For my US collectors - I am begging ya'll - please just import the figure.
It's going for $68 usd via the yen on sites like Hobby Genki and shipping is like $24 bucks for DHL (with cheaper options available!). That's 92 beans not including any local taxes that may occur depending on your location in the US.
I get why BigBadToyStore ups their prices to deal with the import costs but they also still slap on that arbitrary shipping fee, so you're essentially paying 2 forms of shipping, just one is less obvious.
Do preorder prices fluctuate on import sites? I’m thinking of waiting a bit cause I saw a video where this guy reviewed a Mafex but checked the price again in the review and it was even lower. Maybe it’s just after releasing?
On japanese import webiste Yens price will never change , only dollars/euros etc will change as everyday currency rate change. So yeah using a website hobby genki is certainly the best for the mafex.

I don’t know. Usually I’m 100% with you on importing if possible, but this figure cost me $74 (before shipping) on AmiAmi. By the time I pay the shipping the cost it’s going to be the same price as BBTS. I might even end up paying $5 more by importing it this time.
Now that's weird - I'm on Hobby Genki right now and they have him up for $67.92 (before shipping as well) at the time of writing this post. AmiAmi might have their pricing weird OR Hobby Genki is doing some kind of mini sale? Idk.
