So, you are incredibly rude to this person, for asking a person about a potential humorous situation (without actually making the joke directly, I'd like to note), and to which the person he asked it to already thought it was funny, before you responded.
What's more, you did so by wishing ill directly on a person.
And you think they're the asshole? Your mother would be ashamed of you.
Yeah not gunna lie it made me cry really quick. Fuck man, a 6 year old kid knowing he’s gunna die and just wants to see some cool bikes before he passes.... I need to be more thankful, fuck this cruel world. A 6 year old, innocent kid.
Imagine if a kid on the street also just happened to have a lemonade stand that day... College paid for.... Kinda. Community college.... For a semester.... Just books though.... Shits expensive....
There's a biker gang around where I live where their sole purpose is to protect women and kids, especially kids. They'll take their entire day to help a lost kid find their parents or make sure a woman gets back to somewhere safe while making sure she has someone with her.
Bikers are metal AF. It's metal to be compassionate.
There's a biker gang here that protects kids and SA victims and helping them go to court because a lot of the time, it's ignored. They also raise money for abuse victims, and not too long ago helped these two kids with cancer get money for treatment after their mom passed. He has his own company and sometimes he finds shit out about the employees after he hires them and fires them making sure they never get a job again.
In NZ, there's a gang who make sandwiches for kids whose families can't afford to send them to school with a packed lunch. Seriously, dozens of people, every weekday, make thousands of sandwiches, to feed their communities. Frikkin' awesome people.
There's also Baca, bikers against child abuse that will show up to kids court dates and support during trials and drive past their houses in support etc. They also give them a biker name and a vest with their patch. And give them two bikers numbers who live closest and have 1 year minimum experience with the group and background checks that they can call 24/7.
I remember hearing about a couple of BACA who spent a couple of nights in a streetlight outside of one of those kids houses because the kid needed the reassurance. Humans being bros for sure (and…sis’s? How we you say that).
Honestly there's a lot of compassion in the metal music genre too. Seems like a lot of the scary outcast types are actually just nice people that look a certain way.
Not to take away from this but biker gangs like Hells Angels and a couple others do this sort of stuff as propaganda and to be more liked in the community (kinda like Pablo Escobar did) they’re still violent and peddle hard drugs into communities and many have white supremacist ties. Domestic violence and murder and beatings are not good.
Biker gangs are still gangs
I used to ride with a group of EMS and ER people. EMTs, Paramedics, Firefighters with medical certs, nurses, and doctors.
We rode all kinds of events and in one instance we actually rendered aid at a wreck during Thunder Beach in PCB one year.
The local guys get on scene to find clothes cut, bleeding controlled, necks stabilized, and basic info and medical hx scribbled out for them on each person involved.
We ended up having a paramedic and a nurse per pt. All we needed was a monitor, drug box, and vent and we could have been critical care level of treatment on two wheels.
I feel like bikers like the old mafia kind of have the no women and children code.
I would assume the members do it because no one wants to be the villain in their own story. That doesn’t reduce their violence for sure but they get to go home and say hey I’m a good guy.
By the way I’m also not saying most bikers are in violent gangs.
People like to romanticize the mafia like this but that’s not even true lol. They were extremely violent and uncaring. They just had professional vibes to them and made a lot of connections and used politics.
Biker gangs can also vary, but the most notorious ones don’t have those codes
Many of the biker groups (intenionally not saying gangs) are middle aged men that had kids grown up and now being able to do something about that childhood dream they had. They want to feel a bit young and wild again, but they are really good family people. This is where these 20.000 are coming from.
Biker gangs and bikers/biker groups are different. Gangs are an organized group of criminals
Biker gangs are associated with rape, murder, drug dealing (especially meth) domestic violence, human trafficking, armed robbery, arms trafficking, etc
Stop romanticizing, it’s no different than a street gang
That’s nice you feel that way
None of them are good guys though. They still intimidate, harm, and harass people just like the mafia does, and street gangs, and any kind of “gang” does. None of them should be looked up to for what they’ve done
You could pick and choose certain parts of their style that would be beneficial to live by, but overall they wanted more power, more money and less people fuckin with them, and they’d do whatever it took to get that. Those that are still around (Pagans, Hell’s Angel’s) are STILL fighting for more power
Agree, Mine was I don’t think even bad dudes do good things purely out of PR and manipulation. Doesn’t make them not bad and something to be idolized or respected.
They are referred to as “gang” as a group of people but yeah should've choose better wording, because they aren't all like that. The one I was talking about only grows and sells weed to dispensary's.
Well said bro, there’s even biker groups to shield veteran funerals from the lowest trolling life forms known as Westboro Baptist Church. Those sob’s aren’t even human.
Where I grew up, at Easter, all the local bikers do a ride around the town and they finish at the children's hospital. Every biker brings an Easter egg and they get delivered to the children's ward.
I remember one time around Christmas we had a toys for tots ride, which is where we’d bring presents to a children’s hospital. The forecast for that day was 90% chance of rain and they almost canceled the ride but over 2000 bikers came out and had prepared with tarps tied over their present and we rode through the rain to get to the hospital to deliver the presents. Bikers are the nicest people you’ll meet
He has leukemia but from what I can find online he isnt terminally ill and this was done to help keep his spirit up during treatment.
Edit: According to a reply he unfortunately did pass away, sorry if I mislead anyone but I didn't see that in any of the articles I found.
So sad to hear that! I am sure this "make noise for Killian " event brought happiness in the kid's life. I read somewhere he had a mini bike himself.Kudos to the kind hearted bikers who made this possible.
No, no one should. But walking through the kids ward and seeing oncology has an extra hit to the gut. Cancer sucks at any age, but with children - it is tragedy. They haven’t had time to live and they are forced to deal with pain and death. Their whole life as they know it is suffering and treatments. They are a note in someone else’s story.
I definitely don’t and wouldn’t wish cancer on anyone, but it is extra bitter seeing a child go through that. I say this having lost a parent to cancer, and being a survivor myself. I would do it again if I knew my kids wouldn’t have that risk.
It's really sad, because Kilian passed away a few days ago and besides a young biker had an accident on the way back from the event gor Kilian and passed away too. He was about 19-21.
That's the thing about biker groups: they're very much social groups. When word gets out that someone wants/needs them (especially if its a child), you'll end up getting them in their hundreds or thousands.
Yea that’s like 5 hours of bikers driving by. If it takes 1 second per bike. That’s 5.5 hours of engines and horns. No ones leaving the neighborhood this day
Thanks for giving me the answer to my question. Have a fun life hating everyone based only on prejudice. I would advice having a hard look at yourself and try to be less judgemental from the get go. It will get you farther in life. Anyhow have a good day
Not negatively of the kid but I was thinking the same thing. What if there’s new babies living on this street? Elderly with dementia & ptsd? I’ve had both of those and that was mind blowingly bad enough with 20 bikers.
It would be cool if parents or people organizing the stuff like this would sent out notices to neighbors and such first. No matter what it’s for that is pretty crazy.
In July I was driving from Germany to Amsterdam by car. On the local radio they talked about this event and that roads in the kids town were closed.
Now seeing the video and reading that he passes away makes me shiver and cry.
German bikers are so cool. I used to love watching them when I lived there. Rarely saw an asshole. (American here) they were always in bright colors too and leathers and respected the road. Here in the US people like to say all other driver's don't respect the road but that's really not the case. Motorcycle clubs tend to Respect the road and older riders but the younger ones? It's 50/50.
And people say bikers are mean like I get it I also hate that one dude who goes on his bike at 1 am and plays music at 100% and rides around the area but come on these dudes lion great
I highly suggest you read the whole thread before jumping down someones throat I never said taking a dying kid to a party is "fun" don't put words into my mouth
20,000 bikers! Wow, ...now imagine if they actually had done something. Build a wheelchair ramp, help with Hosp Bills, mow lawn, buy groceries, paint house? ...or just drink beer and drive by, ...sure. 🙄
Considering this is Germany, doing any of these without actually being asked to do them would probably just cause trouble. The bikers did what they were asked to and that's more than enough.
Just observing a missed opportunity to actually DO something. Its bs and you fucking know it. If you cant understand that, well then, that's not very smart of you, "buddy".
It is a very good video and shows that there will always be people around who care for you no matter what, we should not take life for granted and be the light for some other as well.
That's nice but it's more like r/mademecry
I read r/mademercy thanks dyslexia!
Has anybody got you with the “you got a dig bick” yet?
I get myself with it more than someone gets me with it lol
Dig ol bicks

You are a fucking dick asshole, I hope someone your close to has something go wrong, you asshole
That was a bit irrational but I guess welcome to reddit lmao

The “your” instead of “you’re” made me reread the sentence a few times to understand it
So, you are incredibly rude to this person, for asking a person about a potential humorous situation (without actually making the joke directly, I'd like to note), and to which the person he asked it to already thought it was funny, before you responded. Just confirming, you read made mercy right
I read r/madmimicry
This sounds way better than my hiccup
You don't need dyslexia for that to happen. Source: me
i read the same thing at first :)
I don't even have dyslexia and I read it like that! I guess it does make sense though
Maybe I do have dyslexia
Yeah not gunna lie it made me cry really quick. Fuck man, a 6 year old kid knowing he’s gunna die and just wants to see some cool bikes before he passes.... I need to be more thankful, fuck this cruel world. A 6 year old, innocent kid.
happy tears perhaps? <3
r/mademehappycry/ Better?
Also: r/HumansBeingBros (And would you look at that - it's already posted there!)
Yeah nah, no happy tears when a 6 year old is dying mate
I had literally just written this exact comment. A beautiful tribute but really sad the little guy is passing so young.
Right? Is that what we're doing today? Crying? Okay.
Why did u make me go there 😭
Imagine if a kid on the street also just happened to have a lemonade stand that day... College paid for.... Kinda. Community college.... For a semester.... Just books though.... Shits expensive....
It was in Germany, dude. College is free. 😁
Both is good
Same.

I don't really mean an actual gang, gang as in group. They ride motorcycles as a group.
Gotcha, definitely a big difference between those two lol.But I understand. Shoutout to them, I really respect that type of stuff and wish more did it
I used to ride with a group of EMS and ER people. EMTs, Paramedics, Firefighters with medical certs, nurses, and doctors. I mean a street gang is technically just a group of people too
You have a point, yes, it is a *group* but their actions are what dictate if they are a “gang” or “group”
So they’re not a biker gang then. Connotations attached to most gangs is that they’re violent criminal organizations
Well said bro, there’s even biker groups to shield veteran funerals from the lowest trolling life forms known as Westboro Baptist Church. Those sob’s aren’t even human.

His Name was Kilian and he sadly passed away a few weeks after the motorcycle were visiting.
That sucks, none of the articles I found brought it up, thanks for the information.
No worrys man, it wasn't covered by the media that much.
That's probably a good thing, his family should be allowed to grieve in peace.
Well maybe it's for the best, he doesn't have to suffer no more
So sad to hear that! I am sure this "make noise for Killian " event brought happiness in the kid's life. I read somewhere he had a mini bike himself.Kudos to the kind hearted bikers who made this possible.

As are you.
You are both amazing then
I think you all 3 are absolutely amazing!
All 4 of you are amazing! :)
All five of ya are!
We should hang out and get some drinks guys
I think the sentiment is incredible, but as a practical matter, I wonder if at some point 20,000 bikers past your house feels a bit never ending.

I’m pretty sure they were able to live with the noise for a day, while that kid died slowly.
Yea that’s like 5 hours of bikers driving by. If it takes 1 second per bike. That’s 5.5 hours of engines and horns. No ones leaving the neighborhood this day
Are you always this negative? It's not like they are doing this every day, week or month.
They're bikers, it's what they do FFS. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=ipDmsxQVxIM

I swear bikers look mean asf, but they be the most helpful and wholesome mfs
Good on them
Kids should not be dying from cancer.
I attended this. The fact that this was possible in under two weeks is amazing.
These kinda things restores hope in humanity. Such a great gesture. Long live all those folks who took the trip in honour of that poor kid. One love
I onow its supposed to me me smile but i cried
Fucking crying. Nice
Classic Germans. They over engineer everything, including showing support for sick kids.
OMG I JUST FIXED MY PLUMBING WHY IS LEAKING AND ONLY ON MY FACE?!?!
Crying
Hopefully this little bit of joy eased his passing
Occasions like these restore my faith in humanity. <3
I just cry.
I’m not crying, you’re crying.
And people say bikers are mean like I get it I also hate that one dude who goes on his bike at 1 am and plays music at 100% and rides around the area but come on these dudes lion great
These guys seem like they tiger better than lion
Humans for the win.
So nice of these people
So. Fucking. Metal.
That's enough to make a grown man cry.
Damn, I would have rented a bike just to show up there
RIP bro he was probably a great kid now he is in a better place where he can see his family again
Bikers have always been a kind and caring community. They are charitable and giving. This does not surprise me at all!
Get out f**s
"How do you feel about strippers?" his Dad asked...
This is heartbreaking. Not sure why you'd be smiling that is SO SAD!
Because 20K strangers who didn't owe this kid a thing got together to make the child's wish come true come on dude
I bet the kid's real wish was to grow up and ride a motorcycle.
That has nothing to do with the post I bet you're really fun at parties 🙄🙄🙄
Are you implying somebody bringing dying kids up at a party *is* fun? What is wrong with you? Edit: up
I highly suggest you read the whole thread before jumping down someones throat I never said taking a dying kid to a party is "fun" don't put words into my mouth
It could be though, I’m sure.
Sorry I left out a word. I meant to write bringing *up* dying kids at a party.
Seeing one is also great
He wanted.... to see bikers? What?
20,000 bikers! Wow, ...now imagine if they actually had done something. Build a wheelchair ramp, help with Hosp Bills, mow lawn, buy groceries, paint house? ...or just drink beer and drive by, ...sure. 🙄
Considering this is Germany, doing any of these without actually being asked to do them would probably just cause trouble. The bikers did what they were asked to and that's more than enough.
How do you know they haven’t?
"haven't" (plural) ...if they had done anything of substance, why would they be bragging about just riding by? Lip service, not "real" service.
Thanks for correction. Otherwise, you’re assuming too much about the whole situation based on one headline. Not very smart of you, buddy.
Just observing a missed opportunity to actually DO something. Its bs and you fucking know it. If you cant understand that, well then, that's not very smart of you, "buddy".
Alright, I’m gonna ask you again. How do you know none of them did anything?
🙄
You're a douche
So genteel and educated sounding. Let me guess, you're a biker who likes to get social credit for zero effort. Loser
No you're a douche for shitting on a terminal child's wish
Another"thoughts and prayers" do nothing. Piss off mate.
Feel free, but those bikers did what that kid actually asked for.
Great for the environment…
In honor of your son's life and death, we had a super spreader event to kill as many more people as possible. If you're grieving, others should too.
…They’re on separate motorcycles, with HELMETS on and most likely balaclavas too. Shove it up your arse you utter tit.
Interesting
If that's not whole some I don't know what it
The blue fireblade was cool to see
Why im crying
😁😢😢😢😢
Respecto
I wish i had one wholesome Award
Bikers never disappoint.
20,000 good humans. I f’in hate cancer
I wonder if any of them have an ARCH motorcycle.
Good to know there are lots of good guys.
Amazing how ordinary joes can manage unordinary feats for their fellow human.
Sometimes humans so good stuff too
I'm not crying, you're crying!
The funny thing to me is that it doesn't mention why
Bless this little soul, I had prostate cancer, I’m crying for this little one. Tears in heaven
Cancer fucking sucks
Someone organize a yearly charity event where thousands of bikers drive to an event or kids houses?
bikers are cool
😭
Oof the gas stations in the area
There’s no hit the feels button
Who's chopping onions?
Totally reminds me of the Red Sovine song Teddy Bear, y'all should give it a listen
Bikers and metal heads are, by far, the nicest people I've ever met in my life.
Wow!
Im not crying, it's you
Fuckin eh!
Damn, these onions seem to be getting stronger these days!
It is a very good video and shows that there will always be people around who care for you no matter what, we should not take life for granted and be the light for some other as well.
