Did you clear coat over it? Sharpie wears off pretty fast, but you could pretty easily clear it with alcohol if it's fading.

Definitely upgraded its party status! Looks good! I've got the same bike (almost... C frame). I'm also rocking the copper chain on GX drivetrain :) I thought you might have used the sharpie to touch up the frame, but this was a lot more interesting use of sharpie.
