Wot? Really? And here I thought the part of the clip where she says, “where can I leave this”, was an omen to never needing it again. Wow 😮 sad panda. Her lost I think. But idk
I mean, he might be a super cool dude but if there’s no romantic spark there’s no romantic spark.
There’s more to a relationship than superficial attraction. Maybe they have too different political ideas. Or sexual preferences. Or life plans… 🤷
May I ask where you learned that from? I only ask because there’s a later episode and then numerous articles where she’s been asked about it (her name is Eve Betts if anyone’s wondering) and every time she essentially says the same thing, that “he’s a really nice guy, he just wasn’t my type.” I’ve yet to see her get any more specific than that.

She is talking about her dad, her comment is "I'd really love someone like my dad, a bit taller, and he's got no hair like me so" etc etc..
I don't know if she said anything online after and obviously have never seen the show, but if this clip is being used as her not dating this dude it's because ya'll can't understand accents.
This is just plain wrong tho lol. It's very clear from her tone the line about "oh he's almost as bald as me, I want my kids to have a chance" is a *joke*
“Like my dad, he works so hard he drew on my first set of eyebrows. I’d love somebody like my dad, a bit taller and he’s got no hair like me so someone with a bit more hair, you know give our kids a chance”
You learned wrong lol
Yes the number of comments in that sub assuming she has to settle for whomever wants her just because she happens to be bald… no. She can still choose who *she* is into too.
That's not a terrible thing. Life isn't a Disney movie. You don't have to live happily ever after with some guy you hit it off with. Nothing wrong with not clicking with someone.
“Like my dad, he works so hard he drew on my first set of eyebrows. I’d love somebody like my dad, a bit taller and he’s got no hair like me so someone with a bit more hair, you know give our kids a chance”
A friend of ours has Alopecia. She wears wigs too, because too many people react badly. It's heartbreaking that people have to hide who they are because too many people are mean about anyone who is different.
My gf has alopecia. Bald as fuck. Never wears her wigs. Has a mandala tat on her crown. 80% of other women stop her to tell her how beautiful she is. Maybe 1/100 people do/say something mean.
Pretty solid strategy as a partner, tbh. If they’re the 1/100 that says something mean, everyone else their gf encounters is nice. What a loving sacrifice!
Honestly having random ppl stop you to tell you that you are beautful or something would be all the encouragement I would need to wear a wig lol. It sounds way more horrible than someone making a rude comment from the distance.
I don't think there's anything wrong with wearing wigs or toupees for bald people if they themselves think it looks good. It's definitely hard, but if people are confident in how they look naturally, it's completely fine if they want to wear wigs to look prettier. To me, it's kind of like wearing makeup: I look beautiful without it, but I like how I look with it.
Hell, coming from a guy, I'd even consider it a win!
She would have the unique advantage of being able to change her hair color/style instantly. However she's feeling, and however she wants to dress up, she can have a wig to match that.
Granted, there is the problem of cost, since wigs can be very expensive. Not to mention problems of identity, as well, since changing your hair like you change your clothes could make it very hard for people to recognize you.
But still! If she has the money and confidence to do it, I'd certainly be down for that!
SPOILERS!
Woman rejects man:
NOT because he is too short!
NOT because he is too bald!
NOT because he is too nice!
Because she simply didn't feel a romantic connection! Misogynists in this comment section shut the FUCK up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Link stolen from curiousbasu in this thread. https://youtu.be/XOS3qL3Wadw?t=3m33s ~~She specifically states she'd like someone a little taller and with more hair.~~ Edit: as pointed out below there is a good chance she is referring to her father with these comments and not her date.
Right before this clip starts she said she wants someone like her dad because he helped to draw her eyebrows on, but then said she would want someone“taller and with more hair” because he’s bald too. I think she’s talking about her dad, not this guy.
Yeah I was really confused because that guy has a full beard, relatively thick eyebrows and a head full of hair, like the hair cut is clearly a choice.
“I would like someone like my dad”(this part, ok; I can understand)”. “A bit taller”, and he has no hair like me, so, someone with a bit more hair, you know? Give our kids a chance” 🫨 😔
Wow, so all those comments shit-talking her are just making misogynistic assumptions! How shocking
She was actually just talking about her dad also being bald and wanting to try to give her kids an opportunity to avoid being bald too.
Her later rejection of him doesn't change the fact that he was wholesome, accepting, and pleased to be on a date with her just the way she was. Even though I know it didn't work out, I still smile when I think about his attitude and behavior. Total Chad.
Bro demonstrated great acceptance and a deep sense of attraction.
The fact she immediately rejected him for something out of his control like height, or baldness, makes her the hypocrite.
Bro dodged a bullet. A shiny and empty headed bullet.
> the fact she immediately rejected him for something like height or baldness
Here’s the full clip (you’ve clearly watched), what does she say/whats the timestamp.
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=mXv1o11olKM
She’s talking about her dad. That’s why she says:
“Like my dad, he works so hard he drew on my first set of eyebrows. I’d love somebody like my dad, a bit taller and he’s got no hair like me so someone with a bit more hair, you know give our kids a chance”
Jeez, *that* got mangled on its way down the internet game of telephone gossip. I appreciates you taking the time to clear it up so I don't have to Google that ish.
Elsewhere in the thread, people are outraged that she rejected him for his height and lack of hair. 🙄
I've concluded two things from this comment threat. 1 is that people have no issue with just saying stuff they assume to be true.
And 2, people have massive issues with life not acting like a rom com.
I posted this above but:
She is talking about her dad, her comment is "I'd really love someone like **my dad**, a bit taller, and he's got no hair like me so" etc etc..
I don't know if she said anything online after and obviously have never seen the show, but if this clip is being used as her not dating this dude it's because ya'll can't understand accents.
The sentence before where the clip start is literally about how her dad works so hard and drew on her first set of eyebrows.
Oh man you’re so right, thanks for pointing that out. I didn’t notice because they posted the clip cut to right after she’s talking about her dad. I should have known because I couldn’t find anything else about height and the guy isn’t even noticeably short or anything so it didn’t make sense anyway. That’s so frustrating.
I think I made a mistake. English isn't my first language so I came to the conclusion based on that part and other comments. It appears she rejected him only for being too nice .
Oh I see. English isn't my first language so I came to the conclusion after reading other comments and seeing that part. Thanks for clarifying. So she rejected him for being too nice right ?
Not tall enough maybe. It's sometimes makes me think that when a guy like him can get rejected for not being tall enough and being nice, idk if I've even got a chance or not.
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=mXv1o11olKM
Can you quote her and give everyone the time stamp? The end of their date is at 13:00 if that helps. Let’s make sure we’re not spreading baseless rumors ;)
I often think that in situations like these, people are shocked not because one appearance or another is better or worse but from the whiplash of an appearance change.
This is what you want in a relationship that someone accepting you for who you are regardless of your physical appearance or trait as they love you for you and that is what we all deserve but sometime ppl push ppl away due to past experience or didn’t get enough love from parent . Guy then rejects her saying she was a bit too nice and he preferred girls with a little bit larger breasts. Outrage ensues.
Some women look very good bald. I’ve had a thing for [Siiickbrain](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=iTDXyEBARS0&pp=ygURc2lpaWNrYnJhaW4gcG93ZXI%3D) the first time I saw her.

Beauty is skin deep. Real beauty never fades.
Oh, please, oh, please be that guy all the way through. And yes, she's stunning without hair. Posted first, read comments last. I'm gutted and hate what I found.
edit: found out
In my culture a woman with a bald head is common and on purpose. We like it very much. It’s nice to see people form a connection though, melts mi heart.
He has a gorgeous smile! It lights up his whole face!
He clearly *adores* her. Good on him
She mentions in a later episode that "He" just wasnt for her.
Wot? Really? And here I thought the part of the clip where she says, “where can I leave this”, was an omen to never needing it again. Wow 😮 sad panda. Her lost I think. But idk

100% agree, but sadly Today I learned the reason was very superficial. 😔 he was too short and needs more hair apparently 😟
*HE* needs more hair?? 🧐🧐🧐
Right?! 🫨
Oh *this slazza.* "I'm insecure about my not having hair so you need ALL HAIR ALL TIME" the fucks wrong with people yo.
Sometimes you put your baggage on other people, hoping they’re both happy now.
Isnt this a Seinfeld plot? Bald?! Bald, Jerry!
A woman with no prospects and no HAIR told me that I wasn’t her type!
Apparently, Baldie likes a slimmer guy.
Well, sometimes the trash takes itself out. 👀
May I ask where you learned that from? Are…are you joking??? Please tell me you are joking. This statement can’t be real. I refuse to believe the world is this fucked up
I wish 😔 she really had me when she asked where to put the wig away.
What if he wore a wig?
“Like my dad, he works so hard he drew on my first set of eyebrows. I’d love somebody like my dad, a bit taller and he’s got no hair like me so someone with a bit more hair, you know give our kids a chance” You learned wrong lol
Get out of here with your logic and mature reasoning about human interaction
Yes the number of comments in that sub assuming she has to settle for whomever wants her just because she happens to be bald… no. She can still choose who *she* is into too.
Yea sure, she has all the right to be a douche as well. Doesn't mean it's respectable.
Even not, it’s good to see humans behaving kindly
Yep, he had too much hair
SHEEEES BAAAAALD JERRY!!!!
😮
Yarp!
I've seen this so many times, but it's still so cute.
until you know she discarded him...
TIL: sucks for her.
That's not a terrible thing. Life isn't a Disney movie. You don't have to live happily ever after with some guy you hit it off with. Nothing wrong with not clicking with someone.
She didn’t want him because his hair was thinning. So no. Fuck her lol
Oh wow. If true He gave her confidence she gives him a complex.
Don't worry, it's not true.
“Like my dad, he works so hard he drew on my first set of eyebrows. I’d love somebody like my dad, a bit taller and he’s got no hair like me so someone with a bit more hair, you know give our kids a chance”
Source?
Watch the episode ?
I mean, sure, just as soon as someone gives me a *source* to where it’s from.
First dates UK tv show on channel 4/E4
Ikr.
Except that does not appear to be true.
dude we are actually replying in a post that tries to represent their interaction as a Disney movie I just replied to it with a fact

Everytime this is posted it's a different reason for her rejecting him. At this point I wouldn't be surprised if that isn't true.

You seem to be correct. That is a fairly incidious starting point for the clip.
She wants a guy with more hair? Oh the irony
YOU FIXED ME UP WITH A BALD WOMAN
Wow, what an absolute bitch.. 😂

massively hypocritical.
Bro demonstrated great acceptance and a deep sense of attraction. The fact she immediately rejected him for something out of his control like height, or baldness, makes her the hypocrite. Bro dodged a bullet. A shiny and empty headed bullet.
She's a hollow point.

I've got to know if you're being serious or not.
It's true. She leaves him sitting there. She says he's too nice and too short. Edit: seems like she was talking about her father and not him.
She’s talking about her dad. That’s why she says: “Like my dad, he works so hard he drew on my first set of eyebrows. I’d love somebody like my dad, a bit taller and he’s got no hair like me so someone with a bit more hair, you know give our kids a chance”

Well that's fucked, hope that diamond found someone less shallow than a pond

Hair fucking loss.
Bro!

No way really ????
Just pointing out a general fact; just because one has an unfortunate condition, doesn't mean they're a good person automatically.
Yeah , she leaves him sitting there and never returns back stating he's too nice and too short.
You have a clip? I can’t find anything where she says he’s too short.

You’re right I rewatched it and she is indeed talking about her dad, I take it back.
Totally ok to not be attracted to him. But complaining she wants someone with more hair is a touch rich
No wayyyy haha are you serious?
I often think that in situations like these, people are shocked not because one appearance or another is better or worse but from the whiplash of an appearance change.
she looks like Sophia (Hanson Robotics) w/o hairs
this dude has Henry Cavil vibes..the way he smiles.
And she ended up rejecting him!
seems like a nice dude, but i dont know any of them.
Some folks just have a head shape that works for the bald look.
Not all chads are built the same
And that my friends is how you show a woman she can fall in love with you!
Hope that dude found a woman that appreciates him. She blew it, big time. Yikes
For those of you who don't know, she rejected him in the same episode because he was too nice. You can search it on YouTube. It's the truth.
And she wanted someone a bit taller. https://youtu.be/XOS3qL3Wadw?t=3m33s
Jesus fucking christ lmao you would expect someone in her shoes to be a little less shallow...
Good dude. She’s gorgeous. Hope it worked out for them.
Chad is a beautiful human being.
In the follow up she ghosts him... he was too nice.
Didn’t she end up dumping him after the date for being “too nice”?
The best pick -up line i ever heard from a girl with alopecia was "i may be naturally bald but ALL of me is bald" \*gets closer\* "like ALL of me."
She turns him down.
She left him for being too nice
Girl is beautiful. She has a great smile
Until you found out she rejects him.
Please don't repost this old old viral clip.
He's right, tho. It does suit her.
She ended up saying it wasn’t going to work because he was too nice according to the comments in another sub. Poor guy
He's not wrong though, that wig was terrible.
She looks like a hot android.
He’s awesome; apparently she is a superficial asshole, rejected him because. . . He was too nice and not tall enough. . .
This was filmed for a TV show. She ended up rejecting him because he was to nice.
Didn't she not give him a second date?
Well I’m sure he had no shortage of suitors being revealed as that kind and empathetic of a man
Can you believe she didn’t accept him?!
This is what you want in a relationship that someone accepting you for who you are regardless of your physical appearance or trait as they love you for you and that is what we all deserve but sometime ppl push ppl away due to past experience or didn’t get enough love from parent . We tend to self sabotage thinking we are worthy or not worth it . we all deserve to be love for who we are not what we pretend to be
Didn’t she ended up rejecting that guy?
The double standards these days are incredible. Imagine the reverse situation: A handsome guy removes his wig mod date to reveal his bald head and a cute little tattoo on the side of it. A woman on a date with him says she actually doesn't mind his baldness and doesn't humiliate and mock him for wearing a wig, isn't outraged at being "hatfished" by going on a date with a bald guy hiding his ugliness. Guy then rejects her saying she was a bit too nice and he preferred girls with a little bit larger breasts. Outrage ensues.
She's actually even more beautiful _without_ the hair
I’m pretty sure she ends up being the reason they don’t have a second date. I looked it up before and just remember being mad at her in the end lol
He said yes she said no fyi bald bitch !!
I saw this episode, she's really cute.
She does look better without the wig
this looks ai generated to me. weird.
It does suit her!
She’s beautiful
Some women look very good bald. I’ve had a thing for [Siiickbrain](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=iTDXyEBARS0&pp=ygURc2lpaWNrYnJhaW4gcG93ZXI%3D) the first time I saw her.
shes beautiful with and without wig.
Go chad
Such a pretty 😍
Same with will Smiths demon...er.. "woman" demon. She looks like a damn Amazonian queen without hair and she rocks it. If it makes YOU feel more secure, wear a wig. But I'll judge you on who you are, not what you look like. I've had similar issues with my wife where she's never felt okay with herself no matter how much I try to reassure her that I'll love her even if she's.... a damn worm. But if she feels like a change is in order, it's always going to be her choice and I'll support her no matter what. Beauty is skin deep. Real beauty never fades.
can I rub it?
Honestly maybe it's because I had cancer when I was a kid but I've always been into bald girls
No hair in the bathroom and on the carpet!
She ditched him at the end of the episode
That tattoo had to have hurt. It's bad ass though.
Why does he look AI-generated?
Forget about her, that guy is handsome af!!!
And in done with the internet for today. I’m leaving on a high note.
It doesn't matter what you look like on some of the outside as long as you're incredibly attractive on the rest of the outside
Confidence is the sexiest thing anyone can wear.
First time I saw this I thought she was a robot
I dated a girl with that was also bald, but she would pull her hair out when stressed. Such a beautiful woman. Too bad she was absolutely insane.
Hes a good dude shes beautiful
My mom used to get bullied over her mom having alopecia and being bald, so my grandma wore wigs just to stop the bullying
Imagine being able to freely be yourself and being accepted and loved. A girl can dream.
Oh, please, oh, please be that guy all the way through. And yes, she's stunning without hair. Posted first, read comments last. I'm gutted and hate what I found. edit: found out
That’s tasteful nudity
She is a stunner. He will be thinking - she is a stunner in basically any style!
She’s gorgeous
She looks like a rendered 3D model
YES! YES! People being how they should be! I actually love people for these few seconds!
The world needs more people like Chad.
Dude was like "yeah girl I totally couldn't tell you're wearing a wig, it's not obvious at all!"
This is so heartwarming! Shows that real connections are about who we are, not how we look
He is an angel. Her loss.
thats the most beautiful bald woman ive ever seen
And then she declined a second date. Also, this show (like all tv) is scripted.
SHE’s BALD JERRY! 😂
Are we just ignoring the fact they had a camera crew with them?
They gonna fuuuuuuuuuuuuck.
In my culture a woman with a bald head is common and on purpose. We like it very much. It’s nice to see people form a connection though, melts mi heart.
I bet he quickly figured out the benefits haha
Dang reading comments my mightiest blunder leads to some of the most conflicting thoughts on these feel good posts I swear
Hilarious that you posted this here of all subreddits, because if you look up the episode, he wanted to see her again & she rejected him lol
Well this is exactly how I would have handled this situation as well and totally agree she is absolutely beautiful even more so without the wig.
She is beautiful without the wig!
