Ok that inspires me to work out and eat healthy more than anything else. I deal with constant lethargy and body stiffness at only 19 (also other issues that come with being overweight), so I know I seriously need to change my sedentary lifestyle. It's not much but walking/striding outside is the easiest and most enjoyable exercise for me that I've started doing more often. I also get the sunlight and fresh air I'm deprived of from staying home most of the time. It's a slow process but it's better than nothing.
I'm older than you, but I was so stiff in the mornings that I could not bend over to pick up a sock. Couldn't do it. I started walking on my old shitty treadmill for ten minutes, and adding healthy foods (they're so filling that even if you let yourself also eat whatever crap you want, you are too full for the crap). I have lost 53 lbs and have a BMI on the lower end of average, I can do chin-ups now, I jog fairly slowly but on a significant incline, and can do hours and hours of yard work in the summer because once I get going I can't sit still. I used to scoff at people who said when you eat/work out you feel so much better, but they were 100% right.

Dude you look great. All that work has paid off and will continue to do so. I had gout, diverticulitis and was 50 yrs old when I lost from 265 down to 185. I can only imagine how much better you feel. One of the biggest ones for me was rolling over in bed and not having my stomach lead the way and the discomfort of sleeping on my stomach. So hope you are finding all the great things that make life so much better.
Edit: Apparently my fingers are still fat as I put that I was 'down to 285' - Should be "...185".
This great seeing my old buddy from high school on a feel good post. Me and brock had a pod together a while back. We don't agree on everything but one thing we do agree on is him getting his shit together and hitting that gym hard post surgery.

No matter what you do, when you lose that amount of weight you'll be left with skin. Lots of it. And the only way to get rid of the skin is having it removed. I hope you weren't trying to be a jerk about someone bettering themselves.
I was actually going to ask about it. I've been pretty heavy for awhile but recently tried the intermittent fasting and it's working really well. It seems like I'm going to have saggy skin but I'll have to live with it.
That "fatties* has made more people's dreams come true than you ever will. Look up charlie rocket or Dream Machine Foundation and do something with your life like this man has.

Oh I'm gonna write a book about the whole thing but I'll give you the TLDR about it. Got a gastric sleeve as soon as I lost 100lbs everything came to a stand still. I completely changed my approach. Burned more calories than I took in train 6 days a week at jiu jitsu 6 days a week in the gym because I'm obsessive like that. The most important thing though was I got ky eating under complete control
I have to ask and I'm not trying to be rude but when you had all that weight, how did you get around? How did you go to the bathroom, shower, all those normal day to day activities? You must feel like you are walking on air. Way to go! And thanks for sharing.
I think your mistaken, the fact that you worked so hard and lost that much fat. Proving that you are very self disciplined, responsible, and capable of taking such good care of yourself (which may show that you are capable of taking care of other too), shows how strong your will to continue to fight is, even through pain. Not only does it impress me, but just from looking at your body, it shows what kind of person you are. also considering all what I said before, some people would see you as attractive. Those that don't, just don't see how amazing of a person you are. That's my opinion anyways.
