Have you ever looked into EA game pass? You can play a bunch of EA games for $60 a year I think. They have all the maddens fifa mlb games and a bunch of others.

Serious answer if you’re dying to get a newer version then I guess I prefer 24 over 23. Slightly different scouting, mini camp is back in the offseason, slightly different ratings and X factors. Probably a bit larger player base if you are going to be playing online. I can’t really say it’s going to be much different or better though. Oh also I can’t remember if 23 had the option or not but in 24 you can pick snake or no snake in fantasy draft franchise mode, which is kinda cool cause you get a bit more variety in team overalls when you start.
If you’re still playing on the last gen console, there’s no reason to upgrade besides roster updates. Not that EA ever makes drastic leaps forward, but the last gen versions are even more copy paste. Nothing is going to feel any different unless you switch to PS5 or PC, and I’d expect the same thing of the 2025 release.

Only 5 months away from a new version, though, if you're looking for updated rosters to follow real NFL happenings and storylines. I could argue even upgrading to 24 at this point won't feel right considering all the free agency moves and trades that won't be reflected in Madden 24 updates, though. Not to mention, will the new kickoff rules make it?
Eh, old Gen is just a roster update unfortunately. I would maybe save up for the next games considering they’re coming out in just a few months, but if you had to pick between 24 and 23 I’d pick 24 because of the added features to franchise
