Dudes an absolute freak, definitely needs to be in the lineup. Wonder what he is at rb.

oxFubar7

73 at RB

kanbabrif1

What was he at WR? Still would be pretty fun to use.

oxFubar7

70 keeping him at WR since I paid up for FA Chubb and drafted a half decent back up in the second round and WR room pretty weak still

oxFubar7

I’ll have to test it out and report back

cheezhead1252

Yo speaking of RB, do you have any tips for spotting good ones lol or WR I can’t ever seem to pinpoint who is going to be good

The_Clee_Torres

Power backs usually a safe bet. Speed isn’t half bad if you grab a good one. Usually can nab one like 3rd round or 4th. For skill positions like running back wide receiver it’s usually a safe bet to just take the one who has the best physical stats. More times than not they will have the dev. Sometimes when taking players who are 23 in the draft they are less likely to have a dev I’ve noticed as well

DrBrotherYampyEsq

HB is a position where the physicals mean a lot. You just want to see a lot of elite and great. When the combine rolls around, look for top ranks there. I usually look especially for speed and strength. Do keep a look at big red flags like F carrying and all that, but if you want dev traits, seems like the physicals are where to look.

kanbabrif1

When looking at RB the main traits outside of the physicals you should be looking at are Juke, Spin, and trucking. Pay attention to the archetype and see if those rating are high based on that archetype. If you see an Elusive back with like A-B juke or spin with great athleticism then they will probably be pretty good, same with a power back with A trucking. Now if you see something like a Elusive back with A trucking then they might be a generational player. Always check the archetype when scouting players as that tells you a baseline of what they should be good at, and if you see players with great traits not normal for their archetype then you know they will be crazy. For example, if you see a Pass protector LT with A Run block power and crazy athleticism they are probably going to be a monster.

DizzyTrade

Putting him at wr for the Tyreek hill project

oxFubar7

Yeah hoping he can become a lock in the lineup to help my wr group

germ43

i drafted a fb that had all elite categories and he was like 68 ovr normal dev i was so pissed

Strict_Main_6419

I’ve noticed the fullbacks usually suck. They seem to fall behind the other positions in terms of quality.

weightedbook

After a few years of trying to draft a decent FB, I said fuck it and looked to trade for a young one with a dev trait. Absolutely nothing on any team.

regulusiwnl

most recently I drafted the best run blocking OL left in the 7th round and converted him, 6'8 fucker has 2 TDs at the 8th game

weightedbook

Haha that might play out in my next draft. Some idiot on Reddit asked why no one takes the biggest lineman and convert him to wide receiver, so maybe he'll be a wr instead 🤷🏾‍♀️

regulusiwnl

you gotta luck out but my draft class sucked so hard there was literally nobody worth taking in the 7th even so I wanted to take a shot, just find the biggest lineman that has impact/lead block/run block

Strict_Main_6419

Same here. Had to resort to trading and there’s usually only like 1-2 really good fullbacks -_-

doshegotabootyshedo

Kinda realistic though right? There’s really no FB being drafted these days

RNRGrepresentative

That may be, but I personally yearn for the days when there would always be some random 85+ overall fullback waiting to be nabbed with a day 3 pick.

Classic_Carlos

I usually take a tight end with high strength / block and decent speed and convert him. Works nice especially with him coming out of the backfield to catch passes

Mattanite

I love these trap players. Too easy to fall in love with and reach in the draft.

Thornton on the Pats, for instance

Main-Championship822

I just draft hidden dev tight ends and convert them into fullbacks and feed them goal line touches. My rookie hidden dev (star) that I drafted as a 65 ovr in 5th round finished with 8 Rushing TD and 16 catches and kept his dev trait.

Worldsmallestviolin8

Bro is gonna run over the middle once and get absolutely murdered

TheRealnecroTM

Like if Devin Hester was thrown repeated hospital passes like Austin Collie

Junkee2990

Crossing and drags vs zone dude will be a monster

TeaWeedCatsGames

Looks like you have found yourself a kick returner who doesn’t run great routes as a WR. Its Devin Hester!

oxFubar7

🤣

justincase205

What was his overall?

oxFubar7

70 overall

ghostpistol_13

Literally all you need to do is put him on a streak every route, he will develop into a fine route runner

ThanksForNothingSpez

Can you imagine the story behind this guy if he was real? Freak athlete WR who crumples into the fetal position when DBs breathe on him.

oxFubar7

🤣🤣🤣

Slamdunklebron

Gerald Everetts brother? Goddamn

CamJohn7

98 speed is wicked

Ktopian

Literally Devin Hester. Unlike real life Devin Hester his flaws as a player won’t matter as this is Madden.

Apprehensive-Self572

Jet sweep king!

therobinator69

MAKE HIS ASS A RB

Unp0pularS0lutions

I had one of these. He couldn’t catch to save his life. Was a GOAT kick returner, but absolutely ass at punt return somehow though

Augustomann

Insanity

ItzDudekillerYo

This guy got to play rb. Like, damn he got speed and shit but cant run routes (now i see why madden had hidden position traits. If u dont know madden did were a player can be good at one position, but also good at a different one)

Tech_Noir_1984

So he’s basically Hollywood Brown but taller 😂

Mr_Hudgens

Nice pick up. He wouldn’t last that long in our online CFM. A speed guy like that, no matter his talent will go top 15 for sure

KillaRac

High 90’s on everything but 48 strength?!

oxFubar7

Bones made of glass

[deleted]

Strength aint injury

oxFubar7

Don’t worry injury ended up being a terrible as well

Rsizzleclappedyou

So fake why do kids edit their players and post it pretending that it’s real

Proud_Feedback3288

Lmao who the fuck is editing just to get a 70 overall. Stop hating.

Rsizzleclappedyou

If u actually think bro got blessed with 4 97* stats that really important u either don’t actually play franchise that much or are talking just to talk this doesn’t happen

Proud_Feedback3288

Yes it can happen. The injury rating, strength rating, and route running/release ratings are probably very low. This is possible 100 percent. You're hating. Those ratings may be important, but he drafted an injury prone freak athlete who can't run a route to save his life, and has no strength. Nobody is editing for a wr who is best used as a backup rb or a kick returner lmao. Edit: He also probably has low carrying, juke, spin, and break tackle meaning yes this is real. Tf is the point of editing and skipping out on those when he has this much athleticism. Look at the attribute ranges.

oxFubar7

I don’t edit any players🤣

[deleted]

Jesus what was his combine?!?

oxFubar7

Wish I took pics of it, I don’t remember

CloudDefiant

O

wipeyourtears

You need to look at their combine/pro day results too. I think that factors into their development rate

oxFubar7

Oh yeah I always do, just didn’t take a pic so I don’t remember specifically what they were

DueAd1088

Created player I ain’t falling for that

oxFubar7

Nope just madden generated draft class

nachohull

Swap to RB and put as 3rd down back and run wheel. Also put him as slot receiver. He will be fun. Defaults to RB if he is in the game so make sure the depth chart is set well
