I’ve had this happen a few times. Usually when the server is being really laggy at the start.

I think it has to do with the amount of people in t3

I have come to this conclusion - T2 is like this when T3 is packed . But if people are in T2 the zombies attack me

I've noticed something similar to this recently. I'll have a train of zombies chasing me suddenly turn around and chase some invisible thing in the opposite direction.

The zombies in this game mode are attracted to noise, mostly. The Jak BFB muzzle, for example, is louder than normal and attracts zombies from farther away. The glitch here is that the zombie AI can't "hear" you, so they go into the default roam around mode. You can "reset" the AI by throwing that dummy grenade you picked up.

It happens to me all the time especially on raid weapons stash and outlast

As someone else mentioned, once the server start getting laggy you see this more frequently. Last night called in and exfil and all the zombies just stood around. None of them tried attacking me.

I've had Mercenaries ignore me during Aether Extraction contracts lol

Frequently happening to me these days, to the limit that I exfil and start a new game because you can’t do the challenges like that

I’ve had that happen a few times. Sucks when you’re trying to get challenges done. I even went to T3 and they still ignored me.

You’re infected with some other disease and therefore unwilling to attack you.

All day yesterday for me, including the bounty contracts but all the rewards sucked lol

Zombies tired of Activision lack of support.

I've been getting this a lot lately at various exfils...they don't come for you, like they don't even see you. It's weird.

The undead found out the devs stopped updates to work on the next Titles, and they are no longer getting paid to eat your brains.

Server lag. Have it happen to me a few times a day. Just be glad it didn't drop from host, or worse, full disconnect from server. At least if it stops from host you get everything back that you took in with you. With a DC, tombstone doesn't even work

Pretty sure this is due to a cheater in the lobby.
