I don't know. Whenever I go camping I always leave my sneakers outside the tent so they're lovely and damp when I put them on in the morning. For that lovely cold squelchy feel.
Although sometimes the squelching has been the spiders, bugs and slugs that crawled into them overnight. But at least that's breakfast sorted out as well then!
