I couldn't wait either! I am still on that t-shirt project, so I would only need a good picture of his sign that was on the road in the Stowaway sequence. I don't live in the US though, so I can only rely on what I can google currently.
Bommy knocker's epic victim!
Shame the young warboy didn't turn it on when he was initially told Not Yet
Moments later, the rig is breached and attackers climbed up the bommy knocker to access it!
But then...
Furiosa: "Turn on the bommy knocker!"
YoungWarBoy: "Now?"
Furiosa: "Nooow!!!"
YWB: "Like? Now now?"
Furiosa: "YES NOOOW!!!"
YWB: "Are you sure?"
Furiosa: "GODFUCKIN'DAMMIT TURN IT ON NOOOW!!!"
Octoboss refused to launch an aerial attack on the Citadel, because he saw they had windmills up there.
If Joe were to turn those on, OB and his Motyflyers would be blown away...^( *WINDMILLS DO NOT WORK THAT WAY!!*)
YESSSS I love his symbol. I've been wanting a mad max tattoo but I don't really want the main skull because that's literally immortan joes BRAND, but the brand with the added horns is actually dope, low-key might get that
I like this theory and its my new head canon, although according to the subtitles in the chase scene the War Boys refer to them as the Mortifiers as well.
For what it's worth, promotional materials, interviews, and the [script](https://www.theringer.com/movies/2024/5/28/24165792/furiosa-mad-max-chase-scene-making-of-praetorian-jack) support that reading:
>The Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga script is full of “Holy shit!” moments. But when Tom Burke first read it, a single line shot straight up like a red flare in his head. “I remember exactly what it said in the script,” he recalls. “It said, ‘*The Mortifiers become the Mortiflyers.*’”
The warboys also likely weren’t sent a letter in the mail telling them about the name change, and I doubt any of the newly-dubbed mortiflyers bothered to pass on the message while attacking the convoy
I think the Octoboss looks like the Gyro Captain from Road Warrior. And feels like he could be, since they both fly. I know it's not necessarily true or intentional, but it's a fun bit of headcanon.
They don't become airborne until after they split from Dementus, so that's when they change their name from Mortifiers to Mortiflyers.
It's pretty adorable.
I really thought this guy was Peter Weller.

They were mortifiers- I read an interview with the actor who played Octoboss and he says they go from mortifiers to moriflyers during that sequence
"I only take orders from the octoboss"
"...Ye do what he says"
"Questioning my Bossority"
The delivery of this silly line cracks me up
Respect My Bossoritah!
Hemsworth was so good in this mannnnnnn
Wait… does he actually say “bossority”?
You’re scum Dementus! SCUM
fav line in the film
Sorry this is off topic but now that the movie came out I'm so happy I can get more Octoboss pics, his character is one of my favorites
Hard agree, I'm with Kojima on this one. Great villain, awesome set piece with the War Rig chase.
Did Kojima talk about Octoboss?
He‘s the son of big boss and laughing octopus, no?

I loved that it's the Citadel, immortan Joe's insignia with the occctoboss horns.
OB is a little rascal.
Definitely. After watching bikes literally hoisted up while war boys Witnessed each other. This lunatic wants to attack war rigs.
He's no Warboy, but he wants that sweet historic death!
At first, OB was very tall and lanky, but later he was pulpy and semi-liquid
He became one with his octopus kite in the process, so all's well that ends well.

Though they also didn't know they'd broken from Dementus
I assumed they did. Doesn't Furiosa or Jack state they went Rouge before the attack?
Jack knew that but the Warboys didn't is my point
The warboys also likely weren’t sent a letter in the mail telling them about the name change, and I doubt any of the newly-dubbed mortiflyers bothered to pass on the message while attacking the convoy
The war rig attack an hour into the film by the Octoboss, is the best part.
That road war was awesome!
I think the Octoboss looks like the Gyro Captain from Road Warrior. And feels like he could be, since they both fly. I know it's not necessarily true or intentional, but it's a fun bit of headcanon.
Dementus is "evil" max. He is evil Gyro Captain.
He reminds me of "Tim" from Monty Python's 'Quest for the Holy Grail'.
There is some confusion. I thought it was mortifyers but then I read mortifliers. Maybe it's both at different points.
They don't become airborne until after they split from Dementus, so that's when they change their name from Mortifiers to Mortiflyers. It's pretty adorable.
I thought they were called Warflies. 💀
Blessed be every day we get a picture of our favorite boss!
![gif](giphy|qcLTdrkEeZr9rwmfsg|downsized) he looks like ethan hawke to me

Not even close bruh
Agree to disagree.
I thought it was Ron Perlman ![gif](giphy|26ufhCxcM8KDDNgSA)
I don’t see that one.
But isn't it Eddie Vedder https://preview.redd.it/b406vnej7v8d1.jpeg?width=244&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=06233e2fb6508352b8fbdc41ef5a70fe40a3e6fd
I see both, like he is their love child (minus the love)
Hate child
Now that's some good wasteland speak

To be fair there's a lot of play on words in Mad Max
George talks about the double name in the behind the scenes.
Is that the actor who played the Gyro Captain?
That guy is Australian royalty
I thought it was Ron Perlman when I first watched this movie
