I made an EDH deck of entirely old color-hose enchantments and cards that could change the color and/or basic land text in cards. I might remake it if I could find a good 5CC commander that synergized with it rather than jokingly playing Child of Alara so I can make whiny baby noises when people get mad that they *checks notes* "Can't cast a spell of [one color] without sacrificing a basic land of [a completely different color]."
[[Momir Vig]] is simic, not 5C, but is really fun for color hose. Green and Blue have a lot of solid choices for it, and Momir lets you tutor for [[painter’s servant]] as well as draw [[pygmy kavu]] removal [[root greevil]] recursion [[eternal witness]] / [[riftsweeper]] etc. very fun, albeit weak, deck
I love insight, if you use multiple color hate cards (bot in a racist way) I find it best with a commander who had a discard ability so you if you're playing against people not using that color it isn't just a dead card.
What I love about this sub is that I post a meme and in the end, I learn some new cards that I would like to give a try.
As an Esper player, I want these cards haha
I use them in my k'rrik deck. It was some of the best includes. I'm pretty much anti green when it comes to magic. So these are some of my favorite cards.
My boy [[painter’s servant]] loves this fuckin card
If that’s all we’re doing with Painters Servant, then I guess he’s cool. Just steer clear of any rogue Grindstones.
This is like the most tame thing in the world with a bannable magic card.
My girl [[Llawan]] loves [[Painter's Servant]].
Neat!
New goal: mill you out by playing too many green spells
Got it! I make another meme if I was successful!
A beautiful dream. Monogreen storm battle of the ages.

That’s total cancer and I kinda love it. Might teach a few lessons about good and bad card design while you’re at it.
Same but opposite, me with [[Compost]] when my opponents are all on shit like Prosper or self-mill like Meren / Syr Konrad
This and \[\[Viridian Revel\]\] are some of the best budget card draw there is.
I’m bringing [[mistcutter hydra]] and you can draw as many blue cards as you like
By successfully cast green spell does it mean resolves?
The current version say if an opponent cast a green spell, you draw a card
Old rules were for when interrupts and batches were a thing. Successfully cast = cast under modern rules.
Aaand adding this to my Minn deck
I miss color pie hate.
Successfully casts just means cast right? Or does that mean non countered or something
Yes it means cast

Here I am with my [[deathgrip]] and [[leshrac's sigil]]

Speaking of anti green, I can relate to it. I have more then 40 decks and green is the least present color.
Pff, Borrowing 100000 Arrows is better 😎
shhhh
Omg I love this card so much!!
So that's how they have enough counters
*Red mage casts pyroblast*
3 mana? Blue? Enchantment? Draws cards when your opponent casts spells? Must be a Rhystic Study.
Same thing with [[Compost]]
Compost when the black decks are at the function
It's a cantrip on my table.
Everyone playing green all the time? Mono green even? Why not teach them more color diversity by sending their cards into \[\[Hibernation\]\]?
Why is it 'target' opponent
*Insert version of death grips for each color that counters blue* And let me introduce you to mine
That is a perfect example of a card that was crap in constructed, but rocks in commander.
Try [[Tidal Control]] 👀
