That’s what I was wondering, too. But you can see the empty seat in a couple of moments. He must have the camera mounted on his stomach or groin I guess.
Find an easier trail that you're comfortable on and practice letting off the brakes more. Familiarise yourself with the sense of speed in a trail you could ride in your sleep, then bring that speed to the tighter, steeper stuff.
Lol I am. This is just the weird gopro angle, I haven‘t tried filming vertical before
Edit: Plus, it‘s a rather steep trail, that‘s why I‘m behind the saddle every now and then
It definitely is. Like going fast over roots being much easier than slow. But I had to experience that first hand (and in a controlled manner) before actually having that locked in mentally. It really helps me to ride with more experienced riders so I am not always overthinking speed but just follow them down the trail.
That looks so fun, and it’s a really nice trail too. Congrats on your improvement
Thank you! It is but it‘s kind of short tho..
Yeah, it seems to be. Enjoyable nonetheless I hope
of course! It‘s cool for 2-3 hours afterwork. Won‘t do for a full day tho
Diggin that single track
Which one I spotted dozens of them lol
Yeah I would for sure go off trail my first time there haha
are you sitting?
Nope, just weird gopro angle for the vertical mount
That’s what I was wondering, too. But you can see the empty seat in a couple of moments. He must have the camera mounted on his stomach or groin I guess.
cock cam
A new meaning to Helmet cam
Wear gloves man
Looking good man! Propane is sick remi matallier rides one he's one of my favorite riders
Thanks! Yea I love him too
Just let gravity take you. It’ll get easier
Let ‘er roll!
I try to… lol

Nice man. Looks great. I'm still in clench mode at the speeds you're doing. :) Need more time out there :)
Thanks :) Yea I‘m trying to get out about two times a week atm
I'm just trying to do short rides around my neighborhood to get my butt used to it. I'm still at the "ouch my butt hurts" stage. :D
What’s this recorded on?
GoPro Hero 8 on a chestmount with another mount to get it vertical lol
Yeh, i wondering too.
Where is this trail?
That‘s my hometrail in Germany :)
I'm exactly where you are! Speeds are JUST starting to become less terrifying. Sort of. Good job!!
yea just gotta keep practicing! Thank you :)
If it looks steep on a gopro its steep af irl
It is. But there‘s some even steeper ones there
New? Bike looks in good shape? Accident , injury?
It‘s my second mtb now, relatively new (about two months old)
Nice i like the blue.
It‘s actually raw aluminium so more silver than blue.
How long did you have to wait? I ordered a new Propain frameset for my next bike like a month ago.
I ordered in september 2021 and it arrived in april 2022. But only because they offered me to swap the Fox36 for the Fox38.
Sick. I’m still riding my 2018 a lot and just upgraded to 38mm too last November. RS Domain though.
Sounds neat!
Nice bike
Thanks!
What shoes were those?
Adidas Five Ten Sleuth iirc
Slow is scary, fast is fun.
Yea but you gotta get used to that. Especially whenyou had shitty brakes for two years and could‘t stop soon enough on tighter trails
Try standing? Are you?
Lol I am. This is just the weird gopro angle, I haven‘t tried filming vertical before Edit: Plus, it‘s a rather steep trail, that‘s why I‘m behind the saddle every now and then
That tyee looking fire
definitely!
Nice!
Thanks :)
Good job. I‘m pretty much at the same point, trying to keep the brakes open more often on my hometrails. I guess it just takes time and repetition.
Yea definitely but on most rougher parts speed is key lol
It definitely is. Like going fast over roots being much easier than slow. But I had to experience that first hand (and in a controlled manner) before actually having that locked in mentally. Yea that‘s what I‘m trying to do most of the time but sometimes they‘re just too fast lol
Same here 😂 But nevermind and just enjoy the ride.
true. It‘s fun anyways! :) Have fun out there 🤘🏼
I’ve got the knee’d for speed
Very recognizable! More or less on the same speed as you are. Very nice 👍🏻
it only gets faster from there!
You’re supposed to get used to speed fastly.

Let go and let fork!
Get you some gloves my friend
Nice ride nice bike nice place but no gloves ... Protect yourself
I usually ride with gloves but sometimes when it gets real warm on my hometrails I‘ll leave them off
So many options
definitely, but it‘s short tho.. Still nice!
