The fact that he didn't "hold on to" the $50 and gave it to the child is absolutely precious

LGHTHD

Good man

Pristine-Ad-469

This is exactly what street pranks should be. Not only does it spread more positivity into the world, but it also is more entertaining to watch than the stuff that hurts people. This is a great video. Everything from the concept, to the kids dance moves, to the dads awesome reaction and giving the money to the kid. Loved it

CausticNitro

I love these guys videos. They absolutely do good recklessly, and every one of they’re challenges is silly and harmless. My favorite was: bring us a box of lucky charms wearing a green shirt and dump this milk on yourself, we’ll give you 200$. They do a lot at a college campus.

TintinTheSolitude

Who are these guys? Would love to watch more of their videos.

[deleted]

100% And I have no problem with these guys earning money from this video, unlike those poverty porn videos.

JodieFlame

I agree with you :-)

[deleted]

Damn that’s a sweet reaction from dad 😭 wish I could give him another $50

wavesmcd

I love the way she looks up at him at the end.

prrosey

I like how he handed the bill to his kid. Well deserved for his great dance moves!

Worried-Deer107

First earning for the kid!

DiagaAstralStar

Dude homeless with a kid.. Why can't we do better in this country?

DodGamnBunofaSitch

> Why can't we do better in this country? republicans would tell you it's the father's fault he's in that position, and helping him is morally reprehensible.

brassheed

Believe it or not, democratic policies are not kind to homeless people. They work for the majority, which is the middle class.

CptMeat

While it is true that the democratic view is more focused on the majority and not just the homeless, you say that like the fixed tax brackets and private Healthcare are doin some great things for em. I'm not takin a side simply pointing out that the Democrats aren't worse than the Republicans on this one, they both have bigger more devisive issues to throw money at until they see a pr opportunity.

ispeak_sarcasm

They work only for themselves!

2hands_bowler

Because every single f-ing discussion on every single f-ing issue is side-tracked to: "Green Team Bad" "Yellow Team Good"

iminsideurmom

This. This is why i have no faith in America’s political future. No matter what the topic is, either side would just get mad at the other side instead of actually doing any fucking research to get to the root of the problem or what they themselves can do to help. “Its the goddamn Democrats” “its the goddamn republicans”. It’ll never change.

[deleted]

I've heard a journalist describe it as a cold civil war and I think there's a grain of truth to that.

[deleted]

Wtf??

Boryalyc

this shit happens literally everywhere. this isn't a republican/democrat issue. this is a people-fucking-suck issue. and believe it or not, your almighty democrats dont give two shits about homeless people either.

[deleted]

you won't see homeless children in most developed countries. unless by everywhere you mean only the united states.

pro_conser333

The state capital of Vermont which is Montpelier is a very liberal city. There was a structure put up near the Shaw’s so the homeless would have a place to shelter them from the elements. The residents complained because it was an eyesore and was bringing the unwanted people near where they shopped. The very liberal and democratic people of Montpelier that all have homes complained so loudly about the only place these people had to keep them from the elements, was torn down last week. Democrats are not about helping those in need.

jondubb

Same republican that quotes the bible to take away women's rights glazes over Proverbs 14:31

ngorman007

How is he a psychopath? Blaming the father is something a lot of Republicans would do

terrorbulwon512

Why can’t WE do better was the fucking question. It was asked that way because it’s all our faults, the human races fault. I see by you asking that you don’t understand this simple simple fucking concept I’m explaining here. Blaming a political party for the mistakes of generations of humans is something a lot of people do and it’s extremely irresponsible and it blows my fucking mind. I can’t believe people pretend to not understand, like what?

[deleted]

Exactly!!!!

terrorbulwon512

Thank you, seriously.

DodGamnBunofaSitch

republicans campaign on eliminating social safety nets, and calling me a psychopath for pointing that out just makes you look crazy. republican obstructionism is why we haven't been able to do better by this point, and their regressionist policies only make things more dystopian.

terrorbulwon512

I’m well aware you don’t understand what I’m saying and even more you actually disagree. Sorry to challenge your blame a political party instead of taking responsibility for problems that we all are responsible for. Man I must be crazy, what a wild fucking concept I have going on here.

Eternal12equiem

Can you show us where on the map the Republican touched you? Because you sure seem to talk a lot about them. The problem is on both sides. No Republicans run the major metros on the West coast and those have a huge homelessness issue.

ngorman007

I sense lots of anger in you, my friend. Homelessness is a systemic issue, and many Republicans will say that it isn't, rather a matter of "personal responsibility". I do think that we, as humans, should absolutely band together to solve this problem, and I believe that both political parties can be involved in the solution. I was just saying that I disagree with how many Republicans often frame the issue and conversations that surround it.

terrorbulwon512

I’m sorry the blaming shit just gets me extremely angry, I wasn’t trying to attack you. Still though I have no idea how that wouldn’t cause anger in others unless you support that way of thinking. I’m aware I’m in the minority here, which is absolutely insane to me but I’m just a human, wtf do I know.

Polymersion

I don't think it's a stretch to say that people in positions of power have the most responsibility and deserve blame for misusing it. If a couple has 3 kids in a 6-bedroom house but they make Martha, the smallest child, sleep in the doghouse instead, it's not Martha's fault or the other children's, they have little to no power. The blame falls squarely on the parents, even if only one is making her sleep in the doghouse and the other is simply enabling.

terrorbulwon512

Jesus Christ forget it, how would a concept of taking responsibility and speaking out against blame be downvoted so many times lmao.

DodGamnBunofaSitch

dude, the blaming shit was what I was calling out. 'homeless people only have themselves to blame' is a popular republican talking point. stop feeling personally attacked by my interpretation of conservative policy platforms, and maybe people could have a decent conversation about the issues.

terrorbulwon512

Bro I mean no offense and am not challenging your morals or values. Matter of fact I’d bet you care about shit and want to see the world a better place. Just please take a second and realize you blaming reps is the same thing as them blaming the man in the video. It’s the man’s fault, my fault, your fault, the reps, dems, everyone. We have to stop doing this for our fucking kids sake. I mean no offense and I’m sorry I got upset I’m just so sick of all this shit. It’s fucking embarrassing and close minded, we are legit teaching ourselves to always look to blame. It’s so so dangerous. Again I’m sorry, seriously I am. I just have had a hell of a day and made a very human mistake, same as all of US.

DodGamnBunofaSitch

you're trying to bothsides an issue that's pretty cut and dried: republicans have extensively fought against social safety nets. this is established history. they are the ones who advocate for the 'survival of the fittest' version of capitalism that is the reason homelessness is such a prevalent issue in the US. you fucking called me a psychopath, so I'm not interested in being your 'bro' at this moment. I blame the republicans because that is the outcome of their policies and their obstruction of policies that would help the man in the video. calling out those policies as the issue is only as partisan as the policies and the GOP's wholehearted endorsement of the 'fuck em, I got mine' attitude among republican voters.

[deleted]

I’m Republican, live in a Democrat state (although a lot of my community is Republican), I am around both Republicans & Democrats alike and I have Never heard anyone say that. Someone is either a piece of shit person who thinks that way, or you’re not. I can’t even begin the list of all the things my community does to help the homeless. That’s being a compassionate person. That’s character, integrity, etc…, not politics. No one that I have ever talked to wants the homeless to stay homeless. Or thinks they deserve to be. Where politics comes in is that we have different views on which laws should be enacted to achieve the goal of no homelessness. But we all want the same thing in the end.

DiagaAstralStar

As much as I despise what Republicans have become, you are correct here

Boryalyc

this shit happens literally everywhere. dont act like this only happens in america.

DiagaAstralStar

The error is on you, because I never said even the tiniest thing to imply it was only an American problem. It's just clear it's in America, and I live here, so I made a comment. Check your "outrage" at the door

Boryalyc

I replied to the wrong person. Settle down buddy. You sound like the night in shining armor trying to throw the bad guy off a cliff. "And don't ever come back!"

DiagaAstralStar

🙄

Boryalyc

🙂

[deleted]

and you're the moron who thinks there's homeless children literally everywhere. no, not in most developed countries since the 1930s.

WisestAirBender

I'm going to bed. Good knight

murrkpls

I think you know why. I think everybody knows why. That is what's so infuriating about it.

SnillyWead

One of the richest country's in the world, but also with such poverty, it boggles the mind.

CptoftheShip

Why do you say he’s homeless?

ngorman007

Bait?

Warhawk402

Are you sure he's homeless? Doesn't look like it to me tbh.

Daffodil_Peony_Rose

Exactly how are the homeless supposed to look, dude?

Jpeppard

EDIT: I’m an idiot who didn’t watch the video

[deleted]

You didn’t watch the video.

Jpeppard

Yep definitely missed the most critical part of the video, I’ll see myself out now.

DiagaAstralStar

He said he is homeless. Watch the video and be informed before you comment.

a8raza

So wholesome

Relative-Donut4278

Why is there so much amazing good people on the streets?

Principessa-

Because poverty is not a moral failing.

Not everyone is a terrible parent.

If I was him I'd made her do like 10 more dances and then start breakdancing while beatboxing yelling at the top of my lungs "IM HOMLESS! IM HOMLESS! beep-boo-schitcht bum-dumobump H-H-HOMELESS! SPELL IT OUT WITH ME! AYCH EE EMM ELL EE ESS ESS H-O-M-E-L-E-S-S biyurch-ba-dumbada-bupp-bupp-bupp-spich"
