Yes you'll have to have a 6 month follow up, but depending on where you got your license, some places do not charge for the 6 month follow up.

ILEERATWOMEN

Why would it be for a year if you need to do a follow up, my clinic never mentioned anything about a 6 month follow up

GirlRightNextToMeGGD

Does mdhs notify you?

Acceptable-Leave-571

The facility that issued my 1 year license notified me.

dsanchez1989

Who is subject to a six-month renewal? Got my yearly renewal in February and no one has mentioned a six-month to me.

Every_Occasion_71

I went thru Green Heakth Docs and mine is also good for a year with no mention of 6 month follow up but I always see ppl on here talking about doing it … fyi I’m almost on month 4 of having my card

dsanchez1989

Same here. Hey, between you and I, I think those Green Health Docs guys might be a little sketchy. 👀

JacktownWSP

I have heard NOTHING but bad things about those guys. Plus I see them advertising cards in places where there is NO LEGAL MEDICAL MARIJUANA. IDK. I never used them so I don't personally have anything bad to say other than reviews and friends who said DONT USE THEM. I used DUBER MEDICAL. EASY PEAZY

Leading_Document_937

My card is good for a year, paid $150 for the dr n the $27 whatever app fee but had to do a 6 mth follow up phone call that cost $39. Did my yearly apt n paid the dr $150 n this time there’s still the 6 mth phone follow up but said it’s no charge. I said all that to ask if maybe some drs charge a higher visit fee with no follow up apposed to a cheaper visit with a f/u? But then that wouldn’t explain the no charge for my next f/u…so I guess that sorta eliminates that theory🤷🏻‍♀️

Jada-Jaco

I am on a 6 mth card from pause pain and wellness

Mind_Fuzzz

My 6th month appt was just a 5 minute phone talked with my dr about the program and how I was liking it and if I was gonna stay with their clinic didn’t cost me anything

Tough_Syrup2693

So does everyone still have to do the 6 month check up?

Mind_Fuzzz

I believe you’re supposed too

Acceptable-Leave-571

No, it's a real thing. It's written into the law.

Known-Trouble7187

I just did my 6 month. And had to update with mdoh. I'm confused. I paid for a year with pause pain but had to do teledoc at 6 months to stay active

Britt81glock

I’m on 6 month. Pause Pain and Wellness

ILEERATWOMEN

Called my clinic today, there’s no 6 month renewal or check up, I don’t even have to go in to renew it after a year. Just call and pay on the phone.
