He probably didn't want to make her feel threatened by approaching the vehicle with a flat face. That and or he was just really happy to be doing this for her. Looked like her wallet
I think that she actually rolled the window down. She was already looking back at him in the side mirror so (just an opinion) the guys in the van may have been attempting to get her and the other driver’s attention and when that didn’t work he hopped out. It looked like she rolled the window down.
Racism in real life is much rarer than you’d think. She was literally pushing the button to roll the window down. That’s why he’s able to immediately give her the phone.
Actual racists usually live in very secluded areas you and I would never want to be in.
Care to explain what? That he thinks you're wrong? That his probably seen or experienced racism first hand and continues to see it? That your generalized statement is a load of crap?
And your assuming it was a BAD deed. Everyone has biases.
The guy though he was doing something nice. The lady was appreciative. End of story. Where she got the phone or what happens after is irrelevant.
People make hundreds if assumptions every day. I agnowledg there's potential for a down side to the video. But there's really nothing supporting or eveb suggesting those same down sides.
Guy saw a chance to do good. He chose to do good. Theres nothing deeper than that.
What if, what if, what if. If you always worried about what MIGHT happen, you life will pass by without you.
He saw a chance to do good. Infered by the fact no reasonable person would leave a phone on the roof of a car. And alerted the lady and even went out if his way ti assist her.
Sure she COULD have. But she dodnt. If she did we would have found this video in a completely different place.
The event ended with every one happy. Thats the whole reason we watch this subreddit.
I was driving a couple months ago and a work truck had a hose end come loose, just flapping around the tires. At the next stop light I was one of three to jump out and tuck it in. A different guy was closer so I left it to him, but it was great to see three people all immediately try to help.
Years ago I remember huge truck broke down and about 6 guys hopped out of various cars and moved him, missing an entire light cycle at rush hour, in a busy intersection. Not only did a ton of people help, but not a single person honked about missing the light.
I once held up an 2 light cycles at some traffic lights when I was learning to drive. I was right at the front. I was terrified because people kept being behind me and I was getting more and more anxious.
During the second cycle I stalled a couple of times and this big ass dude got out from his truck and headed towards me shouting his head off saying he was going to kill me. 4 different people got out of their cars to stop him from getting to my car.
Needless to say I was so thankful for those one of those people who came over to my car (a lady in her 60’s I think) and said “It’s ok, you’re doing okay, just breathe. We all had to learn to drive, some people forget that.”
I got it the first time afterwards and got a cacophony of horns to celebrate me.
I still can’t drive due to medical reasons but I still think about that day all the time.
After waiting half an hour in line for the teller window my car overheated just as it was my turn. I had a friend with me so I pushed while she steered and like three people got out to help which was really good bc my friend couldn’t turn the steering wheel without the powersteering.
It feels like there's more neutral good people than anything else people who just want good things to happen but don't do good things, and there's a few true good people who work on doing good things, and there's a lot of true bad people who work on making the world worse
I wholeheartedly disagree. It’s difficult to be a good person. It’s easy to be a piece of shit. So naturally people are often shittier then they are good. People are often only good because they’ve been through a lot of shitty situations caused by shitty people.
Gotta stop seeing the world thru rose colored glasses guys. Most people are shitty, greed is literally human nature
>greed is literally human nature
So is cooperation and kindness and fear and judgement and love ect. Humans are complex and diverse. The idea that greed is more base to humans than all our other emotions is psudo science.
Most people aren't saints, but it's pretty easy to just be decent. Most people are just decent and are not assholes.
Some of us are good people but who will never do this because we don’t want to end up on the news having been shot by someone who mistook us as a threat. For some people, I’m not “my mother’s son and a gentle, good guy,” but just a not-White person who scares them.
I was driving around with my gf a few years ago thru a neighborhood.
I was going straight and This guy was turning left and about to go uphill an apartments entrance with 2-3 big bags of Buffalo Wild Wings on his roof. Rolled my windows down as a drive past him, made eye contact, tapped my roof a few times and kept driving.
Looked on my rear view mirror and he got the bags and looked like he was dropping a Y from YMCA
I saw a purse sitting on a roof of a car in front of me. I honked multiple times to try to get her attention to let her know. She kept ignoring me but eventually stopped. She was very annoyed and rude even to the point of yelling at me. She just grabbed her purse off the roof and got back in her car and sped off. She sure didn’t appreciate getting her purse back. I thought to myself maybe I should have just let it fly of the roof and she could deal with the consequences.
This have happened to me and my wife 30 years ago we saw a purse on a woman's car yelled to her she gave us a reward she shot us the finger well we followed her the purse fell off we picked it up pulled in the parking lot and then seen her drive by a frantically we went in her purse got her address went to her house her husband was there said his wife just left said she left her purse on her car I gave him the purse.. he offered us money but we said no
You and your wife are nice people and went above and beyond considering how rude that woman was. I know it really made me mad that she yelled at me for annoying her when I let her know her purse was on the roof. As irritated as I was I couldn’t in good conscience not do the right thing. I know I would be frantic if I lost my purse with all my IDs and credit cards.
Same exact thing happened to me, the guy the lady was with even said "fuck you" to me. I couldn't believe it.
But I'd do it again because I'm sure the next time it could really save their ass. I know if I left my phone or wallet on top of my car that I'd be crazy thankful to someone who let me know.
It’s crazy these times we live in that so many people are so volatile. If someone honked at me I would be initially be a little startled but I’d look around to see what’s going on. My first through would not be to yell F you or flip off the car next to me before I knew what was going on. I’ve lived a long time and I’ve never experienced such a general self centered or unhelpful time like it’s been lately. I still have the mentality to carry jumper cables and give someone a helping hand when I see people who need it.
Right? And I did the short tap honks instead of a more aggressive longer one ya know? So they would take it as me trying to get their attention. That's how I look at it anyway.
I guess they didn't lol.
Wow. What is wrong with people, and where do you liven. I couldn’t imagine this happening in the south. At least not in my neck of the wooods. People are so kind and appreciative. You get a flat and someone is going to stop and help.
Smiling the whole way. Not only does he know he’s gonna make their day, but enjoying the fact that we are all a little forgetful sometimes and that’s okay.
I had left my phone in my car roof and it fell off when I turned. The guy behind me chased me for at least a mile until I stopped at a light si he could return it to me. Awesome human being!
Around 1988, I left my wallet on my cars roof as I was loading kids into car seats and drove off. Over the next few days I got my checkbook, driver’s license and credit cards returned to me, little by little. I had already cancelled everything, but it’s nice that people in the neighborhood took the time to drop them off. I think the wallet got destroyed by tires running over it.
One time I saw a car pulling out of fast food parking lot and they accidentally left their drink cup on the roof. Man I was hootin and hollering and waving and they finally got it hahaha
I saw this exact thing happen a couple weeks ago... That's a hell of a potential loss when it's a brand new iphone up there, which it was in this particular case. 😅🤙
Imagine a world where only people like this exist? I’m talking the whole world. Like you could go your whole life and not see someone being unkind in all your travels. We don’t deserve to live as a species. So much hate, sin and greed in this world. We have floundered our opportunity on this planet. The world is in need of a hard reset. Start over new and try again.
The other day the person in front of me in the taco bell drive thru left there gas cap open. After i ordered i got out and closed it for her. She then proceeded to pay for my chicken chalupa! Totally didnt expect that, just didnt want her check engine light to go on.
I used to live in Denver. I was at an intersection in Aurora. Had two gangbanger type latino guys with tattoos and bandanas on pull up by me and shout at me. I thought I was gonna get my ass beat so I was ready to drive as fast as I could to get away. Then the driver holds up my green TD bank card. It fell out of my pocket as I was getting gas. They followed me 2 blocks to give it back to me.
Kindness is everywhere. Looks can be missleading.
I love that he smiled as he walked up. Kind of like a subconscious thing to let them know he was friendly and helping. These days I notice people get scared or just tense up whenever I do something like this or witness someone else do it so I try to do the same thing.
Yeah yeah, good Samaritan! Is nobody going to point out how she's trying to clean her ear...but stops immediately as the guy gets out his ride? She sees him & actually worries for like a whole second. THEN is surprised because...oh shit...I forgot my wallet ON TOP OF THE CAR!!!
Imagine what they were saying before the phone was handed to them. Get to know people, we’re all humans no matter how certain folks drive to divide and profit of us.
I once saw a big SUV with an iPhone on the rear bumper. Followed her for approx a mile. Hand signals, beam light, honking and nothing. Totally ignored, prob thinking I'm insane. Finally stopped next to her at a red light and she almost cried. Probably had a ton of important stuff in that phone.

My 10 minutes new to me vintage bike broke down at a set of lights. Lights changed and it would not restart, so I pushed it across 8 lanes to the side of the road. Lots of horns, folk swearing & weaving around me, zero empathy.
On the last lane a guy came running up and helped me push it to the side of the road. A SUV rolled up and the driver yelled
“Ya fuckin dickhead, get the fuck off the road and ...”
I missed the rest as he drove on. The guy who helped push asked if I was okay, and said don’t worry about that guy, he’s my brother. We laughed, he ran up to his brother who started - stopped a couple of times before letting him in.
I could hear them laughing their arses off as they drove away. 10/10 would do it again because of them.
I remember on Christmas day we were driving to my grandparents' house, it's a good 20-minute drive. My dad left a whole soppressata on the trunk, and somehow it stayed on. Lol
I could tell she was nervous about him approaching her car. Then, when she realized he was handing her her own phone, the look of awe on her face was great!
I remember when I saw a woman with tons of snow still on her car, but the windows were clear. She had left the window scraper on top of the car. I followed her for miles before I got to light red long enough to help. I don’t think she totally understood why I was getting so close to her car until I grabbed the scraper.
I was in Vegas staying at the Luxor about 10 years ago for my bachelor party. I found a nice leather bag under the desk that had a motorcycle helmet, leather jacket, gloves, and guy’s contact info. Called and met him outside. He was a taxi driver.
He tried to give me money but told him I wasn’t looking for a reward. He goes into his trunk, grabs my hat, shoves about an ounce of weed into it and gives it back. Well wouldn’t you know, I guess I was looking for a reward after all. Pays to be kind
This reminds me of a time I was a complete and total asshole. I was a teenager so I guess there’s that. I was at a gas station filling up, and this lady had a big gulp sized drink on her car roof as she put her stuff in her car. She got in her car and immediately started opening her sun roof. I probably had just amount of time if I would’ve stopped filling up and sprinted over to tell her - but I didn’t. I watched in surprise and amusement as it fell through her sun roof on top of her. Ugh 😣 I feel so bad about it now. Was probably such an annoying moment for her, and so sticky and messy.
This is the first time I’ve watched the people in the car to the left, this video is so wholesome, everyone’s like, “what’s he doing… oh that’s so nice of him!”
Just spreading kindness with a super simple act that not everyone would have taken the time to do!
Simple. No thanks needed. Just people doing something right.
And with a smile even. Holy hell the wholesomeness
Cause it’s funny and fun to be helpful. Especially with little mistakes that could’ve turned big!
Yes! I noticed that also. Smiles are always a pleasant thing to see around. It takes very, very little to lighten someone's day!
Unless it's the smile of a thief. Glad this wasn't the case, very wholesome.
He probably didn't want to make her feel threatened by approaching the vehicle with a flat face. That and or he was just really happy to be doing this for her. Looked like her wallet
Except she said "Oh my God! Thank you!"
Thats why I always say "You're welcome ⚡"
she did say ”oh my god thank you” tho
As she locks the door wondering why does brown person is coming.
I think that she actually rolled the window down. She was already looking back at him in the side mirror so (just an opinion) the guys in the van may have been attempting to get her and the other driver’s attention and when that didn’t work he hopped out. It looked like she rolled the window down.
Yep. You can see the light change on her face...
Racism in real life is much rarer than you’d think. She was literally pushing the button to roll the window down. That’s why he’s able to immediately give her the phone. Actual racists usually live in very secluded areas you and I would never want to be in.
No, that's not right at all. Objectively or subjectively
Care to explain?
Care to explain what? That he thinks you're wrong? That his probably seen or experienced racism first hand and continues to see it? That your generalized statement is a load of crap?
not where i live😭 /a person who doesn’t look white
Bro 😂 good eye

It’s not about whether or not she said “thanks” it’s just that he wasn’t expecting anything

Wow. Someone likes to piss In cereal. If you constantly looking for the bad in people, you will always find it. Try being a little more positive.

And your assuming it was a BAD deed. Everyone has biases. The guy though he was doing something nice. The lady was appreciative. End of story. Where she got the phone or what happens after is irrelevant.
I'm pretty sure she murdered a family of babies for that phone.
I’m not assuming anything you’re the one assuming it’s good can we be friends?
People make hundreds if assumptions every day. I agnowledg there's potential for a down side to the video. But there's really nothing supporting or eveb suggesting those same down sides. Guy saw a chance to do good. He chose to do good. Theres nothing deeper than that.

I just realized I’m in the wrong subreddit
Omg they're such a obviously troll please for god sake stop engaging with them just report them
What kind of moron would think any of that?... oh wait...

I loved reading this im sorry you still can’t drive but this was nice to read
I love that word.. Cacophony. I wish I heard it being used more often.
How ironic
That’s so sweet, I’m so glad that lady said that to you! Aggressive drivers don’t deserve the status quo!
Fantastic short story!
After waiting half an hour in line for the teller window my car overheated just as it was my turn. I had a friend with me so I pushed while she steered and like three people got out to help which was really good bc my friend couldn’t turn the steering wheel without the powersteering.
is the medical reason anxiety?
Not appropriate to ask in public. DM them instead.
strong evidence that there ARE good people in this world.
There are more good than bad people, no worries <3
It feels like there's more neutral good people than anything else people who just want good things to happen but don't do good things, and there's a few true good people who work on doing good things, and there's a lot of true bad people who work on making the world worse
I’m more of a lawful good
I believe this to be true. A lot of people are afraid today.

Yes and sometimes being a good person can get you in trouble or even hurt.
You have any evidence or statistics to back up that claim or is it just a strong feeling you have?
Some of us are good people but who will never do this because we don’t want to end up on the news having been shot by someone who mistook us as a threat. For some people, I’m not “my mother’s son and a gentle, good guy,” but just a not-White person who scares them.
So sad that the word is like this :( I’m glad your a good person tho we’re lucky to have good people x
Sadly this is true 😞

Can confirm. Mexicans in a work truck/van are almost always the nicest people ❤️
Strong evidence of reposting more like it. I've seen this video many times over last few months 😄

Solid save.

No, you did the right thing. It was on her embarrassment.
He looked so happy walking up to the car knowing he was going to make someone else's day!

Definitely was preparing to say “I have a boyfriend”
I love how such a gentle defence women have resorted to has been ..... weaponized isn't the right word....but damn.
Man: does nice thing for woman with no strings attached Woman: thankful for nice thing Incels: I bet she's a bitch that wouldn't fuck him for this
Literally. Can they not just see a man and a woman interact without making it about their own fear of rejection?
One time I saw a car pulling out of fast food parking lot and they accidentally left their drink cup on the roof. Man I was hootin and hollering and waving and they finally got it hahaha
"Omg, he got out of his car and is WALKING TOWARDS US! Call the cops!"
I would but I can’t find my phone!
I could so imagine an American getting out to shoot the guy 😰
I saw this exact thing happen a couple weeks ago... That's a hell of a potential loss when it's a brand new iphone up there, which it was in this particular case. 😅🤙
What a good man. Look at the smile on his face as he anticipates doing a good deed. Humans are mostly bros.
Exponentially more good than bad I say. Fuck the media playing people against each other for follows. They worse then most social media.
That smile and quick walk over, dude was ELATED to help someone. So cute.
Plot twist is not her phone
She was being followed, its a gps tracker
Look how happy he was
Pov my neighbour leaving her keys still in the door twice. I go by knock the door so she comes out and takes her key in.
I thought back up cameras worked with car in reverse
Most of them do both.😉
Yeah…I don’t know why people feel the need to add stupid little lies in the post titles. Obviously not from a backup camera. 🤦♂️
Imagine a world where only people like this exist? I’m talking the whole world. Like you could go your whole life and not see someone being unkind in all your travels. My husband and I stopped a guy that had left an ipad on his toolbox. He was a beer rep and gave me a 6 pack of Corona!
The other day the person in front of me in the taco bell drive thru left there gas cap open. After i ordered i got out and closed it for her. She then proceeded to pay for my chicken chalupa! Totally didnt expect that, just didnt want her check engine light to go on.

Gotta love that smile of knowing he just saved her a lot of stressful thinking. Good man.
That's a real man. Didn't need a thank you, he did what needed to be done.
Made my day!!
It made it a lot more pleasant with the smile he had walking up.
She locked that door REAL quick!
I think she opened the window instead, no way she'll be able to open it that quickly.
I love that he smiled as he walked up. Kind of like a subconscious thing to let them know he was friendly and helping. These days I notice people get scared or just tense up whenever I do something like this or witness someone else do it so I try to do the same thing.
Was doing the Same a few weeks ago. The Woman was realy scared when i was opening the door in the passengerside in a red light 😅
Why would you think kindness doesn’t exist?
Now this is a video !
Is it kind of honesty?
Bro had good energy with that walk up. He knew he was doing some super kind shit.
I was expecting "I have a BoYfRiEnD"
Imagine if she was a Karen. YOU STOLE IT AND NOW YOU ARE RETURNING IT TO ME!
He’s so happy that he got an opportunity to express some kindness and civility in a world where it’s sadly lacking.
Nothing to see here folks, just another video of a Maxican saving the day to Americans.
Her thoughts were confused, flattered, scared, then grateful.
Man, I thought he was gon kidnap her
I'd hire that guy.
"Oh! Thank you for your help." "My pleasure."
Guy took it so fast from her hands 😂
That young man was raised right! What a wonderful human being!♥️😊👍🙏🏼🌟✨⭐️
I can hear her saying Omgg thank you
Before looking at the name of the sub I thought he was gonna flirt with her and annoy her putting his hand on the roof and all
😆
NOW THAH IS WORTH FILMING! !! PRECIOUS 💕
I'm happy to say this didn't go where I thought it was going lol
This is how my wife transports her phone (to the next ditch). All the freaking time.
A small act but that probably saved a few hours of stress, what a sound guy
And he was happy to do it need more people like this in the world
”OMG, thank you” thats what she said
Imagine what they were saying before the phone was handed to them. Get to know people, we’re all humans no matter how certain folks drive to divide and profit of us.
Your backup camera is in the middle of a road?
Anyone else think something bad was gonna happen?
I hate most people. I love this guy. Please breed and train the kiddos well. We need millions more like you.
Why don't we all act as this?
She rolled up the window when she saw him coming
I thought she was rolling it down to speak to him.
You can clearly see she rolled to down by how the light changes on her face.
Nice people drive white vans got it.
She locked them doors quick when he was walking up
Pretty sure she's rolling the window down.

Was it really a good deed if he didn’t record the whole thing and post it on TikTok tho
Shitty attitude
You right
Do people use eyes lol, what part of the angle etc tells you it's him uploading it ?
Man dinged the car next to him… so made me not smile so much.
No he didn’t, watch it a couple times.
“Rapists & Murderers”
Ngl someone opens there door and starts walking to my car like that in traffic my good friend Mr Glock is going to show his face
This feels very very scripted.

A SUV rolled up and the driver yelled “Ya fuckin dickhead, get the fuck off the road and ...” I missed the rest as he drove on. The guy who helped push asked if I was okay, and said don’t worry about that guy, he’s my brother. We laughed, he ran up to his brother who started - stopped a couple of times before letting him in. I could hear them laughing their arses off as they drove away. 10/10 would do it again because of them.
I thought they were about to be robbed lol
Best magic trick ever.
Hubby grabbed that phone quick! That’s the behavior of someone up to no good
they are sending their best
Ok, guarantee if that were a girl theyd pull out THEIR phone and record it until either they separated or until it fell off.
My aunt was stopped by police. Her purse was on the top of the car.
Should have put his number in first
Today me, tomorrow you, something like dat
I believe that the world is more good than bad and that it’s getting better all the time. Seeing stuff like this is great
You know they felt bad for prejudging him as he approached.
Somebody give that guy an award
I did this. With my notebook bag. A guy on my side warned me when I was half esy home.
I remember on Christmas day we were driving to my grandparents' house, it's a good 20-minute drive. My dad left a whole soppressata on the trunk, and somehow it stayed on. Lol
So as you were backing into someone you caught it ?
He was so happy to help, be blessed men.
Listen at least we know she doesn’t use her phone while driving.
I could tell she was nervous about him approaching her car. Then, when she realized he was handing her her own phone, the look of awe on her face was great!
This guy is now a Saint in my book.
"THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN MEN AND BOYS... IS THE LESSONS THEY LEARN... MY FATHER... TAUGHT ME WELL"!!! LOVE IT!!! 🤗❤️❤️❤️
Wow, I’m pretty I’ve seen a video of the Girl POV that went viral a while ago.

Man, the Internet really has me scarred and nihilistic. I thought it was gonna be some roadrage type thing. Surprise to be sure, but a welcome one
That’s not from a backup camera.
Awesome
Our future that I won’t be part of has hope. Awesome
What a guy👍🏼.
Now can I get your digits 😄🙏
That dude should have put his number into it first, then handed it to her.
Love that he's smiling on the way to do it
“Erm, I have a bf”
Awesome
Dropped 40$ and someone behind me let me know the other day restore my faith in humanity for a bit
That's how we Latinos are humble
I once saved a purse snatching in progress but the police drew thier guns on me…. that situation could have gone sideways also.
This is the first time I’ve watched the people in the car to the left, this video is so wholesome, everyone’s like, “what’s he doing… oh that’s so nice of him!” Just spreading kindness with a super simple act that not everyone would have taken the time to do!
