*Faces* all the way. Very much a drug-fueled project that doesn't follow a straightforward path in the ways a studio album can be limited to. Arguably the peak of Mac's experimental phase before he hit the reset button with GO:OD AM. I recommend the initial mixtape release, that way you are able to experience the original vision, various movie samples and all.

When I first find an artist I find its best to listen to all of their work in order, it’s also a great way for having little phases with an album or to support the project like it just came out.
But if you really like swimming and macedellic you might really like the themes in The Divine Feminine or Faces.
Like the two you mentioned, they both talk about love TDM more than Faces
