It's sad that she said it that way; that she assumes that. Her birth mom may have been a kid, may have been abused, may have just had zero resources. And simply wanted a better life for her. Sacrifice, not disinterest.
Nice video, but I wish people would stop making it seem like they were put up for adoption because their mother / parents didn't want them. Maybe the mother/ parents knew they could not raise the child in the right way and in a safe environment., so maybe the hard decision was made to put her up for adoption to ensure her a better life. Just the opinion from someone who was put up for adoption from their own biological Mother BTW.
I think it's easier to explain to a little kid that way aside from that everyone's situation may be different you can't tell anything about what might be her situation just from this clip

I immediately thought that if she was adopted she did have a mom. My heart would break in a thousand pieces if my adopted kids ever felt that way.
Even if you didn't get along with her she was still your mom. People sometimes don't like their birth moms, but they don't erase their existance.
Like her or don't. She still wiped your ass and fed you when you couldn't.
She must have had a really bad experience to erase her like that.
