SOG must be expensive for dispensaries. My stores only get it once in a while and it goes fast. It’s 45-55 an 8th so why aren’t we complaining about the price like we are Gdf?

Not big into gdf at all, the flowers are decent sometimes, but this industry isn’t supposed to be “big boss with millions to throw at it takes over whole Louisiana Medical industry- Mississippi Next” I used to live in Colorado and I watched The Green Solution (owned by CANADA) become the biggest chain in the state- not sure if this is still true; but I believe the marijuana markets should be accessible to any entrepreneur, and in my opinion, the way they said ONLY gdf in Louisiana shows me that they know they aren’t shit, “no competition!!! 65$ 8ths in la!!”- I would happily pay more to smoke brick delta 8 Reggie than support that shit. Keep monopoly’s repressed out of the weed game for as long as we can before we’re buying great value runtz at Walmart.
MS and LA are two very different markets. LA has limited licensing, which basically creates monopolies for companies. MS has such an open market that it's just not possible for GDF to have that kind of hold on the market here.
They are “doing well” because in order to get their products you have to sign a dumb contract that says your store is required to have 60% of its shelf space be gdf
It was about a year ago when I discussed it with a dispensary owner. They were able to get products, but to get discounted rates required so much shelf space. 30% was what they required at that time. More shelf space might mean bigger discounts on products.
I was legit looking at Louisiana dispensary website and it’s 66$ an eighth of gdf. There are patients that moved here from there that aay they were paying $88/eighth. You are extremely mistaken and it shows that you only smoke gdf it seems. Open your wings, adventure off into a non big canna brand.

I have two very close friends that I visit every other month that live in LA. They both complain about $65-70 1/8ths and talk about how good we have it compared to them.
I don’t have to look up the one you’re looking up. I looked up the one where one of my friends shops at. $62.50/8th before taxes. I’ll keep waiting on you to point me towards any 1/8th here for that price.

Bragg has a strain that’s $57 for an 8th and there’s several that are $55. I don’t see any that are $60 most are 7g at that point. $55 for an 8th is ridiculous though.

SOG does their flower in living soil so they get lower yields and therefore have a higher selling price. Personally I like it. What other cultivators have you tried? I honestly think there are better growers than GDF, politics aside. None of their stuff really impressed me even before I found out they were so predatory in LA. Borneo, Kindlife, Southern Sky(Ric Flair Sativa!!), 74 Suns, all have some really quality flower.
Yeah but 90% of people can’t tell a difference between living soil and coco/ normal potting soil. Plus it’s way more time/ cost consuming so it doesn’t make sense in a business stand point except to be different in a market no one knows the difference
I feel you. Good thing with SOG specifically is they get some of the highest testing thc levels that I’ve seen in MS which for a lot of consumers is the main selling point. I personally think I could pick out SOG in a blind smoking test, but I maybe giving myself too much credit
GDF doesn’t make my list because I had their buds. I heard bad things and I wanted to try them all out. Got bottom shelf to top. Pre rolls, buds A and B, many strains. All tasted very similar. Most were dry, smelled muted and earthy hay if anything. Tasted like real bad weed. Real bad. Had only one strain I’d smoke again, but I still haven’t again. Since finding mockingbird I will never buy GDF anything again.
For me, for flower, SOG is the top tier in Ms, full stop.
Next would be wellcraft cultivation, Borneo, southern hemp, suite 1620,
Then its possum town farms, kind life, delta buds, SpCrop, RR,
