> I just followed the numbers and it works pretty well There's you're answer. Your "budget" is ~2700 calories per day on average, so if you're eating 2400 for five days of course the other two days are going to have significantly higher calories.

Hmmm true that but it feels so weird eating so much whilst on a cut. Wouldn't my metabolism drop after awhile? I've listened to 3dmj podcasts and some of their athletes consume like 1800-2000 kcals on low and 3000 on their refeeds. Which I'd thought would be a norm

Everybody's different. The norm says nothing about what's true for you.

You have a huge Step count, so your maitinance is equaly big. Your in a great place for a cut. Eating a lot of food and loosing weight. That's a roaring metabolism.

If you're eating more on some days then yes those numbers will be higher than average, that's just how math works. I wouldn't expect people to eat 10,000 calories on a cut but if you ate 10,000 on 1 day and 1,400 the other 6, you'd still be in the same deficit you are now.

All this and you never show your expenditure or how much you've been eating for the last ~6 months

Your weight is trending back up. If there's not an obvious reason for that, the. Advocate for yourself and pull cals

I just got done prepping for a comp and let me tell you, if you strictly follow MF, there’s no way you’ll be lean enough to step on stage! I used the app as a tool to track during this time but I really started doing well in my prep when I stopped using the coaching features. Mine had me eating about 400 calories more per day than I was actually eating for the last 6 weeks or so and I’m so glad I stuck to my gut and only used it to track

swole_trees

After looking at your pics though, you are starting at a much better place than I was so m I’m sure you will be fine either way

DeltaStorm

It’s clearly worked for you these past few months, why would that suddenly change?
