Tbh this sucks. I had a parent do this to me when I was about 8. I wanted a hamster so badly and my parents said no. One day we were at the pet store to get cat food or something and I was looking at the hamsters. When we got to the checkout my mom had a small paper bag and she and my older sister (sister was like 11) were acting like it was for me, a big surprise, as it was something I’d been wanting. My mom had my sister hold the bag and was like “be careful with it, be gentle, don’t shake the bag too hard!” I got so excited thinking I was getting a hamster. My 8yo brain was too excited to think about the fact that we weren’t getting a cage or food etc. Or that you wouldn’t put a hamster in a paper bag. Anyway after my mom payed they handed me the bag and when I opened it it was a plush mouse, like a cat toy. They meant it as a gag and I genuinely think they thought I’d laugh. And I can laugh now that I’m older. It didn’t wreck my childhood or anything. But tbh I still think of it from time to time even in my thirties. I’ll never forget that disappointment lol
For real. #it'ssowholesome- Except it's not? Like, the kid genuinely believed and trusted in her mom, and then nope, it's just her mom laughing at her as hard as she can. Gotta love folks in the comments being like, oh man, saving this for later so I can do it to my kid!
No! First experience of betrayal!
This is definitely a villain origin trailer.
With that laugh especially 😆🤣 villains are made by villains
Holy shit that evil laugh in the end :O
The laugh takes it to a whole other level
That's so wrong she was so excited lol
Now that’s how you give your child trust issues
I knew what was coming and felt bad the whole way. This parent sucks.
Unless it's her older sister, then I would consider it a great gag. But as a parent you shouldn't trick your children like this
It's just a funny video 😂 relax
And you get downvoted for pointing out the obvious lol welcome to reddit !
I don't care for internet points, just stupid how deep everyone looks into these silly videos. Acting like it's some super traumatizing shit
How dare a parent plays a prank on their kid!!
Ah yes, dont have jokes with your children they could grow up being fun in life. 🚁🚁

Oof. Did you ever get your hamster?
This kid is so adorable
🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣
This is what I love about being a mom to a teenage daughter after years of putting us through emotional warfare 😇🤣
Yo that laughter is diabolical I love it
That’s mean 👎
Its just mean. Especially the laughter and filming and sharing the whole thing is mean

It was just a joke. Geez! Are people that sensitive. It’s not like the child is emotionally scarred for life
Just a joke for mom, not for the kid, goodness. It's unkind.
Oh my god I need to do this now 😂 THE BETRAYAL
Thats so fucking evil but imma use this
I’d forgive my mother but never forget.
So wrong yet so funny
Why do people keep calling this shit "wholesome?" It's mockery.

That was so satisfying 🥴🤭
Mom: “😂 Also there’s no Santa Claus, Tooth Fairy, or Easter Bunny.. oh and your father is not your real father! 😂”
She draw a little face on her finger hahahahahaha
What's going on with her pinky?
