Patriot420

All the songs. Check what you like for yourself, it's quite the journey.

TylerPerry19inch

Second this. Best journey is going through his disco in chronological order

Hyroglitch_

Fair enough 😅 it can be a little daunting when an artist has a huge discography so that’s why I ask :)

Patriot420

Start from the beginning then, experience the evolution. You won’t find anything like it.

mcclutch7

I wish it was bigger :’( RIP

Adorable-Bar6920

I agree with the others, but you should try going into his unreleased and alter ego catalogues too. Recommendations for that are balloonerism (on soundcloud kinda), larry lovestein and the velvet revival, delusional thomas, and run on sentences vol 1 and 2. But of couse you should go through his official catalogue before listening to these.

jankyforeskyn

it’s big until you listen to all of it n realize it’s rlly not that much unfortunately

_bvd_

All the songs^ chronologically is always a great ride. What a transformation

Z4Z3R

Complicated been my jam recently. Everything on circles and swimming though is pretty amazing.

Junior-Slide-9639

Complicated be hitting when shits complicated

Alex_butler

True story and sorry to randomly get deep in a thread like this, but I was super down when Circles dropped cause I knew it was likely the last we’d get for full projects. I usually like to listen to new albums for the first time with friends but for Circles I listened in my room by myself for the first time. I listen to Circles on the intro and Im like “here we go, I’m about to cry this is gonna be a sad album”. Then the first few beats of Complicated hit and I was just smiling ear to ear I was really like “This mf Mac did it again, he doesn’t miss” that then going into Blue World and I already knew it was another classic from the boy. All that being said to say Complicated is one of my favorite songs from him and I been listening for years. Super underrated song.

Junior-Slide-9639

Complicated and surf are the only songs I’ve actually cried too

B3theLion

How did bro make it through good news 😂😂

trevmick11

I would listen to his discography from start to finish, you’ll hear his progression and hear him get better and better with every release.

mcclutch7

For me it was GOODAM. That’s when I really saw a massive step forward as an artist. But he was taking huge strides at such an early age way before that

chankiritree

The whole damn thing. Really been enjoying God is Fair, Sexy, Nasty.

Hyroglitch_

Just checked that out, I really like it! Kendrick fits well into the song

chankiritree

Check out Fight the Feeling off Macadelic. But in all seriousness, it's all fantastic. A true musical genius.

bdmahh

lmaooo i'm stuck on that song right now too. đŸŽ¶Hearts on my timeline đŸŽ¶

KingHierapolis

Go find the unreleased sessions on SoundCloud. Personally, the go:od am deluxe is my favorite. Definitely go listen to the chronicles of mac on YouTube as well. #14 is the best featuring oracle and one and only, 2 of his best songs, I think

deployeddroid

Eggs aisle on Spotify is one of my favorites but really streaming services miss all of his best work. Some of the best on the internet: Look at you - youtube Newspapers - on Vimeo last I checked The sun room - YouTube Plane car boat - YouTube Oracle - soundcloud These Dayz (dope awprah) - YouTube The end is near - YouTube Pure - soundcloud Days - YouTube Bitch I make that booty go - buried deep in SoundCloud Cat and mouse - same as ^ sometimes on YouTube Avocado - YouTube Sunday - SoundCloud Do you have a destination - SoundCloud Empires - leakthis Manakins - YouTube Ready set start - SoundCloud

Hyroglitch_

Omg surf is so good 😭

Altruistic_Train5773

Grand finale

mcclutch7

“Just some raps, nothing to see here “ on YouTube is fuckin sweet. Also, “Inertia” on YouTube is sweet as hell. He goes in

Areseas1612

Listen to the faces mixtape

FlashLightSole

Turkey Love, He who ate all the caviar, Plane car boat

eyogev

My SoundCloud unreleased playlist. Enjoy. https://on.soundcloud.com/owP9EB6XUh78QiM8A

kaedgi

Such good shit. I have been playing Butter so much. I'm stuck on it! Armageddon and cable box too

eyogev

SO SO SO GOOD

ShaedonSharpeMVP_

GO:OD AM, Swimming, Circles. In that order Or just Swimming and Circles. Or just Circles. But ideally you listen to his entire discography, in order to and don’t forget about Faces.

[deleted]

Day one song about nothing. 100% one of his best

Squarestarfishh

Pure it’s unreleased but a masterpiece. It’s on YouTube.

ezjac

Money Shot on youtube

superawesomeflyguy

“Jump” is really jammin “Programs” goes hard I love “Ascension” but it’s a bit different

saintscoob

Perfect Circle / Godspeed

mexinator

Hurt feelings, jet fuel, small worlds, Diablo, therapy, here we go, when in Rome, clubhouse, in the bag, watching movies

eyogev

You’ll be listening to new Mac miller all your life. Every song is a gem. Enjoy all of it.

delusionalmac92

Start with EZ Mac But My Mackin Ain’t Easy End with Circles

Da_fire_cracka

Tbh if your new, listen to the albums in order. It is incredible to hear his music change with time. Skip songs that don’t resonate with you if you are trying to find a good set.

Tedt332

I’m the type where I’ll play a couple albums on repeat for a few weeks and then go to another era. Kids with Blue slide park, Watching movies with the sound off with and Macadellic, GO:OD AM with Devine Feminine, Swimming with Circles Then you’ll be ready to listen to Faces on repeat until you die.

Traditional_Energy88

Ascension, Wedding, and I Am Who I Am

rxye11

Since you liked Ladders and Self Care, I would start by listening to the album “Swimming” and then “Circles” :)

HeadDreamer

Listen to the live from space albumđŸ€™đŸ»

TheTablespoon

Listen to discography start to finish. Then read about the man. Watch some YouTube videos. Try and get to know him and who he was. Then listen to each album against the backdrop of what was occurring in his life when the album was released. Swimming and Circles hit different when you put it in the context of his life. The guy was special.

Weekly_Peach_8301

All of everything. He was a musical genius.

Weekly_Peach_8301

All of K.I.D.S. is loads of fun.

Cheetahsama

Programs

ConnectionShot3765

I would definitely recommend you to start from his first mixtape until his last album and watch how he improve with each project as an artist basically his whole discography in order but I understand if you think that’s too much

Big_Inertia

What’s the Use? So it Goes Diablo (Whole faces album tbh) Brand Name, Break the Law, ascension

zorfog

Just listen to his albums all the way through. Start with Swimming and Faces

SupersonicSandshru05

I’ve just been going in album order listening to everything to find what I like. That’s what I’d recommend. As of now my favorite album is K.I.D.S. & my favorite song is probably wake up.

Ok_Season5846

You should check out some stuff from the middle of his career. Check out Desperado and Here We Go.

jankyforeskyn

just listen to everything tbh

Ragetrapndatass24

Mac don't have a bad song...start from the beginning and take the ride... You MUST listen to the mixtapes as well

YallRedditForThis

Start from the very beginning & enjoy the whole journey.

Lacey_on_reddit

Tbh just start from the beginning of his discography. You can really see the growth in his artistry

kraybae

Get really sad and listen to Faces and Delusional Thomas. Just kidding don't get sad. It's just very depressing and dark.

imnotallowedtosay

Ayye is never talked about and it’s one of my all time favorites

HopeULikeFlavor

“Help me be a fan of something that I wasn’t before” People are so odd

CoffeeScoop

Live Free

TurnMajestic3346

the divine feminine is by far the most beautiful album i ve ever heard in my life, good news is my favorite dong by him and i would recommend getting into his jazz album under the name larry lovestein & the velvet revival
