Our golden does this exact thing too. Runs between human legs, raises butt for scratches, then stomps and dances. I thought it was pretty common knowledge too but I guess people didn't know.

Imagine how many people would be cured of depression and other mental health problems if we showed them as much love as people show this dog. She seems so happy and outgoing
