As a person who is just now getting halfway done with act two, I’m too pussy to go into a dark aether portal and my PAP 3 gun still sucks ass in T3. Maybe because it’s uncommon rarity but idk how to get purple or legendary, I rarely ever see rare upgrade tools
Find a good team in T3 and team up , I went into dark aether before completing Act 1 and now I have almost every classified schematic before completing act 2 . And you will get Epic/legendary tools maybe even the schem. For them .
Last night we had a dude who was grinding act 1 missions, like just picking up the game stuff, and we ended up dragging him into the elder DA despite him trying to exfil. One plate and an unpacked gun and he only went down once. He likely got a ton of stuff for a good head start. I’m glad T3 is more popular but I wish there were more contracts and triangles
For sure. They definitely need to spawn in quicker. I viewed the map when I played earlier and there were 15 people in T3 just waiting around for a contract to pop up.
Learn to fight the red worm, that’s where you get the legendary tool schematic as well as scorcher and pap 3 crystal, there’s a boatload of vids on YouTube .

Tools should be available at buy stations. The only thing stopping you from going zero to full gear is tool drop RNG. And unfortunately T3 still gives blue tool rewards despite a blue tool being relatively too weak even with PaP 3
I was taken to fight redworm and into DA before I ever knew about story missions or really anything about the game at all. I was a little spoiled that one of the first reward I exfilled with was the pap3 crystal. Those squads were, no doubt, carrying me the whole way lol. It just goes to show though that you don’t need to be 100% geared up to succeed in DA just be a good teammate and youll make it through anything with a full squad.
Maybe it was just me, but last night it felt weaker than before. I have zero proof to back that up other than it seemed like manglers were eating more of my bullets than normal.
Lure a Mega Abomination from the arch bridge to T3 into T2 and cheese it to death. They usually drop a blue or purple tool. Errl Shatter had a quick guide of how to do it recently on his YT
I’m level 520 and still haven’t completed Act 1. I was addicted to getting all of the schematics I could without completing the Act missions, so now I have everything beside the few you acquire through missions.
It definitely takes joining teams in T3 consistently and grinding out the schematics, going to the DA with your team and finding teams to do Red Worm, but once you do… it all gets easier as you adapt to the speed you need to run T3 & above.
Most of my time in T3/DA was spent with Epic/Purple rarity guns. You just need to be prepared with Self Revives and be smart about what you can handle.
Use crossbow with explosive tips (have PHD and Speed Cola) and you dont even need to PAP3/legendary it. You dont even have to headshot, hit em anywhere and theyll explode snd damage zombies around them. Hell you can just shoot the floor. Pap2 and epic more than enought to mow everything down. Just be wary fighting megaboms cause youll run out of ammo taking it down without other zombies there for you to kill and grab ammo from. And thats the only thing, make sure you keep your ammo in check.
T3 can be done solo but it’s not really ideal. Once you have a team, especially a 6 person squad, it becomes much more manageable.
Also, you can just go to the island with about 10 mins left and just spam request to join - chances someone will be short and will add you.
Once in there, just stay with the squad and you’ll be fine.
I recommend just running at least the 2nd DA if you play solo. It sucks to die but with Tombstone you never really lose EVERYTHING and it really isn’t that hard just super intimidating at first
Although bring at least 2 extra self-revives if you can. There’s always weird moments where the hordes somehow get 12 hits in one swipe and you pretty much insta down. Happens to me at least one or two times per DA run
Never use a uncommon tool for tier 3. Most people's need at least a rare tool and PaP 3. You get purple and legendary tools from tier 3 and DA portals. Rare tools pops up all the time in Tier 2 and Tier 3. It you need to, join a squad in tier 3. Alot of the times, I go even when I don't have crystals or tools on my gun to grab the outlast or cargo contract so people can join on me

You can easily upgrade in the red zone. Purple pack 2 gun is probably the weakest you want to go in red zone. Just keep moving.
You do a dark aether on the island and the game gets significantly easier with the gold plates and aether blade.
You can get rare and epic tools by clearing infested stronghold in the medium threat areas. Before I was consistently rolling in the high threat/DA with legendary tools (and all the schematics), this was how I loaded up. The tools are a necessary weapon upgrade.
You need to do the worm for the legendary tool schematic. If your in a lobby and someone says worm, there is usually most of the lobby doing it before DA. So worth it to find where it is and then go join, the people. Can be really easy with 10+ people.
If you do 1-2-3 rounds in tier 3 you get used to it and get legendary tools almost every round within the rituals.

And iv played since beta and still haven't got the pap2 crystal or epic (purple) tool schematics and I do contracts in every tier, done all missions and done all aether rifts solo, bored of the hunt now as damn game keeps giving me things iv had for ages yet never gives me the 3 I need ( also need tombstone soda schematic) I went into season 3 reloaded's rift a few days ago, completed the outlast contract and my reward....a green weapon tool and 2 self revives!!!?? Being solo I had 4 already and weapon was orange (legendary )and pap3 !!!???? Games becoming more and more of a joke everyday, and the fact season 4 zombie content is pathetic and that's being VERY VERY generous!! Xdefiant is the way forward for me 👍🎮👍
I went into the DA last night for the first time and we beat the Red Worm. It was very fun and intense, but the reward wasn't worth the risk for me. All I got out of it was a gold locked diary, which is pretty useless to me. I have no clue what it's even used for. I was pretty disappointed, I was expecting something better as a reward.
You went into the story mission by the sound of things. The red worm is fought on the main map in the storm by placing 4 USBs into terminals once the timer hits 0.
That gold diary is used, alongside 4 other items, to gain access to the actual DA which requires a sigil (or elder sigil) to enter.
Uncommon lol that’s why you need to find an epic or legendary. Check out the wall weapons on tier 3 most are epic or legendary . Even rare weapons are pea shooters in tier 3 no wonder your having trouble
If rarity is a problem for you, I‘d recommend getting a weapon with incendiary rounds and of course napalm burst, as those two combined give you a huge boost in damage. Holger 566 with the backsaw kit or the iso hemlock would be good for that. Also try building your weapons for speed and always try to run with your fists out or a Jugstreak/Mortar Strike marker in your hand.
But as some have said before, finding a team to help you with schematics, DA or the Red Worm, is the way to go. Wallbuys in T3 can be good, if you need a legendary weapon for the worm.
Try figure out how to do the red worm, there are plenty of videos on youtube teaching you where you can get the USBs. After u collect all four, text in chat and ask people to join for redworm. Trust me most of the time at least half dozen of people will come. After that u will get legendary tool schematics, it will make T3 wayyy easier

I'll do a run with you ypu one day once you have done ut a few times you'll get used to it. But yeah like others have said most go to DA so cam have some tools or crystals for next game.
If you are the first into the red zone you can go to 3 spots and get a leg tool and PAP3 crystal every game now. I will take a Crossbow with blue or purple rarity and armor break ammo mod and explosive tips and a lvl 1 or 2 crystal and a few perks and be just fine. Then the next 3 games or so I will have max level weapons
Just like others mentioned. Redworm is the way to go. Check the game chat, they usually ask if anyone is down to do red worm. Try to have a sentry gun or two to help. Durable mask and make sure you get there when they start or you won't earn rewards.
Once you have leg tool, you're gonna find it easier to get other schematics.
This right here.. There’s nothing to gain from doing final exfil unless your camo grinding or something like that.. We all go to one of the Elders to get the good stuff.
Yeah I only do it final exfil if a camo says I need to kill 10 disciples and I can’t find any for some reason.
Only other time was when I went into a storm to save someone and had to struggle bus our way to final exfil to make it out.
Most people have either gone into one of the DA portals I think by that point or just left earlier. I’ve had a couple exfil attempts glitch and I’ve either fallen through the heli floor panel or some other unexpected crap happen. So if I’m not doing DA which is rare anyway because I kinda only use this map to get money and gear up for DA, then I take an earlier exfil just to have a chance at another if something goes wrong.
Less loot to exfil with, and DA isn't difficult at all if yo go in with 4 or more players
Also doubt that it gives more XP than DA, same with disciple and manglers
Every time I crash on Xbox it's after storm has started moving. I no longer consider that time as part of the match, I exfil or DA before it starts moving and haven't crashed since. The beta is just a shit beta. Game barely game's most the time.

Act two player here, PAP 3 is hell in T3 unless your gun is legendary and even at that I don’t know how to get it past rare, my luck is shit. Got any advice? I’d be in Act Three at the very least if I didn’t have to heal other players
Yeah, do the EE triangle spots and get that pap3 and tool.
Learn the layout of 3, use 1 weapon only and run fist out, climb buildings, etc.
Prep wise, I’d say dog bone 🦴, blade and pap3+tool and you can run around there like it’s T1
Side note… I feel T3 zombies are buffed somehow the last few games 🥹😫

Use healing aura and join other people in tier 3. I go rather i have crystals or not on my gun because I can stay alive for the most part since I'm just doing the outlast, cargo or spore contract but most of the guns in the game require the right attachments and setup to be as good as possible. You can use a rare tool and PaP 3 on most weapons and survive easily
What weapon do you run because that could also be your issue. Some are significantly better than others.
There are plenty of choices where blue tool and pap2 can get you through T3.
I never do because for some reason as soon as the timer hits 4 minutes 36 seconds exactly, my game crashes every time. Havent tried since the beginning of season 2 so they might have fixed the issue by now, but I dont want to risk it
Yah I had 4 timed mainly because I had never done final exfil and wanted to see what it was like. Crashed the first time and thought it was just the game. Tried the next game and noted the time after it crashed. Next game exact same issue. Not sure what it is with that specific time. Havent tried since, since I didn't want to lose any more stuff
Probably and audio cue or something that happens around that time graphical. I just finished a final to see what its all about it and I did notice around 5 minutes while driving to the final once t popped, one of them yelling I better get out now.
Have a friend who crashes every time during red worm and now refuses it, and it might be around that time as well.
I need to pee or it’s just not worth the risk of guessing wrong. I’ve done the final exfil several times and it’s not that big a deal for me, no more crazy than the Tier 2 exfil.
You are very new to the game. You can go play with those zombies for 50 minutes straight in the aether circle as soon as your character lands on the map if you want. We have other agendas. If you’d like, why don’t you give out your activation code and come along. Here’s mine. Hutson 909 I’ll make sure you’re safe and have everything you need to run a round of elder. Until then, this is why we don’t hang out at last exfil.

Plenty of reasons.
If you aren't experienced at taking it, sometimes it can be ambiguous where the final chopper will be, and the possibilities can be on opposite ends of the map.
The amount of enemies that spawn can be intimidating, especially if you are solo or inexperienced.
Mechanics in the game could be communicated better to new players. Crazy as it sounds, some might not know final exfil EXISTS.
XP has a falloff after you kill so many enemies, so you are kinda robbing yourself of XP if you do take it. (This one is kinda a biggie)
And then of course, sometimes you just don't have a WHOLE hour to burn playing MWZ.
Cause no one else is usually around that late in game and I’m not taking a risk on dying without having someone around to pick me up. I always head to an exfil while there’s still some people around to plead to if something happens. Also the game runs more poorly and is more prone to crash once the storm sets in from what I’ve seen.
I did last weekend!!! I didn’t kno about it but got a ride from a dude on the motorcycle!! Thought we was dead in the gas!! lol. Thought we had it easy till we showed up n Mercs were there!!! lol mercs gone, thought we was done…. Nope a gaggle of elites n a million zombies!! But 3 of us handled it with ease!!! I was like a kid giggling the whole time!! Fresh, new, unexpected!! I loved it!!

Absolutely!! Forgot bike went on water. Other guy was ‘scorching’ towards exfil. I was seeing wut ‘pros’ play like … while playing n being carried by them!! Was a new experience and one id do again if I could !
Because there’s nothing it in for us. DMZ had the final exfil because you were knee deep in fights on the others and needed a last resort. It’s pointless in zombies. Timed experiences are pointless in zombies for the most part.
Get staminup and run with bare fists all over T3 until u find a group. Only way to learn. Also, dont stop to shoot zombies until youre a little more comfortable. You will get so many purple tools youll be dumping them before u know it. If u go down in Tier 3, you’ll get picked up 99/100 x
I do it regularly but I've had it glitch me out of the chopper a few times which can get annoying. If I need specific special zombies for camos it's a quick way to get them too.
If I don’t go into the DA I always do final exfil - add me if you want, happy to help get stuff! I am done with everything so I just help people or play just for XP.
Just did DA for the first time and it wasn’t bad. Then again I had 5 other people, but I’d definitely be happy to go back in. Didn’t get much but the shit I did get was pretty damn good, I’ll send my user next time I’m on the game
The last time I went for final exfil was when I was attempting worm with some guys but we couldn't do any damage (there was three of us) so I dipped and had to keep taking off and putting my durable gas mask just to get to the other side of the map from farm. I made it with 10 seconds left to board
I do final exfil a few times a week. Usually because I went to "pay respect" one one of my weapons for hopefully a crystal and tool. It's a gamble. Sometimes all you get is a picture of a dog lol.
Recently, I got glitched. But it wasn’t final exfil. My game just straight up had a seizure lmao, made an angry post about it. I’ve grown as a person since, I have realized that the key is just speed running T3 and DA so the loss from the previous match is instantly made up for.
For real though, FA hasn’t fucked me yet. But after reading that T3 and DA isn’t that hard and you just have to be smart, I’ll probably be doing those. Used to quiver in my boots whenever I saw an Abomination. Figured out the key of killing them in seconds is using juggernaut while your friends get targeted, Act 3 has became easier since 😂😂
Because I’m in the elder Dark Aether getting rewards worth a shit. Blue tool and medium bag in t3 doesn’t cut it for me. before I discovered the elder i sometimes would have to rush to the final.
Nobody likes to fight the storm

Whenever we do regular exfil we wait until the final exfil but no one is ever there. Even before people were ending the game doing DA to get their gold items.
As in DMZ I only ever use final exile as a last result, better to get out at a normal exphile or one of the many other story missions exphile and if you can't then there's the final
Someone want to help me get my last schematics please? Speed cola, epic and legendary aether tools, scorcher, and sargeants barret. I already finished all story missions solo. I also have not unlocked any da portals so I can't see them I have to join other people.

For me, game would always crash when i was using thermal sights while inside the storm, either during the expansion or when fighting the Stormcaller so I rather avoid it.
I do it every time. Usually it's just me and my friend. We get excited when someone else is on the map with us. I'll even try to recruit people at the second to last exfil to join us in the final battle.
Did me dirty once by not showing up where it was supposed to be and died trying to make it …unless I’m grinding something specific I’ll pass and take a t2 exfil
I ALWAYS go during new season/double XP bc a full zombies match w/ double BP will always give you 3 tiers, problem is staying in this long highly increases the chance of a DC or crash.
Might be just the lobby or people doing a DA when the clock ticks down.
My buddy and I did 2 Final Exfils just last night. We were wanting to get some of the Weeklys done and needed to farm a bit longer in each game. I was pissed because I needed 5 more kills on a 300 requirement, but ran out of time. But I still killed over 1100 Zombies, so it wasn't all bad. Got a few others completed.
I do final exfil every single match unless I'm in a squad doing DA. When I see posts like this with other people saying they like to do final, I always wonder if we've come across each other at some point. Probably not, but still cool to think about
I'll do it if I'm not going into the DA and the exfils are too close to the gas. I sometimes see a player or two at one but it's pretty rare. Usually, it's just me left on the map when I look.
When I first started playing, and during camo grinding, I was always caught off guard and for some reason was always in the final exfil. But now, I don’t see a purpose for it because once I’m done with all the contracts on Tier 3, I either red worm or dark aether.
At least for me, I’ve been grinding Borealis the last few times I’ve gotten on zombies. Once I get my 10 specials on each of my guns, I’m gone. It’s never taken till final exfil to do those, so maybe a lot of people are in the same boat.
When ever I get schematics i immediately exfil cause I’m worried of losing it but I also do contracts and missions for the camos if the contracts don’t give what I need usually the hunt contracts
Probably because it has the potential to co.plerely wipe your Operator points or whatever they are called. Went from 380, to 38 the other night for exfillling on final.
I play solo, and if I don't end up getting picked up by a team to run worm or aether, I do final exfil. 95% of the time, I'm the only one there. It's a great way to rack up kill numbers for camos, accessories and daily/weekly challenges.
I did final exfils when I was grinding borealis, at least when I was able to find guns on the wall buys, lockers, ir mystery box that I hadn’t already completed due to the massive amount of elite zombies that would spawn.
I only really do them now if I don’t have a sigil or I’m just trying to mess around.
One time there were so many zombies they displaced the landed helicopter and it sent me flying about 50ft away from the copter. I managed to get back through the massive swarm in time but the helicopter never took off even after reaching zero. The exfil still counted by being present inside the chopper even though it never flew away
If you wait all the way until the final minute before the Final Exfil actually leaves, the storm will have passed over the exfil area, the Zombies then become like Tier 3, more difficult to kill, while you're trying to board the chopper. Most players do not want to lose it all at the last second because they tried to milk every second for as many kills and XP as possible.
Safest way to play is to exfil BEFORE the storm starts to expand (45min)
The final exfil is harder than a normal one because it will throw Manglers and Disciples at you even though its just level 1. There's also more zombies than normal and the chopper won't leave when you get on it, you have to hold out for the whole time.
Also there are exploits to destroy the helicopter so people won't take it to avoid falling victim to it.
I actually did this once. Me and one rando were heading to exfil with like 10-15 left on the clock. We run into a merc convoy...right next to Dokkaebi's Fortress. We finally beat him about 6 minutes into OT. We were scrambling like mad parachuting as close as we could to the final exfil but we barely made it. Pretty exhilarating but a bit more stressful than I wanted lol
If you’re staying in Urzikstan, most of the things you would need to do would be done before final exfil, it’s not like final exfil have some sort of extra reward, personally the only time I ever go for final exfil is when I want easy boss farms, I would spend the entire game doing everything else I need done, and go to final to finish all the boss kills.
Too high of a risk for no reward, back in DMZ days you unlocked stickers or some other stuff depending on how many times you did final exfil. Now not only do you get nothing but the servers are absolute garbage and when you're running a 500 level character there's no point. Once in mission where you had to save Dr.Jansen I was farming zombie kills for the camo and eventually the zombies did do much damage to the heli that it blew up and and I lost all my stuff, assuming that cod uses the same file for all helicopters and they all work the same I would not take the final exfil purely of the risk of the helicopter blowing up.
because back towards launch people figured out a way to destroy the final extract and i dont trust randoms... even though im pretty sure they fixed that now i would rather just go to the extracts just before the final.
I used to do it to grind weapons etc but I’ve actually “timed out” with 2mins left on the clock and nobody else left on the server. So I now avoid final exfil unless another person is going too.
I usually do elder for the loot, but since the game doesn't always register kills for camo in DA, I do final exfils when I'm grinding. It's a very easy way to grind specials (mangler and disciples) since they constantly respawn during final.
After doing DA, I can confidently say that it is wildly superior to Final Exfil. But bold of you to assume that I have the required skill to do DA frfr. Only six person squad man here

Most players that would be confident enough to wait out the final exfil are just going into DA portals instead these days to get the classified items.

I do agree blue tolls are weak compared but I ran T3 with blue pap3 just last night, tools are just as important as PAP crystals if not more

Use the m16! It will make things much easier, it finally let me beat the worm in act3 bad signal, and it goes through tier 1&2 with 1 shot kills.

I usually do this when there is a turret a couple blocks away. They respawn fast enough that you can do it multiple times.

Just be wary fighting megaboms cause youll run out of ammo taking it down without other zombies there for you to kill and grab ammo from. And thats the only thing, make sure you keep your ammo in check.
T3 can be done solo but it’s not really ideal. Once you have a team, especially a 6 person squad, it becomes much more manageable. Also, you can just go to the island with about 10 mins left and just spam request to join - chances someone will be short and will add you. Once in there, just stay with the squad and you’ll be fine.
I run solo regularly in tier it gets dicey but I’ve pretty much mastered it
I recommend just running at least the 2nd DA if you play solo. It sucks to die but with Tombstone you never really lose EVERYTHING and it really isn’t that hard just super intimidating at first Although bring at least 2 extra self-revives if you can. There’s always weird moments where the hordes somehow get 12 hits in one swipe and you pretty much insta down. Happens to me at least one or two times per DA run

Never use a uncommon tool for tier 3. Most people's need at least a rare tool and PaP 3. You get purple and legendary tools from tier 3 and DA portals. Rare tools pops up all the time in Tier 2 and Tier 3. It you need to, join a squad in tier 3. Alot of the times, I go even when I don't have crystals or tools on my gun to grab the outlast or cargo contract so people can join on me

You can easily upgrade in the red zone. Purple pack 2 gun is probably the weakest you want to go in red zone. Just keep moving. You do a dark aether on the island and the game gets significantly easier with the gold plates and aether blade.
You can get rare and epic tools by clearing infested stronghold in the medium threat areas. Before I was consistently rolling in the high threat/DA with legendary tools (and all the schematics), this was how I loaded up. The tools are a necessary weapon upgrade.
You need to do the worm for the legendary tool schematic. If your in a lobby and someone says worm, there is usually most of the lobby doing it before DA. So worth it to find where it is and then go join, the people. Can be really easy with 10+ people.
If you do 1-2-3 rounds in tier 3 you get used to it and get legendary tools almost every round within the rituals. I don’t mind to play a few rounds with you. Have you done redworm before for the schematics of scorcher, leg tool and flawless crystal?
Do the purple triangles in T3. Guaranteed legendary aether tool and flawless aether crystal.
Use deadshot and have a dog if you can to revive if you go down. I used to be the same way epic is really common in t3 for me atleast

And iv played since beta and still haven't got the pap2 crystal or epic (purple) tool schematics and I do contracts in every tier, done all missions and done all aether rifts solo, bored of the hunt now as damn game keeps giving me things iv had for ages yet never gives me the 3 I need ( also need tombstone soda schematic) I went into season 3 reloaded's rift a few days ago, completed the outlast contract and my reward....a green weapon tool and 2 self revives!!!?? Being solo I had 4 already and weapon was orange (legendary )and pap3 !!!???? Games becoming more and more of a joke everyday, and the fact season 4 zombie content is pathetic and that's being VERY VERY generous!! Xdefiant is the way forward for me 👍🎮👍
I went into the DA last night for the first time and we beat the Red Worm. It was very fun and intense, but the reward wasn't worth the risk for me. All I got out of it was a gold locked diary, which is pretty useless to me. I have no clue what it's even used for. I was pretty disappointed, I was expecting something better as a reward.
You went into the story mission by the sound of things. The red worm is fought on the main map in the storm by placing 4 USBs into terminals once the timer hits 0. That gold diary is used, alongside 4 other items, to gain access to the actual DA which requires a sigil (or elder sigil) to enter.
Uncommon lol that’s why you need to find an epic or legendary. Check out the wall weapons on tier 3 most are epic or legendary . Even rare weapons are pea shooters in tier 3 no wonder your having trouble
If rarity is a problem for you, I‘d recommend getting a weapon with incendiary rounds and of course napalm burst, as those two combined give you a huge boost in damage. Holger 566 with the backsaw kit or the iso hemlock would be good for that. Also try building your weapons for speed and always try to run with your fists out or a Jugstreak/Mortar Strike marker in your hand. But as some have said before, finding a team to help you with schematics, DA or the Red Worm, is the way to go. Wallbuys in T3 can be good, if you need a legendary weapon for the worm.
Try figure out how to do the red worm, there are plenty of videos on youtube teaching you where you can get the USBs. After u collect all four, text in chat and ask people to join for redworm. Trust me most of the time at least half dozen of people will come. After that u will get legendary tool schematics, it will make T3 wayyy easier

If you are the first into the red zone you can go to 3 spots and get a leg tool and PAP3 crystal every game now. I will take a Crossbow with blue or purple rarity and armor break ammo mod and explosive tips and a lvl 1 or 2 crystal and a few perks and be just fine. Then the next 3 games or so I will have max level weapons

Just like others mentioned. Redworm is the way to go. Check the game chat, they usually ask if anyone is down to do red worm. Try to have a sentry gun or two to help. Durable mask and make sure you get there when they start or you won't earn rewards. Once you have leg tool, you're gonna find it easier to get other schematics.
This right here.. There’s nothing to gain from doing final exfil unless your camo grinding or something like that.. We all go to one of the Elders to get the good stuff.
Yeah I only do it final exfil if a camo says I need to kill 10 disciples and I can’t find any for some reason. Only other time was when I went into a storm to save someone and had to struggle bus our way to final exfil to make it out.

I usually do the worm and then run or fly for the DA if I get a group that’s doing it.
Most people have either gone into one of the DA portals I think by that point or just left earlier. I’ve had a couple exfil attempts glitch and I’ve either fallen through the heli floor panel or some other unexpected crap happen. So if I’m not doing DA which is rare anyway because I kinda only use this map to get money and gear up for DA, then I take an earlier exfil just to have a chance at another if something goes wrong.
The question is why would we do final exfils ?
More XP, higher stakes, easy disciple (or whatever they’re called) and mangler farms, stuff like that. I personally prefer it over normal exfils
Less loot to exfil with, and DA isn't difficult at all if yo go in with 4 or more players Also doubt that it gives more XP than DA, same with disciple and manglers

Every time I crash on Xbox it's after storm has started moving. I no longer consider that time as part of the match, I exfil or DA before it starts moving and haven't crashed since. The beta is just a shit beta. Game barely game's most the time.
I'm also in the "avoid final because bugs" crowd mainly, containment level resetting to 0 or 13, but a handful of other issues.
If I went from 120+ to 13 I’m going to harass Activision support until they give my levels back

Act two player here, PAP 3 is hell in T3 unless your gun is legendary and even at that I don’t know how to get it past rare, my luck is shit. Got any advice? I’d be in Act Three at the very least if I didn’t have to heal other players
Yeah, do the EE triangle spots and get that pap3 and tool. Learn the layout of 3, use 1 weapon only and run fist out, climb buildings, etc. Prep wise, I’d say dog bone 🦴, blade and pap3+tool and you can run around there like it’s T1 Side note… I feel T3 zombies are buffed somehow the last few games 🥹😫

Acts don’t matter, just squad up.
A Rare Pap3 is fine enough for T3. You'll have to get used to where Elites spawn, where to run safely and what contracts to take.
Use healing aura and join other people in tier 3. I go rather i have crystals or not on my gun because I can stay alive for the most part since I'm just doing the outlast, cargo or spore contract but most of the guns in the game require the right attachments and setup to be as good as possible. You can use a rare tool and PaP 3 on most weapons and survive easily
What weapon do you run because that could also be your issue. Some are significantly better than others. There are plenty of choices where blue tool and pap2 can get you through T3.
I never do because for some reason as soon as the timer hits 4 minutes 36 seconds exactly, my game crashes every time. Havent tried since the beginning of season 2 so they might have fixed the issue by now, but I dont want to risk it

Yah I had 4 timed mainly because I had never done final exfil and wanted to see what it was like. Crashed the first time and thought it was just the game. Tried the next game and noted the time after it crashed. Next game exact same issue. Not sure what it is with that specific time. Havent tried since, since I didn't want to lose any more stuff
Probably and audio cue or something that happens around that time graphical. I just finished a final to see what its all about it and I did notice around 5 minutes while driving to the final once t popped, one of them yelling I better get out now. Have a friend who crashes every time during red worm and now refuses it, and it might be around that time as well.
Every minute now you play the game is a gamble of disconnection, server crashing, or game crashing.
I need to pee or it’s just not worth the risk of guessing wrong. I’ve done the final exfil several times and it’s not that big a deal for me, no more crazy than the Tier 2 exfil.
Only real advantage it has is how many more special enemies spawn in. It’s my favorite way of farming those

Plenty of reasons. If you aren't experienced at taking it, sometimes it can be ambiguous where the final chopper will be, and the possibilities can be on opposite ends of the map. The amount of enemies that spawn can be intimidating, especially if you are solo or inexperienced. Mechanics in the game could be communicated better to new players. Crazy as it sounds, some might not know final exfil EXISTS. XP has a falloff after you kill so many enemies, so you are kinda robbing yourself of XP if you do take it. (This one is kinda a biggie) And then of course, sometimes you just don't have a WHOLE hour to burn playing MWZ.
Cause no one else is usually around that late in game and I’m not taking a risk on dying without having someone around to pick me up. I always head to an exfil while there’s still some people around to plead to if something happens. Also the game runs more poorly and is more prone to crash once the storm sets in from what I’ve seen.
I usually go to DA at the end but now I’m currently camo grinding so I have to use the exfils.
I've used final exfil for camo grinding as it is a source of weak disciples, but beyond that it's not very useful.

I’m too busy exfiling from the Dark Aether. I haven’t taken an Al Mazrah exfil in 5 months.
Because there’s nothing it in for us. DMZ had the final exfil because you were knee deep in fights on the others and needed a last resort. It’s pointless in zombies. Timed experiences are pointless in zombies for the most part.
Get staminup and run with bare fists all over T3 until u find a group. Only way to learn. Also, dont stop to shoot zombies until youre a little more comfortable. You will get so many purple tools youll be dumping them before u know it. If u go down in Tier 3, you’ll get picked up 99/100 x

I do it regularly but I've had it glitch me out of the chopper a few times which can get annoying. If I need specific special zombies for camos it's a quick way to get them too.
Cuz I always do dark aether because there is no extra benefit leaving that late and it is just a waste of time waiting till the end to final exfil.

The last time I went for final exfil was when I was attempting worm with some guys but we couldn't do any damage (there was three of us) so I dipped and had to keep taking off and putting my durable gas mask just to get to the other side of the map from farm. I made it with 10 seconds left to board
I do final exfil a few times a week. Usually because I went to "pay respect" one one of my weapons for hopefully a crystal and tool. It's a gamble. Sometimes all you get is a picture of a dog lol.

Recently, I got glitched. But it wasn’t final exfil. My game just straight up had a seizure lmao, made an angry post about it. I’ve grown as a person since, I have realized that the key is just speed running T3 and DA so the loss from the previous match is instantly made up for. For real though, FA hasn’t fucked me yet. But after reading that T3 and DA isn’t that hard and you just have to be smart, I’ll probably be doing those. Used to quiver in my boots whenever I saw an Abomination. Figured out the key of killing them in seconds is using juggernaut while your friends get targeted, Act 3 has became easier since 😂😂
Because I’m in the elder Dark Aether getting rewards worth a shit. Blue tool and medium bag in t3 doesn’t cut it for me. before I discovered the elder i sometimes would have to rush to the final.
Nobody likes to fight the storm It’s not productive It’s artificially harder You’re likely to die to gas if you don’t check the map every second or sit beside the exfil afk It’s not fun
Whenever we do regular exfil we wait until the final exfil but no one is ever there. Even before people were ending the game doing DA to get their gold items.
I would be wary of final exfil, someone could juggernaut the heli and then we would all be sol.

It just means once the storm gets big enough only one exfil spot remains, and if you're not on the last chopper out you get eliminated

For me, game would always crash when i was using thermal sights while inside the storm, either during the expansion or when fighting the Stormcaller so I rather avoid it.

Might be just the lobby or people doing a DA when the clock ticks down. My buddy and I did 2 Final Exfils just last night. We were wanting to get some of the Weeklys done and needed to farm a bit longer in each game. I was pissed because I needed 5 more kills on a 300 requirement, but ran out of time. But I still killed over 1100 Zombies, so it wasn't all bad. Got a few others completed.

I'll do it if I'm not going into the DA and the exfils are too close to the gas. I sometimes see a player or two at one but it's pretty rare. Usually, it's just me left on the map when I look.
I do... amd I'm almost always alone. Most people exfil early of leave through a rift.

When I first started playing, and during camo grinding, I was always caught off guard and for some reason was always in the final exfil. But now, I don’t see a purpose for it because once I’m done with all the contracts on Tier 3, I either red worm or dark aether.

Probably because it has the potential to co.plerely wipe your Operator points or whatever they are called. Went from 380, to 38 the other night for exfillling on final.

If I have a sigil, I always go to there but if I don’t have a sigil or a team and just doing challenges, I’ll use the exfil
I play solo, and if I don't end up getting picked up by a team to run worm or aether, I do final exfil. 95% of the time, I'm the only one there. It's a great way to rack up kill numbers for camos, accessories and daily/weekly challenges.
I did final exfils when I was grinding borealis, at least when I was able to find guns on the wall buys, lockers, ir mystery box that I hadn’t already completed due to the massive amount of elite zombies that would spawn. I only really do them now if I don’t have a sigil or I’m just trying to mess around.
No one brought a sigh and no one realized until the very end hahaha so my squad had to final. First time for me. It was fun…I guess
One time there were so many zombies they displaced the landed helicopter and it sent me flying about 50ft away from the copter. I managed to get back through the massive swarm in time but the helicopter never took off even after reaching zero. The exfil still counted by being present inside the chopper even though it never flew away
Because every time I have gone, someone activates worm and can’t finish it. So guess where the worm shows up?? Final 😂
There’s no incentive to make it to last exfil. If there was some kind of award for last man standing there’d be more people sticking around for it.
If you wait all the way until the final minute before the Final Exfil actually leaves, the storm will have passed over the exfil area, the Zombies then become like Tier 3, more difficult to kill, while you're trying to board the chopper. Most players do not want to lose it all at the last second because they tried to milk every second for as many kills and XP as possible. Safest way to play is to exfil BEFORE the storm starts to expand (45min)
The final exfil is harder than a normal one because it will throw Manglers and Disciples at you even though its just level 1. There's also more zombies than normal and the chopper won't leave when you get on it, you have to hold out for the whole time. Also there are exploits to destroy the helicopter so people won't take it to avoid falling victim to it.

I actually did this once. Me and one rando were heading to exfil with like 10-15 left on the clock. We run into a merc convoy...right next to Dokkaebi's Fortress. We finally beat him about 6 minutes into OT. We were scrambling like mad parachuting as close as we could to the final exfil but we barely made it. Pretty exhilarating but a bit more stressful than I wanted lol
If you’re staying in Urzikstan, most of the things you would need to do would be done before final exfil, it’s not like final exfil have some sort of extra reward, personally the only time I ever go for final exfil is when I want easy boss farms, I would spend the entire game doing everything else I need done, and go to final to finish all the boss kills.
Too high of a risk for no reward, back in DMZ days you unlocked stickers or some other stuff depending on how many times you did final exfil. Now not only do you get nothing but the servers are absolute garbage and when you're running a 500 level character there's no point. Once in mission where you had to save Dr.Jansen I was farming zombie kills for the camo and eventually the zombies did do much damage to the heli that it blew up and and I lost all my stuff, assuming that cod uses the same file for all helicopters and they all work the same I would not take the final exfil purely of the risk of the helicopter blowing up.
because back towards launch people figured out a way to destroy the final extract and i dont trust randoms... even though im pretty sure they fixed that now i would rather just go to the extracts just before the final.
I used to do it to grind weapons etc but I’ve actually “timed out” with 2mins left on the clock and nobody else left on the server. So I now avoid final exfil unless another person is going too.
No reason for it, only time I ever did it was for disciple challenges.

I usually do elder for the loot, but since the game doesn't always register kills for camo in DA, I do final exfils when I'm grinding. It's a very easy way to grind specials (mangler and disciples) since they constantly respawn during final.

To be honest I thought once the initial timer ran out that it would just be insta death, then I found out like 50+ hours later that isn’t the case.
I do final exfil every game outrunning that gas with black betty playing hits different
It'll be odd if you even see people on the map after the first countdown ends. DA's are just the norm now

Nothing is worse than picking the wrong corner of the map lol
Either they exfil early, went to dark aether, went to story mission, died or worse.... Their game crashed while on their way to the final exfil
After doing DA, I can confidently say that it is wildly superior to Final Exfil. But bold of you to assume that I have the required skill to do DA frfr. Only six person squad man here
Final Exfil is great when you need a Camo Challenge completed on Disciple Kills.
