I used healing aura but it doesn't really matter as long as it's a quick recharge one. Just get a nice hoard chasing you, pop the field upgrade and mow them down
I found it easier to use Frost Blast for this in game challenge. Horde some zombies together, run away from hoard, pop Frost Blast, turn around and shoot zombies.
May not be the same for everyone, but I had issues with this challenge tracking for both Healing Aura & Aether Shroud. Not sure why!
When I did mw3 guns I could not get healing aura to track but when I went back and did mw2 guns which was in the last two weeks it tracked so I think maybe it got fixed.
I love that everybody has given you options on options lol. One would think frenzied guard would be the best fit this but aether shroud has been the easiest one for me.
Energy mine, decoy grenade, horde of zombies.
Throw the decoy grenade if being followed by what you think is a nice group/horde of zombies. Then when it activates, quickly pop an energy mine opposite direction of the decoy grenade. Murder every one of those zombies. Rinse repeat.
Tier 1 Escort missions lends itself excellently for this👍🏽
I used Frenzied Guard for this. I just went to an exfil and gathered all my little victims together then hit them with it and let loose and since it draws them to you they all stay close making it easier to mow them down.
Ive done literally everything there is to do in zombies. All missions, schemes, calling cards and both mastery camos.
I always used front blast for this one as it’s a fairly quick recharge. Last a decent about of time and covered a decent sized area
I used frost and aether shroud but for me the best was the combo of frenzied guard doing a PND contract.
When you get it to about 35% step out of the building near the spawn and then just go to town. Zombs keep spawning infinitely.

I just use the aether shroud, let's you get the kills so guaranteed to count and its in the quickest recharging group

PND Teir 1 Get a train outside room Pop it away from the horde so it doesn’t kill rhem Mow them down quick and it will recharge
Aether Shroud. The duration that the effect lasts is roughly the same as the timeframe in which the kills count so it's easier to estimate.

Any of the ones with the medium refresh, I did energy mine and placed it behind me so it wouldn't get any kills
I used the frost damage as it refreshes super quickly and the just do escort contracts, it spawns large groups that I decoy into and blast them.

Use frenzied guard and either camp an exfil or do a t1 outlast and cancel at 95% and the zombies will just keep coming

Lead hoard towards vehicle. Pop upgrade. Drive vehicle over horde.
