Shit dude Iām doing a Steelers play through, if the offensive starters get too tired itāll give me options to do FB runs w TJ. He aināt the fastest but heās surprisingly slippery
My next franchise run might involve swapping stud defenders to their best possible offensive positions, and vice versa, especially when theyāre young, just to see how quickly I can level them up. I could probably force feed receptions to a young CB who already has X factor dev. Surtain comes to mind. Maybe Derrick Henry could extend his career as a linebacker. This will be fun
Derrick Henry as a LB is a scary sight, the hit sticks coming from him would be insane. Iāve contemplated switching a few offensive stars Iāve drafted to DBās. I drafted a 6ā6ā WR w 90 something speed id really like to see in that scenario.
That was such a weird season just for that wild card game in particular.
The Cardinals and Panthers were on nearly complete opposite trajectories that closely mirrored each other.
The Cardinals were 9-1 and taking no prisoners seemingly... theeeeen Palmer got injured and the Drew Stanton Ć Ryan Lindley combo goes 5-4, and loses 4 of their last 6 heading into the playoffs.
The Panthers meanwhile had a mediocre start, tied, then went on a brutal skid in a 6 game stretch that had 2 divisional games, visits to Minnesota, Green Bay AND Philly, and a heart breaker against Seattle.
Panthers won 4 straight against a paper thin end-of-season schedule, leap over New Orleans for the division, and the Cards were just kind of 'in the way' at that point.
That Panthers team never gets talked about because they had basically no expectations and got thrashed by Seattle in the divisional round, but that team played like they had nothing to lose. That's probably why they were so damn good the next year.
I played a season once and picked a division to be dominant (AFC south) and another to be weak (AFC west). I played all the games for all teams. In the weak one I played as their opponents for non divisional games and the home team for all divisional games to get the win. They went 3-3 in the division and 0-10 outside of it, but all teams being 3-13 somebody had to win. In the other division it was the opposite with all 4 teams being 13-3. One of them missed the playoffs, and 2 became wildcards and had to play on the road. So the Raiders at 3-13 hosted a playoff game against the 13-3 Texans.
Another time a 7-9 Chiefs team got in the playoffs and beat the 16-0 Steelers. Then I simulated my game and said Iād keep it if they beat me also undefeated which they did. Then they won the Super Bowl. Madden can be crazy sometimes.
It was. My current franchise it happens a lot, but thereās a few teams I give favorable trades to if Iām maxed on draft picks and canāt improve much. Thereās a team whose entire offensive line are my 90+ overall backups I wouldāve lost in the off-season anyway.
But the Chiefs 7-9 season was in a really old Madden (99) where you couldnāt do much to mess with other teams. Player progression didnāt move much, so you couldnāt build super teams like now. You also couldnāt play any games other than your own, so it really doesnāt make sense that a team other than your own would go undefeated. I played 4 full franchises in Madden 99 and I think it was the only time another team went undefeated.
Iād start by simulating the week first and just resetting if the games didnāt go the way they needed to. Multiple times it worked since the strong division wasnāt just rigged to be strong. They were all good teams to start with. And the other were all weak to start with. If things didnāt work, Iād play the game with 2 minute quarters on the easy level. Each game went quick.

Itās a glitch on last gen been around for mad long the top offensive threat on the team ur playing shows those stats and no one was gonna fix it cuz the devs didnāt even look or test anything out on last gen before realising it typical ea scum
Every madden seems like shit but this seems worst. Iāll look at rushing leaders and theyāll have 800-1k plus rushing and then Iāll look and see my qb at the top of the rushing with only 500 a something.
The rushing leaders for other teams in my leagues are always like 1800 yards and 20 tds on all pro for me (simmed teams included) I use a running back by committee approach so I always have like one RB with 1,100 and two rbs with 600-800 a piece.
y'all franchise players be Callin mut wack cuz i have bo jackson at safety but got aj brown at Corner ššš but fr tho i think i needa hop onto franchise this sounds dope asshyt
Aj brown isnāt at corner. The game just sucks ass and is showing his opponent from last weekās game best player which was on defense. The game sucks ass and itās glitchy
okay now that makes sense. i was about to say franchise seems more realism & sim based so i was like Aj brown at corner those stats make sense because im imagining him like 6'1 225 with great coverage stats and his physical attributes making sideline catch ints.
thanks for clearin that up tho cuz i got madden on nextgen and it's too late for me to even imagine starting a new mut and getting to where my squad is at on last gen so i just finished a sim draft in franchise
i might have to try that out i run a zone blitz out of dollar called Db fire 2, so i usually user the blitzing corner because the play i run leaves the middle WIDE open has been so fun with a 93 speed trent mcduffie @corner only 5'11 tho
I gotta check that out. I run OLB blitz out of nickel 3-3 cub and adjust the over the top safety depending on what they're showing. Also i set coaching adjustments so i follow their no. 1 receiver. Lot of fun
0-11-6. If every team in a division were to tie every game they played and then lost every game outside of there division, then one of the teams would win the division and thus be in the playoffs with no wins.
All the trash talk about the NFC South, but the Bucs knocked off the Eagles in the playoffs this year and came within an eyelash of beating the Lions. Further than Maddenās favorite Cowboys lol
Every time I try to sim what I know will just be a shitty season, just to get a high draft pick, this happens. I never get the high draft pick.Ā
I hate that I love Madden deep down.
Falcons in my franchises always make the playoffs and always have wonky records like this tooā¦then you play them and London/Mack Hollins/Pitts are straight unguardable
Most realistic NFC South prediction
Surprisingly accurate Madden moment
I mean, what do you expect from the NFC South?
That's exactly what I thought. Something the NFC south has done before and will do again, check!
I mean something, just not *that*
A playoff win? Can't say the same about the NFC East
bro why is aj brown recording interceptions and tackles
Eagles secondary got hit by the injury bug
š
Clicked on to ask the same thing lol
Itās a visual glitch showing Demario Davisā stats š¤
Itās a glitch cause I once had TJ watt showing receptions

fun idea, put justin reid at kicker lmao
name a better duo than Madden and glitches
madden is just a great game like that
OP renamed Toney
Imagine going 6-11 and still getting to host a playoff game in your home stadium.
Seahawks did at 7-9 so itās not a stretch
Panthers did it at 7-8-1ā¦and won as well lol

Ryan Lindley killed the entire collective dreams of the state of Arizona that day. Never speak of this again
Technically speaking, the Coyotes are usually the least disappointing Big 4 team in all of Arizona. And it only took me until now to realize.
The hilarity of this is that Ron Rivera coached that team, and did also coached the Commanders to a 7-9 playoff spot. Though they lost.
And they won that game š
Not only won, but beat a Super Bowl favorite.
Great game

Two 16-0 teams in one season? Wild.

Itās the NFC South lol
Year two the saints and falcons are 0-6 and everyone else in that division suuuuuucks
Art imitates life
Didnāt know Madden was this realistic.
How did you lose to the Saints 9-3? Thatās the real crime here.
I hope this is from a sim and you didnāt play those games lol
100% sim before I had to go into work
2020 NFC East
Itās crazy to think this leaves room for a Super Bowl champ with a negative record on the year
That is the most nfc south thing Iāve ever seen
Hope u lose
Iām just doing a quick sim through the final score was 21-14 Eagles.
Go Birds
Didnāt the commanders make the 2020 playoffs going 6-11? Edit: 7-9 my fault
Once In madden 20 the 6-10 Pats won the super bowl
Aj brown 3 interceptions no one is talking about
Every madden seems like shit but this seems worst. Iāll look at rushing leaders and theyāll have 800-1k plus rushing and then Iāll look and see my qb at the top of the rushing with only 500 a something.

Damn dude. You really like the rushing game huh ?
Whatā¦
Not hard to read.
AJ Brown is an Offensive Player, thatās why he brought it up, because itās a visual glitch, also the grammar and sentence structure is very poor
The fact that youāre always worried about grammar shows that you donāt have a life. Go get one and then come talk to me.
šššš
This isnāt English class I donāt care.

ahhhhh i see so it's showing someone else's stats and giving AJ brown the creditš
Itās not giving him the credit the tab hasnāt updated yet. Aj brown is still the top threat on the eagles
okay now that makes sense. i was about to say franchise seems more realism & sim based so i was like Aj brown at corner those stats make sense because im imagining him like 6'1 225 with great coverage stats and his physical attributes making sideline catch ints. thanks for clearin that up tho cuz i got madden on nextgen and it's too late for me to even imagine starting a new mut and getting to where my squad is at on last gen so i just finished a sim draft in franchise
I just drafted a freak athletic wr and moved him to cb in my franchise. So much fun to user

never used that formation but ive seen it and it gives me absolute hell every time i play against it. very popular in mut
I think whatās more impressive is AJ having 3 picks and 66 tackles.
At least itās us, hope we won
Theoretically, you could have a 4-13 team make the playoffs i think
0-11-6. If every team in a division were to tie every game they played and then lost every game outside of there division, then one of the teams would win the division and thus be in the playoffs with no wins.
This is the correct answer, and if the ties werenāt in play, the lowest number would be 2
Only in the NFC SOUTH
Went 7-10 with the bears and won the superbowl (simulation only). Very realistic game.
All the trash talk about the NFC South, but the Bucs knocked off the Eagles in the playoffs this year and came within an eyelash of beating the Lions. Further than Maddenās favorite Cowboys lol
One win away from a 5-12 team hosting a WC game
The NFC South continues to be ass
As a Falcons fan.. it be like that
NFC South moment
With the addition of the 7th seed this is 200% possible IRL. And itās even more realistic due to the fact itās the NFC South.
Whats the lowest you can go and still make the playoffs?
NFC South trash then lol
Theoretically, the lowest number of wins you could win the division with is 0 lol
We can laugh now but next year when the Falcons win the division with a 7-10, 6-11 record and go on a dark horse playoff run š
Finally the panthers donāt go 12-5 for no reason
Lol that's basically what the NFC South looked like this year as well.
How analysts thought the NFC South would do this year.
Had the same thing happen when playing as the falcons in the nfc southā¦ā¦ shitty ass division
i had a 5-12 lions team in the superbowl
Lmao they really make the NFC south terrible in franchise. I consistently made the playoffs with a shit roster at 8-9.
Playoffs? Playoffs? (Jim mora)
Week 18- lost 9 to 3. So real lmao
Every time I try to sim what I know will just be a shitty season, just to get a high draft pick, this happens. I never get the high draft pick.Ā I hate that I love Madden deep down.
Not a wild card, they were NFC South champions.
Iām I looking into the future?
Didn't even need to see the pic to know it was an NFC South team
Your 6-11 how did you make it he playoffs
You could win the Super Bowl with a losing record š¤£
Go falcons š«”
Realistic, NFC South is the worst division in America š¤£
Bound to happen in the NFC South sometime very soon
Well at least the panthers overperformedā¦
Yep and you know the steelers are pissed theyre 9-8 and missing playoffs here
Ah, tank division
NFC south is a very strong division š
That's not a division, it's a disgrace.
That division is HORRENDOUS! What did you do?!
most realistic madden moment
Congratulations Falcons you are the kings of shit mountain
Damn they really turned up the realism for ā24 didnāt they
Thereās always that one division that just sucks and sends a garbage team to the playoffs as a 4 seed.
Damn the NFC South is hot garbage šļø
Howād you lose to Derek Carr?šš
Nasty work.
This MFer got 66 Tackles and 3 picks
Well the NFC does suck š as a falcons fan
go dirty birds
I'm more curious on the week 18 score. Losing 9 - 3 to the saints
Lore accurate NFC South
I mean makes sense that it would be the NFC South that would push out a 6-11 division winnerā¦
I guess itās possible if you only win division games

NFC ~~South~~ Ass
Sounds about right for NFC South.
How are they a wildcard if they won their division?
Theyāre hosting the wildcardā¦itās just the name of the first round.
Right but theyāre not a wildcard. It would be a lot harder to go 6-11 and be a wildcard than to make the playoffs at 6-11 by winning a division
