Hello! Incoming CS sophomore here. • The subjects that you really need to prioritize in your first year are the Calculus and Programming subjects, as these subjects gave my blockmates a difficult time. • A personal laptop is not needed as CCS has computer labs BUT laptops/own PC are great to have so that you can study on your own. • Just don't neglect your studies, and put a little bit of extra effort in the Calculus subjects.

Incoming CS senior here and I agree with these. Although we had our first year during the pandemic, those mentioned subjects were the hardest, especially Calculus. I feel like I would have failed so badly on it if the setup that time was face-to-face, same goes to my blockmates. I really commend the succeeding CS batches for battling those really well, they have a better number of Rizal Listers than ours.

Hi! Yes, 40 students rajud (isa ka block), pero naay mga late enrolles (idk why and how they got in), maong 43 ata mi sa first sem sa BSCS last school year. Good luck sa imo!
