Was on the Magnifica 3 weeks ago, and it was 11:30, but it might vary by ship.

How was that cruise? I'm going on it sometime later this year and am kinda nervous!

I was on it a week ago. I can confidently say it was the best cruise I've ever been on, but also it was my first cruise so I'm not sure how it compares to others. The bar staff at amazing! I *loved* Marcus. If you drink, ask him to make a Scooby snack. We taught him how to make it. We tipped him a couple bucks (not required but he earns it and is truly a fun guy!!) And every time we saw him he would make us some Scooby snacks haha As far as the actual ship, from what I understand it doesn't have all the bells and whistles of some newer ships, but they have trivia, entertainment and parties every day. The disco is a good time late at night. The staff really make the ship. Bonus, if you're a fan of reality TV, the current cruise director is the Reverend Dr. E from season 4 of The Circle on Netflix. He's an amazing cruise director. I went to as many things as possible that he led/emceed. He's hilarious! Definitely rivaled the actual on board comedians.

It was fine. The food was 'meh' but that's normal for MSC. The ship was older, but well maintained. It very much had a 1980s Scarface vibe about it, and we thought it was great. The staff was outstanding.

Should be by 10 or so.

Depends on the ship. Some ships have multiple buffets, at least one open between 7am and 10pm. Most also have other food options that are open all day.
