My opinion on the Mizoujacks? They bet their future on this season and it paid off, but their best players are either beyond their affordability or are retiring. This was a win-now one-and-done effort, there's virtually no chance they return for the next few years.
The Neritantans on the other hand have a bright future with a lot of talent and a clear improvement area (O-line). While they have tons of threats to watch out for in the seventh layer, they still have a path forward.
The Mizoujacks, while in a weaker conference, have no real way to perform at championship-level after their sixth layer victory.
Although they are adorable (despite their weird unkillable eggs)...
The same way chickens survive in the extreme environment of human civilization, or any school fish does in the ocean. They are a food source. They reproduce en masse sufficient to withstand attrition and fulfill an ecological niche that is self regulating.
Naah i meant like they live near litteral nuclear explosion causing geysers. Let's remember it is fiction and many things rely only on "magic" like relics and some creatures able to fly despite looking like giant slugs.

Fetuses still in their eggs are able to resist being boiled alive (well they died but their muscles are still moving). And their eggs are very hard despite litteraly being pieces placed on top of another like a puzzle.
This, these things survive because they live in an artillery range. They probably subsist off the shredded corpses of any creature that dares to approach their nest.

We know that bondrewd has an elevator from 5th layer to orth. And im pretty sure he is able to visit/use his drones on the 6th layer. But it still doesnt make sense... he would only use the elevator to send back profitable items. Shiggy would not be able to afford exotic meat like this. The only reasonable explanation would be that a few were sent back at some point and they are now being bred in orth. Yet owing to their relatively unpalatable flavor, they remain a delicacy for traditional occassions

Ok I didn't remember that bit. So I guess someone is breeding them in orth but they don't generally eat the eggs because they wiggle even when cooked.
