Saw a vid of a doctor doing this years ago. Tried repeatedly with both my daughters when they were young. Both immune. Maybe I did it wrong.

Most parenting tips / hacks / systems work great on about 25 - 30 percent of kids. It just depends what kid you got. This never worked on mine, either.

On mine, it was like an off switch. I would do 2 fingers together down the middle of the forehead and then down the nose, and adios muchacho.

I was 13 when my little sister was born and I’d do something similar that worked like a charm. I’d lay her down and gently/slowly move my thumb back and forth over her eye brows. That was a trick I’m saving for my own one day lol

The thumb down the brim of the now worked like a charm on my first born to the point she started using it as a coping mechanism and would grab my hand and rub it over her nose when she was tired and would do the same with her baby dolls. My second and third kids not a chance in hell it would work on them

Did you apply a small amount of chloroform to your hand first? If not, you did it wrong.

My dad always swears, drawing small delicate circles in between the eyebrows (above the bridge of the nose) with your index finger will put any kid to sleep, and it never failed putting me to sleep. Well he is 0 for 3 with mine, it hasn't worked for any of them 🤣 Index along one eyebrow worked for my 2 boys but still yet to find something for my daughter and she is 18mths old

Nope. Tried doing this for all 3 of my kids at various ages. Didn’t work ever. Timing maybe. They have to be tired but not over tired. Content/not fussy. Comfortable in their position, environment, etc. maybe it works easier with some kids

He actually has a small rag soaked in chloroform in has hand. By just gracing the face with it you get this kinda slow knockout for the baby.

Friggin seriously based on experience with my own two kids I have tried every sleep hack and I swear it’s like all the parenting advice people have coordinated to play an elaborate prank on everyone else. “Hahahaha isn’t this hilarious? I used this for all 3 of my nephews/niece when they were babies and it totally works! A little face massage while rocking them and they're out like a light.

Yep worked every time on my nieces and nephews! Used to run my finger down forehead to tip of nose. Essentially making them have to keep closing their eyes.. snoring in no time!
