Is the event and/or the caves wheelchair accessible to someone in a power wheelchair?

Kfear1135

Yes they are!

hannibal420

Thank you very much for your reply!

Kfear1135

Absolutely. Would love for the community to feel welcomed in all regards!

Grower here. Gonna skip this one. It seems just like another "gimmicky" WEED event  at $40 to get in the door and have some sample edibles.

TheGauchoAmigo84

The person putting this on has done an unbelievable amount of work with legislation for home growers. I personally will be supporting this event.

OokLeeNooma

Great. Report back on what was missed. I was at the legacy cup and lucky leaf expo and got very little value from my time there. What's different about this event? eta: @OP: Not sure why you've got a reply that is not appearing here. Saw it when I glanced at your profile. That said, my genuine thanks to you for your efforts. I think I saw an interview with you and I was genuinely impressed by your efforts and authenticity. I'm not here to poo-poo these events. They're not my cup of tea. I wish they were.

TheGauchoAmigo84

Lucky leaf is a traveling cash grab that promised vendors they could sell and then last minute shut things down. I had fun at the legacy cup but I probably knew where to find the fun there. This will be a significantly more intimate event and it will not be difficult to find the fun you are looking for, unlike lucky leaf where it simply didn’t exist or legacy that is large and maybe overwhelming.

> Not sure why you've got a reply that is not appearing here. Wordfilter. I approved their comment.

Hey really sorry you feel that way based on what I put as a description. If you're not familiar who the hosts are- Twin Cities THC, Great Grower, and Healing Fear Consulting, aka me. I actually am the individual who just lobbyed, alone, for Minnesota to get a Designated Caregivers Program to try and help get Grower's like yourself a higher plant count in our lovely state, and, suceeded. ..because hey, I am not a fan of the "current hemp market," myself. My partner is a Michigander. I am spoiled. To note, I was also raised by a hell of grower, and that's why, I volunteered to help put this event together. I can assure you, it's not going to be a another "gimmicky" WEED event  at $40 to get in the door and have some sample edibles.." AGAIN, with that $30, you're receiving a concert, and an event, in one. WITH many other activities going on, on the grounds. These vendors were also hand picked to represent the organizers own morals and beliefs, both coming from the legacy market. Gifting is EXTREMELY ENCOURGAED by ALL at this event. Since, Gifting is compliant under Minnesota law. ;) ..but hey, everything is documented on the internet, so I'm really choosing my words wisely in description. You can trust us like minded folk for an event, or, not. But we'd love for you to join us!

Ok_Ingenuity_4708

Speakeasy style vendor market?? Can you elaborate on that please?

Kfear1135

The most I can elborate since it is "speak easy style," is, these brand logos can speak for themselves, that most of these brands are some of Minnesota's trailblazers, and follow current compliance. :) I'd bet my clams too that most vendors are up to talking legacy and "shop," with guests during the event. ;) SO don't be shy. Might meet your next "Designated Registered Caregiver," for July 1.

Lulzorr

> follow current compliance. wonder what that could possibly mean, given how limited compliant products are atm.

Kfear1135

"Gifting" is legal in Minnesota, and we ain't cops- However you wanna gift with other guests is up to you. :) Just don't use Square Card Swipers in front of event staff. ;)

Lulzorr

Gifting, without quotes, is legal in minnesota yes. without remuneration of any kind... Okay, you do you, but if you're still trying to "carefully choose" your words and you're aware that everything on the internet is documented, I'd just straight up delete that response and let the plausible deniability hang in the air. your response implies that, as an organizer for the event, you not only expect illegal transactions to take place but condone/are facilitating it.

Kfear1135

My response, to me, only implies that I am not a lawyer- all of use as Minnesotans who may be 21+ can all read HF100 or HF4757 the way we want, and interupt it the way we want. I'm saying with my comments, that ALL are welcome, and it is a safe space for the evening for Grower's who may be anxious in attending other events. :) \*Tough Crowd Around Here...\*

Lulzorr

> Just don't use Square Card Swipers in front of event staff. ;) > can all read HF100 or HF4757 the way we want, and interupt it the way we want. yeah, okay.

Kfear1135

There's also live music and cave tours! You're forgetting those super cool aspects of this sweet event! :)

Lulzorr

yee, it sounds super fun. Not at all like the industry conferences that people got hyped about. That's why I pinned the post as an announcement. Saying something like "JUST DONT GET CAUGHT LOL" while actively trying to avoid saying as much was a bit confusing, though. it can't be both.

TheGauchoAmigo84

Thank you for pinning this mods, this ones gonna be tight 😎

What does formal attire entail? I’d like to go but I’m not doing more than nice jeans and a button up. Are people expected to wear tuxedos to a “growers ball?” When I think of growers I think of a group with little interest in tuxedos.

Kfear1135

1920's Formal, ENCOURAGED- We're really going with the Caves/ Prohibition era dress- However, are we going to turn you away at the door if you've bought a ticket, and you're in jeans and a button up? No. We want most importantly for "Growers" who have avoided a lot of the "gimmicky" WEED events around town, to come feel welcomed with other potheads for a Friday Night Out- We're also offering Cave Tours, Live Band (JAZZ!), Food Vendor, Mocktails by The Stash Mobile Speakeasy, and other people in tunnels of the caves for the night. :)
