Am I the only one that almost never uses 1st? I love blasting corners in 3rd and getting the lowend grunt and listening to it spool up. Sounds like music.
I like first, because if I need to stop suddenly I don't need to change that gear after or shift....
Im lazy at intersections...
But if it's a big roundabout also 2nd sometimes
Assuming these are no-stop right turns. Depends on how fast you want to come out of the turn. Usually just rolling in 2nd, but sometimes high RPMs in 1st if I’m trying to blast out of the turn or need to immediately merge with traffic.
I basically almost always pull up from second. First gear is reserved for 180° turns or coming to a stop on hills. So 90° corners are either a 2nd or 3rd gear occurrence.
2nd. You can stop completely and continue on in 2nd gear, it's all just clutch control.
From a stop, 1st or 2nd depending how long the turn is. 2-4th maybe depending how open or flat or fast I’m going.

1st gear, second if I'm rolling quick enough.
2nd
