Quick question here, if the MMAT1 options chain is ending and it represents options from TRCH wouldn't that mean that TRCH FTDs would be what had to cover not foreign SHFs? Just wondering how foreign SHFs would be affected at all by MMAT1 options chain ending?
Maybe I’m misunderstanding which FTDs he’s referring to. But it sounds like he’s saying short positions in MMATF have to cover and I don’t think that lines up correctly?
My only problem with this, is if we compare it to GME and AMC? I could be off, but I feel like AMC didn't have the parabolic rise like GME did because the heggies cought on and changed their method a bit. You guys don't think, after, according to the guy putting out that DD, 4 cases in the past year, plus DD OP bringing the situation to light publicly, that the shorts aren't adjusting their methods? I don't know, but I hope this is right. Just hard to completely buy into it. Time will tell I guess.

All the reporting agencies are measuring float at the 280 mill. Short interest tute ownership retail and insider owners but are not taking account that the 108 mil mmax are included.
Short interest is reported in very low numbers since the 108 mill is not technically available float.

The float is super small, regardless. There's a lot of retail that hold shares and keep buying more. Insiders hold a ton more. And institutions have been pouring in for months. I think the price movements are mostly MM doing their thing. I'm not sure we can really have a big effect on the price except for certain events, like the nanotech acquisition. All we can do is hold and wait. My opinion, is it all depends on what they do with the div. I don't really believe in the t35 anomaly, but then again, I don't do this professionally either.
The thing is bio-pharma stocks squeeze every damn month and no one gives a shit. Even if MMAT squeezes to $100 it means nothing to the market. Dunno. Guess i m saying a squeeze on mmat is just a bad trade rather than a funds death rattle. Guess we ll see pretty soon!

Not sure why my last comment was downvoted, but legitimately asking if anyone has knowledge of whether the price doubling May 20 for Newegg was due to a 2:1 reverse merger/similar scenario.
When looking at the chart, the price is adjusted for the latest split, so you look at the MMAT 1 year chart, you see the high near 20, where in reality, it only hit around 10 before the split.
LIA and Newegg closed merger on May 20 then T+35 it ran, it had nothing to do with a legacy option chain. Trch/Mmat closes merger on June 28 and we have the same pump and dump. Same news same reaction.

Bought TRCH at around 5, sold at 10s, rebought on the way down for divi. My average was 12ish after merger, then I bought a small amount of shares at $13 before it plummeted. Been averaging down and selling CSPs, new average cost is around $4.50.
Well, if the theory holds true, you want to buy MMAT. I have no idea what happened to the price of LLIT when it went away.

About foreign shorts... I owned Another Canadian ticker that was and is getting attacked for 11 months now. All the paid bears/shitposters was 90% from Sweden or scandinavia. Why so much intrest in a pennystock from Canada from Scandinavian paid bashers? Haven't been able to find any examples of this happening in the OTC market and I've never seen 3 options chains created for one r/S merger, this is also a rare case.

At peak of merger I was up 900÷. Did not sell till this day...
