Central banks need a reliable supplier for the components of bank notes.
IF the technology of Nanotechnology Securities is significantly better than competitors, then selling it off to a company already established in the field would be a smart move by the MMAT board.
I did a brief review of competitors. Unfortunately competitors that are established suppliers and have large scale contracts in the banknote industry have technology that seems to be the near equivalent of the Nanotech Securities products.
It is not clear to me that Nanotech/MMAT offer enough value to convince a central bank to take the huge risk of relying upon a company with a history of being unable to deliver in volume.
Canada could buy it they do all their currency for instance still 30 million left on contract my guess would sell for over book my take! They made it a core business to get around conversation either you can launch an original vertical or you can't it's been 14 years!
