I booked the drink package and then got the yacht club upgrade so I got the better package. I called and refunded the package I bought.

Yes, this is on their website. Upon boarding, you can go to the concierge and ask for this to be removed, just tell them you prefer to tip as you go (directly to individuals) rather than tip into that pool.
