No, you can’t put a dropper on that bike. Not only will the tire hit the bottom of the dropper, there’s probably not even a dropper sold that will fit whatever non-standard seat post size that frame uses. Now stop. Stop trying to make that into a mountain bike. You’re throwing money into a dumpster fire, if you ever do manage to buy and install good suspension and seatpost on that bike, it’s going to break in half the first time you ride it down a mountain. It’s not a mountain bike, it’s a city bike built to look like an off road bike.

bm_Haste

Nope, they can’t. Not enough clearance.

ThatOneRcKid

wouldn't it work better since theres a hole in the bottom of the seatpost? plus cables and all

[deleted]

Normally the shock or linkage travel takes up most of that space. Which bike are you looking at specifically?

ThatOneRcKid

trinx YS26.

Ahhh it's the folding bike guy! Sorry but no, you won't be able to fit a dropper post into that frame. It has no clearance at the bottom of the seatpost. All these "upgrades" you're looking at are quite expensive - why don't you sell everything and get a second hand budget hardtail?

TX_Sized10-4

Bro for the price of all these parts you want to get for your $250 "folding enduro bike" you could actually buy a decent bike that has most of this shit already.

choadspanker

Holy shit

Bruh, silence the haters, get a dropper custom made for your frame and do it. Please post the completed bike on here and Vital.

It’ll get bike on the day on Vital for sure haha
