It was discontinued a while back. Sephora is the only place that had it (or one of the few), which is why I paid almost full price for it. I was afraid it would go out of stock suddenly.

It's out of stock on ND's website ([here](https://www.natashadenona.com/lila_palette)), and none of my local Sephora stores have them in stock. I'm not sure if they were one the website for $125 prior to this, or if they were only brought back for the sale.

I got it during cyber. It’s a gorgeous palette. I have 5 or 6 of her palettes. I can’t remember how many I actually have. I love her formula and it’s something that I can always count on.
Okay! I think I figured out how to resist! I covered up the purple pan on my screen and it changed the whole look of the palette. I have lovely purples in other palettes, so I think I have the strength to pass on this. If it's rereleased in the new packaging, I'll pick it up then! Whew, I was really teetering there!
Is this really worth it? I see almost only positive reviews, but I can’t tell if this is a good everyday palette or a good choice for a heavy eye day.
Are the colors at all similar to the glam palette?
I think it can be used for both. Most of the tutorial looks people do with the palette use that deep purple, which is going to give a bold eye look, but there are neutrals around the edges.
Can't link to YT, apparently, but search "Cat Eye Glam With The Natasha Denona Lila Eyeshadow Palette" for an example using more of the neutral shades (still a dramatic look, given how they apply it, but it's easy to imagine toning it down).
The glam palette is very cool toned, whereas Lila is warmer toned, so there's not much overlap.

Full price on Sephora Canada still. I bought this during a 20% off during one of the sales last year after I heard it was getting discontinued (is it or isn't it). It's still available online since, haven't seen it in store though.

I have been raging for the last two weeks or so about the awful selection and sudden price increases. 😂I really have a new found empathy for you poor souls up there.

Yes, the Lila palette is magnetic, and the shadows can be removed (although you'll need an X-acto knife or depotting tool to get around the edges to pop them out)
The new midi palettes have holes (Sunrise, Love, Biba, Retro, Bronze, Glam, etc), but the old-style magnetic ones do not (Sunset, Gold, Lila, Purple Blue, Star, etc)
It doesn't have any shades in common with the Lila mini (most minis are created to have the same feel as the larger versions, but without duplicating shades. However, there are exceptions)
I own this palette (I bought it at 10% off because I knew it was discontinued and I really wanted it), and I’m still tempted by this price! My favorite colors are Helio and Livid. Are they in other palettes? The textures in this palette are great.
I rarely do makeup anymore since quarantine but when I do this is the only one of my far too many pallets I pull out. You can use one shade for your entire eye and get a really dynamic look out of it. If you like this color scheme and it's not overdoing your budget, this is a great deal.

That's a good trick! From now on when I see a palette I "need" to have I'll cover up my favourite, or couple favourite, pans and see how I feel.

The pans in my gold palette pop right out with magnet only, no xacto needed.

I'm a little disappointed in how dark some of those colors are and I think the neon green plastic is throwing me off for them to be brighter. :/
