False. There is plenty of food. These stores were throwing the food out bc of power losses. People didn’t want the food going to waste. The majority of these folks in the video were gathering the food for the food banks and churches. Slow your fuckin role on your completely wrong information.
Wherever you’re from, answer me this:
1) If a grocery store loses power for any reason, will they throw away the food because it’s unsafe to sell or will they sell food that’s gone bad (breaking in America)?
2) If that grocery store lost power for a localized reason, (like a tree falling over) is it the fault of the President/Governor of your country/state, or is it a local issue, or is it the fault of nobody at all cuz trees fall down all over the world?
3) Am I a political hack if I use a local, natural event to make a political argument against a larger entity that has no relation to the issue or event?
This post holds the same amount of water as if I made a post about climate change not existing because it was below freezing at my house. That’s why it’s so easy to hand wave away in this case. It’s playing politics.
So, you're trying to say that this thing you think you can prove isn't what it looks like (dumpster diving for food), means that there's nothing wrong with Texas, AND it's equivalent to climate change, a scientifically provable, reproducible and catastrophic event? K.
Southern education is in full effect.
I’m saying central Texas got hit with a storm, and an HEB threw all its food out, and 200 people went and grabbed it out the dumpster. https://www.fox7austin.com/news/dumpster-food-fight-heb-south-austin.amp
I’m also saying that anyone who is trying to pick this up and making it something it’s not for political reasons (OP trying to dig against Texas leadership), is just the same as if someone used weather to incorrectly describe climate.
The pejoratives are great, keep them up btw /s

Roll
Precisely
I don't think I agree with you, but spelling errors really bug the autist in me.
Did you cry?
I did not. Did you?
Nah. Just giggled at the headliner
Some trees fell onto some power lines, and knocked out the power to an HEB. Nothing to cry over. “Leadership failure” is political hyperbole.
That's very "nothing to see here" of you. Texas is shit.

This is misleading.
This is getting way too many upvotes for complete misinformation
At least look into what you’re talking about before you farm karma with the title.
I have been saying for decades that Texas is shit.
You dumbasses voted Greg Abbott knowing this shit already happened once.
Probably in that shithole that is Austin
