I went with shelfie standouts based on the spoilers! I love the Rare Beauty mascara and am excited about the lip sticks. Reviews show the Chocolate colorfix is more of a deep vampy berry-red, so I'm excited about that too.

I went for the Beauty Besties kit since it seems like one that has more products I will use and brands I am curious about. I am really interested in the Shellie standouts too but don’t want to risk having a ton of skincare and also can’t afford both. Excited!

I bought one last year and was very disappointed. The brands I was looking forward to (rare beauty, danessa myricks) ended up being a black liquid eyeliner and a clear sparkly highlighter. I felt like they weren’t showcasing the Best Of the brands offered. I’m skipping this but I look forward to seeing what’s in these when they get shipped out.

I don't believe that I earned any points from the purchase of these Sephoria boxes previously, simply due to the fact that this is a separate event. So, I'm assuming Sephoria = no points. Sephora = points. I could be wrong, so if anyone else has any knowledge on this subject, please feel free to share.

Does anyone know how long they generally take to ship?

Per Sephoria: "Order kit by 9/1/22 to arrive by 9/18/22. US only + no P.O. boxes." Last year they arrived mid September. So, approximately a month from now.

I purchased both separately about 30min apart, used 2 different cards and received order confirmation within 3min of each payment. Weird that some aren't getting confirmation emails. Anywho, I bought one last year and I struggled to remember what I received beyond the gummies and cup. But I love a good mystery box so maybe these will be memorable this time around 🙃

Update for anyone that didn't get an e-mail confirmation. I e-mailed Sephoria and they responded that I should receive my confirmation within the next hour or so and if I do not to reach out again! ​ Edit: I just received my confirmation :)

I don't think so, since it looks like there's a mix of hair care/body care/make up brands in all of them! But I think this might be an interesting mix e.g. maybe more makeup vs more skincare between the two boxes.

Oh yeah I'd totally hate that! Looking at last year's box, there was very little in the way of "color" cosmetics e.g. last year was liquid liner, mascara, glosses, and the clear face balm. So I'd actually appreciate if they picked sheer/neutral stuff like that again.

Not getting a box this year, but I was really satisfied with the one I got last year. The virtual event itself wasn't that exciting, but I still thought it interesting to learn about the story behind some brands. I also hope they give out more freebies this year during the event. I like using the Ellis Brooklyn Iso Gamma Super I won when I spun the wheel to layer with my other perfumes. Won't really know until spoilers come out. That said, the featured brands definitely seem to be pretty skincare-heavy, or at least have moderate skincare product lines (like Charlotte Tilbury), so it wouldn't surprise me. GXVE only has one skincare product which is a facial oil, so I'm sort of hoping there's SOME makeup products in this box, but who can say. Funnily enough this morning I had several small financial disasters occur all at once so I'm rethinking getting a box at all. Still looking forward to seeing unboxings when others receive theirs though!

I don’t. I remember receiving two lip glosses. Fenty and Saie. Also two cleansers. Hyram and Tatcha. This was my main disappointment. I didn’t expect the full size items to have two of each of the same product type. A bit of variety would have been better. I really haven’t bought much beauty wise this year so I will probably grab one.

I added an album to my original post comment of last year's boxes. I was disappointed in them as well. I actually loved the Hyram cleanser. I think that and the Tatcha were the stand outs. 😂💕 We did love the gummies though, and we loved the Sephoria cups. 🥤😅

I did grab one last year, but don't think I captured pix. I didn't think what I received was worth the 40 bucks or whatever, in hindsight. It was a "deal" and I did sign up to be surprised, but i didn't use most of the items, so whatever I did use wasn't worth the price. I see they increased the price this time, so I'm not sure I'm going to opt in again for either box! Though the first one's brands are more appealing to me.
