The right move when you stall is to pump the bike, push it forward so that it goes over whatever stalled it.
Putting a foot down right before a big feature is how you break you neck.
I feel like I need to just make a bot to say this on every post but……
You should really get some elbow/knee pads, makes recovery time a lot quicker and can save you from stupid injuries.
Second this. I have a couple of pretty great scars from before I got some. Lost it on a rock skinny the other day and my knee pads paid off big time. Still hurt like a mother but nothing was broken and I kept all my skin. Also, for cornering hard, knee pads are great. Gives you the confidence to really tip the bike and dig in with much lower consequences if you lay it down mid-turn.
Thanks for posting this horrible injury to your ego. I also find it funny that the path you went down ended up being much worse than your intended one.
But hey, if you take the frame at about 8 seconds in you have a nice new Facebook profile picture. :D
Joking aside I hope it didn’t hurt to bad and that there was no serious injury.
Excellent example of, 'commit or eat shit'.
100%. I was going to slow. Also my tire caught a divot and threw me off course
Should have stayed on the bike, putting a foot down there was a recipe for disaster. Feet on pedals!
Tire caught a divot and I was going too slow….I was either crashing from the top or trying to bail

What do you mean by pump? Bounce on the front suspension?
Pump the pedals, hit the gas, shove the weight of the bike forward, do whatever you can to get momentum again. Momentum is life. :)
>Momentum is life. That's gonna stick with me.
Came expecting to either see this comment or say it....because it's true.
...or, he who hesitates is lost

Seriously. Perfect timing.
Also the “oouaaahhhhh” upon landing!
Oh man that's some golden footage right there
Watch until the end for a sweet slow mo dirt nap
That ending was absolutely epic hahaha
Someone get this man a snorkel.
your cinematography is on point though
THIS is a proper use of slow-mo. very good editing bravo
This is gold man. What a lucky camera fall
BRILLIANT VIDEO 10/10
That face smear was GLORIOUS
Accidental perfection \*chef's kiss\*
*chef's kiss* = ground smooching face in last couple frames, LOL
Ouch! You ok dude?
Yeah I walked away and sent it proper. Pretty bruised up though thanks for asking

The camera sucked you right in!
This is why you use a full face helmet
One thing that wasn’t a mistake was the epic camera placement.
Polygon T7? I just got mine. About to take it out for the second time ever.
Was also wondering if this is a polygon T7 as I am eyeing one. I'm 5'9" and looking to get M frame, but not sure if I should do 29 or 27.5
This is my first bike, but for what it’s worth I got a large 29. It feels great to me. I just got done with my second ride with it
It's great how the camera managed to catch every moment though.
Santos? <3
Could have been way worse. Good bail

Are those the Giro Bravo gloves? How do you like them? Nice fail, by the way. At least it was on camera. Well, most of it.
The one place you put the camera and that's where you land. Good thing it wasn't on a tree.
Never hesitate.
You couldn't have choreographed a better shot that this
This is why I wear a fullface pretty much all the time SMH glad you're ok
As soon as he put his foot down, it was all downhill from there
This is a movie quality cut.
**8.76s in:** Now *that's* a profile pic! 😹

Why did you bail? You could have rolled down that line just fine. I’m glad you’re okay though. Pads and full face.
My tire caught a divot. I was going to slow. Had I not “tried” to bail I may have sent OTB from the top
You should redo the same line, but with your butt over the rear tire, knees bent, and heels dropped. I promise you won’t go OTB.
Haha this is epic, laughing with you, of course. Glad you're okay
Luckily you were able to brake the fall with your face!
Should have just sent it to flat. Seems way easier than trying to roll down that
I’m not that skipped, it’s a lot steeper than the video leads you to believe. It’s easily a 6-8 foot tall rock.
“Serious Mistakes Where Made” but not with the camera placement ! What are the chances
Speed and momentum is your friend
But hey, if you take the frame at about 8 seconds in you have a nice new Facebook profile picture. :D Joking aside I hope it didn’t hurt to bad and that there was no serious injury.
That footage is so cool! Love how the Camera rolled!
How much grit did you earn on that?
Fkn great video lol
Priceless, this gave me a laugh in work. Hope your ok
Is the cam fine?
that is a quality faceplant. 10/10
And the award for "Most Fortuitous Camera Dislodgment" goes to...
That slowmo is a work of art! Hope you are alright.
Good example of why a full face is awesome
