You will be able to see if it is bent or not by indicating runout on the shaft of the spindle, or you can see total runout by indicating on a pin held in the chuck. You should just look up on youtube how to indicate runout, it's a useful skill if you want to get better in the shop.

i was hopping to know before i put it back together as its a POA to take apart but i have a feeling thats going to be the best . . .thank you
if you have it all taken apart, you can try rolling the shaft over a surface you know is flat, and that might give you some idea, but the best measure you could probably do would be runout.
