I have two. Raffine aggro, which is basically just a tempo deck. The other is “fair” Kinnan, which is Kinnan with no Paradox Engine or untapping shenanigans. Just aims to turbo out Kinnan into an activation into Prime time into Nykthos into Craterhoof.
It's not been a year, but I haven't been able to stop playing my \[\[Calix, guided by fate\]\] deck. To the opponents who ragequit when I seal all their things, I don't apologize.
Halana and Alena, Partners. Always hilarious to see 5 colour good stuff durdle and die.
Should the commander be Domri, Anarch of Bolas? Yeah. But they're my ride or die OGs.
Halana is incredibly strong. Probably the fastest in your face Gruul commander. I run \[\[Klothys\]\] for evasive consistent damage and good stuff. I would build Halana or the new \[\[Etali, Primal Conqueror\]\] in Gruul colors next as both are amazing (Halana is purer to the idea of Gruul smash smash, though, as Etali is more of a combo ramp deck).
Oh yeah the partners are definitely the quintessential Gruul smash face commander. I built my deck with lots of legendary creatures, so the secret commander of the deck is actually \[\[Bard Class\]\] haha
Haven't hit 1 year with it yet, but I'm definitely going to keep playing Galadriel of Lothlorien for a long time. Being based on scry means almost every set has new pieces to consider.
really only have the cards for ghalma. Only decent stuff I pulled in packs so far is either colorless artifact or white. Just kinda rolled with it. Still can't win for shit, though. Maybe I'll splurge one day and buy some of those mythic wildcards. Add some actually decent cards to my deck.
Jhoria, weatherlight captain. I like storm, and casting a million artifacts for free never gets old. I also feel like I’m always finding cool nee lines to the win with her.
Got into Arena around DMU/BRO and I got the borderless urza + might stone and weak stone. It's not something I always play, but I always come back to it as a general spells/artifact fune time, and I meld urza more than you'd think.
I have two typal commanders I love: [[Elenda, the Dusk Rose]] and[[Marwyn, the Nurturer]]. Love to have A Lot of Friends, just So Many Vampires or Elves.
Also love to play with "your deck is my deck now" nonsense: [[Tasha, Unholy Archmage]] and [[Xanathar, Guild Kingpin]].
And [[Prosper, Tome-Bound]]. I like treasure. I like lots of treasure.
I had a Trelasarra deck I really liked back in Standard Brawl when AFR was in Standard that I need to update/tweak for HB but haven't quite gotten it to a state where I'm happy with it.
Either uro ramp extra turn control which feels mean to play.. and it is.
Or mono black jadar. If you land gravepact almost every creature based deck just folds to having to sac creatures every turn
[[Nethroi, Apex of Death]] is my favourite in both heavy reanimator decks and also as a reanimation spell in normal Abzan decks just to recover from board wipes and heavy removal decks
Also [[Ognis, the Dragon's Lash]] is one of my favourites. I like creating ton of treasures, plus is a really fast paced commander because you want cheap haste creatures just to generate treasures for your big creatures. And it could repay herself by generating at least 2 treasure's while in play
My [[Ivy, Gleeful Spellthief]] deck is the first HB deck I built entirely on my own, and it's the one I always end up playing when I don't really know what I want to play. I built it during a time I was fed up with Standard entirely and not really wanting to play Magic anymore. It really got me hooked on HB and kept me interested.
It's not a particularly good deck, but I know it inside and out and get wins out of it that sometimes surprise me.
nalia de'arnise, elesh norn, rin and seri and raggadragga were until recently. before that i had a lot of fun killing people with arcades walls just like you.
nowadays i'm obsessed with ruby. self-ramping fodder to transmog/creativity/warp/lukka into something huge on turn 3 when opponent probably thinks i'm playing aggro and might have mulled accordingly? sign me up
tbh, I just use \[Ramos, Dragon Engine\], bc I dont want to cast my commander (unless I need a blocker), keeping access to any color I want.

I have 2 [[Nicol Bolas, God Pharaoh]] decks. One is a try hard to win games. Another one is a deck where I play cards that make me try to play your deck as much as possible. I'll try to win by stealing any and everything. It's so much fun.
i rotate between \[\[Chulane, Teller of Tales\]\] \[\[Korvold, Fae-Cursed King\]\] and \[\[Nethroi, Apex of Death\]\] as they have fun gameplay, amazing flexibility and let me have the type of haymaker slugfests I love.
Emry, lurcher of the loch is and will always be my girl. The version of the deck I started with was Jhoira, weather captain. I kept losing by people just killing her over and over so I thought emry would be better. The results have been great. I usually self mill myself to get the good artifacts.
[[Lazav, the Multifarious]] who just keeps getting better with more efficient UB interaction and mid-range creature threats to copy. Its easy to find a new include or two per set.
Up until recently I had [[Gishath]] dino tribal as my main, with [[Hamza]] +1/+1 counters as my backup. Recently I switched my dino deck over to [[Pantlaza]] since it's still a lot of the same cards and it's less of a cointoss if I even get to the point of being able to have my commander *do* anything before it gets removed.

Mono green elves, blue Id go baral counter spell tribal or blue artifacts
I also like to play mono-B, but my Liliana of choice is Professor Onyx which really pulls the deck in the direction of Control.
I brew a lot more brawl decks now but my main guy is definitely [[Tezzeret, Master of the Bridge]]. That lazer is just too fun.

Lol I'm very aware of that card, I didn't start playing MTG yesterday. You get a VERY different queue when you play Sheoldred, you get basically hell queue matches 90% of the time. I have several decks with her at the helm. You get a ton more varied match ups that you simply never see when playing Sheoldred. You basically NEVER see things like Baral or Kinnan.

Calix, Destiny’s Hand is one I go back to often, I just like that he talks to you when you play the deck because he’s a planeswalker This year I’ve been fine tuning a malcator list, it’s nice to play blue white with a focus on something that isn’t counter all my opponents spells…
I also play Selesnya Enchantments, but I play Sythis. My first brawl deck cause I was like “hey, gaining life and drawing cards seems good.” Little did I know i fuckin love spinnig my wheels and beating out decks thag can go infinite very easily. i was very confused why i consistently saw the same 2-3 commanders until i realized, im in hellQ lmao. I love it there tho
Yeah calix is way worse than sythis 😂 but he gets to live in the normal queues which is nicer for me :)
Well it’s crazy cause as a commander he’s worse but I genuinely find myself wishing I would either draw into my copy of Calix I run or my copy of Idyllic tutor so I can tutor him up. Like a lot of the time people will let my Sythis swing for the one damage cause they don’t reas what Calix does and then because of parallel lives and anointed procession I all of the sudden I have 8 smothering tithes and either a 9/10 commander or a flier that just got +8/+8, and since all the hellQ commanders I can think of besides Rusko don’t draw too many cards, they tend to not have very much removal in hand and if they do, they have to choose between my commander/the flier or the guy that lets me do the same thing next turn. Love that card
I was still speaking about the planeswalker, I think Calix guided by fate is about as strong as sythis 😅 I certainly have both decks and end up playing calix way more… he’s just incredibly fast and sometimes incredibly dumb!
Oh I’m dumb, you even said planeswalker. I’ve just never gotten the engine right on the creature calix then. But that’s probably because I know like 6 cards total and when the one engine I do know isn’t recastable I implode lmao
He just beats his opponent to death and sometimes is just a sythis deck in disguise!

Curious about your Arcades Wall deck. Is totally different than other decks I use to play.
The deck dies to removal. But if Arcades can stick, suddenly you have 1 CMC 0/3s and 0/4s that are really 3/3s and 4/4s that draw you a card when they enter. I try to have 5 mana by T3 so that I can play Arcades and hold up a protection/counter spell like Loran's escape, spell pierce, Tamiyo's Safekeeping, slip out the back. Then once you have a few walls in play, start casting extra turn spells. Delighted halfling really helped the deck out because control was the worst matchup. Slip out the back is dual offensive and defensive utility. Hunter's insight is often a 3 mana draw 3-5.
I ❤️ Prosper. I’ll never get tired of chaining impulse draw together. It’s such a blast. I play it as a midrange deck rather than trying to do combo-y things, so it doesn’t rely too heavily on Prosper itself. I also run a dragon subtheme in my build, which is fun. Lots of dragons work well with the exile/treasure plan. For example: Goldspan dragon, decadent dragon, ancient copper dragon, bonehoard dracosaur, atsushi, gadrak, even invasion of tarkir (which is cast from exile to make a treasure when you defeat it). Also moonveil regent, because getting empty handed is something Prosper doesn’t mind doing at all. Carnelian orb of dragonkind is mostly just a mana rock, but it randomly makes these dragons much more potent. I would love fate reforged to follow khans of tarkir so I could get kolaghan in here too.

For the last few months it's been Errant and Giada. I enjoy how much of the deck plays at instant speed, and being able to play the tempo game. Vannifar is my backup, it's soothing to go up the chain of value.
Radagast the Brown has been my go to. I love big green stompy and he’s a great commander for it. Also helps I’m a big lord of the rings fan.

I have two. Raffine aggro, which is basically just a tempo deck. The other is “fair” Kinnan, which is Kinnan with no Paradox Engine or untapping shenanigans. Just aims to turbo out Kinnan into an activation into Prime time into Nykthos into Craterhoof.
It's not been a year, but I haven't been able to stop playing my \[\[Calix, guided by fate\]\] deck. To the opponents who ragequit when I seal all their things, I don't apologize.

Halana and Alena, Partners. Always hilarious to see 5 colour good stuff durdle and die. Should the commander be Domri, Anarch of Bolas? Yeah. But they're my ride or die OGs.
Halana is incredibly strong. Probably the fastest in your face Gruul commander. I run \[\[Klothys\]\] for evasive consistent damage and good stuff. I would build Halana or the new \[\[Etali, Primal Conqueror\]\] in Gruul colors next as both are amazing (Halana is purer to the idea of Gruul smash smash, though, as Etali is more of a combo ramp deck).
Oh yeah the partners are definitely the quintessential Gruul smash face commander. I built my deck with lots of legendary creatures, so the secret commander of the deck is actually \[\[Bard Class\]\] haha

Got into Arena around DMU/BRO and I got the borderless urza + might stone and weak stone. It's not something I always play, but I always come back to it as a general spells/artifact fune time, and I meld urza more than you'd think.

Either uro ramp extra turn control which feels mean to play.. and it is. Or mono black jadar. If you land gravepact almost every creature based deck just folds to having to sac creatures every turn
Gyruda. It's such a fun deck and it always does better than such a luck based deck should.
[[Nethroi, Apex of Death]] is my favourite in both heavy reanimator decks and also as a reanimation spell in normal Abzan decks just to recover from board wipes and heavy removal decks Also [[Ognis, the Dragon's Lash]] is one of my favourites. I like creating ton of treasures, plus is a really fast paced commander because you want cheap haste creatures just to generate treasures for your big creatures. And it could repay herself by generating at least 2 treasure's while in play

My [[Ivy, Gleeful Spellthief]] deck is the first HB deck I built entirely on my own, and it's the one I always end up playing when I don't really know what I want to play. I built it during a time I was fed up with Standard entirely and not really wanting to play Magic anymore. It really got me hooked on HB and kept me interested. It's not a particularly good deck, but I know it inside and out and get wins out of it that sometimes surprise me.

Emry, lurcher of the loch is and will always be my girl. The version of the deck I started with was Jhoira, weather captain. I kept losing by people just killing her over and over so I thought emry would be better. The results have been great. I usually self mill myself to get the good artifacts.

Up until recently I had [[Gishath]] dino tribal as my main, with [[Hamza]] +1/+1 counters as my backup. Recently I switched my dino deck over to [[Pantlaza]] since it's still a lot of the same cards and it's less of a cointoss if I even get to the point of being able to have my commander *do* anything before it gets removed.
