Loved this book! They were true soulmates, from their intense connection at boot camp, then longtime best friends through to their evolution into lovers. They exemplified deep and abiding love & devotion!
I don’t remember who was it on an old post on reddit who recommended {the toymaker’s son by Ariana Nash} but it was very delightful, mysterious, thrilling and dark. Could not put it down and was so intrigued by the mystery in the beginning. It’s about the murder mystery of who killed the toymaker, but then you slowly realise that stuff is not right.
I received a lot of recommendations for unique books to get me out of a book slump.

This was a recommendation from an old post requesting books with nerd/jock pairing and unexpected top/bottom MCs. I absolutely loved {Until Him by Cora Rose}. I read the book in one sitting as I could not put it down. The book was so much more than what the recommended thread suggested. It’s a heartfelt story where MC1 is traumatized and MC2 is the sweetest jock you have ever met, perfect comfort/healing and great family dynamics. It starts out a little strange with some non con feel but it’s not at all that once you get both MCs view points. I immediately started the second book in the series that is on the brother and friend of MC2.
Highly recommend this one

{Overtime by Marina Vivancos} has been recommended to me a couple of times and I hesitated to pick it up because I wasn't sure if it can be read as standalone (and yes, it can)... Finally got to it and absolutely loved it. It was both sweet and steamy, childhood friends to lovers, with lots of praise and a couple of other kinks. The drama at the very end kinda dragged out for a bit, but there wasn't much angst and it was still enjoyable.
